1. വ്യാജവര്ത്തമാനം പരത്തരുതു; കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷിയായിരിപ്പാന് ദുഷ്ടനോടുകൂടെ ചേരരുതു.

1. Thou shalt not admit a false rumour; put not thine hand with the wicked to be a false witness.

2. ബഹുജനത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ദോഷം ചെയ്യരുതു; ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളവാന് ബഹുജനപക്ഷം ചേര്ന്നു വ്യവഹാരത്തില് സാക്ഷ്യം പറയരുതു

2. Thou shalt not follow a multitude to [do] evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause hiding behind many to wrest [judgment];

3. ദരിദ്രന്റെ വ്യവഹാരത്തില് അവനോടു പക്ഷം കാണിക്കരുതു.

3. neither shalt thou honour a poor man in his cause.

4. നിന്റെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ കാളയോ കഴുതയോ വഴിതെറ്റിയതായി കണ്ടാല് അതിനെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

4. If thou should encounter thine enemy's ox or his ass astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

5. നിന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന്റെ കഴുത ചുമടിന് കീഴെ കിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടാല് അവനെ വിചാരിച്ചു അതിനെ അഴിച്ചുവിടുവാന് മടിച്ചാലും അഴിച്ചുവിടുവാന് അവന്നു സഹായം ചെയ്യേണം.
മത്തായി 5:44

5. If thou see the ass of him that hates thee lying under his burden, will thou forbear to help him? Thou shalt surely help him to raise it up.

6. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള ദരിദ്രന്റെ വ്യവഹാരത്തില് അവന്റെ ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയരുതു.

6. Thou shalt not pervert the rights of thy poor in his cause.

7. കള്ളക്കാര്യം വിട്ടു അകന്നിരിക്ക; കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവനെയും നീതിമാനെയും കൊല്ലരുതു; ഞാന് ദുഷ്ടനെ നീതീകരിക്കയില്ലല്ലോ.

7. Keep thee far from a false matter; and slay thou not the innocent and righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.

8. സമ്മാനം കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവരെ കുരുടാക്കുകയും നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വാക്കുകളെ മറിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങരുതു.

8. And thou shalt take no bribe; for the bribe blinds the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

9. പരദേശിയെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കരുതുനിങ്ങള് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു പരദേശികളായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു പരദേശിയുടെ അനുഭവം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

9. Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger, for ye know the [state of the] soul of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

10. ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെച്ചു വിളവു എടുത്തുകൊള്ക.

10. And six years thou shalt sow thy land and shalt gather in its increase,

11. ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തിലോ അതു ഉഴവുചെയ്യാതെ വെറുതെ ഇട്ടേക്ക; നിന്റെ ജനത്തിലെ ദരിദ്രന്മാര് അഹോവൃത്തി കഴിക്കട്ടെ; അവര് ശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങള് തിന്നട്ടെ. നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടവും ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷവും സംബന്ധിച്ചും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്ക.

11. but the seventh [year] thou shalt leave it [free] and release it, that the poor of thy people may eat, and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard [and] with thy oliveyard.

12. ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്ക; ഏഴാം ദിവസം നിന്റെ കാളയും കഴുതയും വിശ്രമിപ്പാനും നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനും പരദേശിയും ആശ്വസിപ്പാനും വേണ്ടി നീ സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം.

12. Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest, that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid and the stranger may be refreshed.

13. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ച എല്ലാറ്റിലും സൂക്ഷ്മതയോടിരിപ്പിന് ; അന്യ ദൈവങ്ങളുടെ നാമം കീര്ത്തിക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു കേള്ക്കയും അരുതു.

13. And in all [things] that I have said unto you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

14. സംവത്സരത്തില് മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം എനിക്കു ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം.

14. Three times thou shalt celebrate a feast unto me in the year:

15. പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ആബീബ് മാസത്തില് നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നുക; അന്നല്ലോ നീ മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോന്നതു. എന്നാല് വെറുങ്കയ്യോടെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരരുതു.

15. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib, for in it thou didst come out from Egypt; and none shall appear before me empty),

16. വയലില് വിതെച്ച വിതയുടെ ആദ്യഫലമെടുക്കുന്ന കൊയ്ത്തുപെരുനാളും ആണ്ടറുതിയില് വയലില് നിന്നു നിന്റെ വേലയുടെ ഫലം കൂട്ടിത്തീരുമ്പോള് കായ്കനിപ്പെരുനാളും ആചരിക്കേണം.

16. And the feast of the harvest of the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field, and the feast of ingathering, [which is] in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

17. സംവത്സരത്തില് മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം നിന്റെ ആണുങ്ങള് എല്ലാം കര്ത്താവായ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വരേണം.

17. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

18. എന്റെ യാഗരക്തം പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പത്തോടുകൂടെ അര്പ്പിക്കരുതു; എന്റെ യാഗ മേദസ്സ് ഉഷ:കാലംവരെ ഇരിക്കയുമരുതു.

18. Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my lamb remain until the morning.

19. നിന്റെ ഭൂമിയുടെ ആദ്യവിളവുകളിലെ പ്രഥമഫലം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ തള്ളയുടെ പാലില് പാകം ചെയ്യരുതു.

19. The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in his mother's milk.

20. ഇതാ, വഴിയില് നിന്നെ കാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാന് നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാന് ഒരു ദൂതനെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് അയക്കുന്നു.

20. Behold, I send the Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

21. നീ അവനെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു അവന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കേണം; അവനോടു വികടിക്കരുതു; അവന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങളെ ക്ഷമിക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ നാമം അവനില് ഉണ്ടു.

21. Keep thyself before him and hear his voice, grieve him not; for he will not pardon your rebellion, for my name [is] in him.

22. എന്നാല് നീ അവന്റെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ടു ഞാന് കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്താല് നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് പകെക്കും; നിന്നെ ഞെരുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് ഞെരുക്കും.

22. But if thou shalt indeed hear his voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies and an adversary unto those that afflict thee.

23. എന്റെ ദൂതന് നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടന്നു നിന്നെ അമോര്യ്യര്, ഹിത്യര്, പെരിസ്യര്, കനാന്യര്, ഹിവ്യര്, യെബൂസ്യര് എന്നിവരുടെ ദേശത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; അവരെ ഞാന് നിര്മ്മൂലമാക്കും.

23. For my Angel shall go before thee and bring thee in unto [the land of] the Amorite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Canaanite the Hivite and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.

24. അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ നമസ്കരിക്കരുതു; അവയെ സേവിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് പോലെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു; അവരെ അശേഷം നശിപ്പിച്ചു അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തകര്ത്തുകളയേണം.

24. Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works; but thou shalt utterly overthrow them and completely break down their images.

25. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ തന്നേ സേവിപ്പിന് ; എന്നാല് അവന് നിന്റെ അപ്പത്തെയും വെള്ളത്തെയും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; ഞാന് രോഗങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു അകറ്റിക്കളയും.

25. But ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water; and I will take [all] sickness away from the midst of thee.

26. ഗര്ഭം അലസുന്നവളും മച്ചിയും നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; നിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ഞാന് പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കും.

26. No women shall abort, nor be barren, in thy land; the number of thy days I will fulfil.

27. എന്റെ ഭീതിയെ ഞാന് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് അയച്ചു നീ ചെല്ലുന്നേടത്തുള്ള ജാതികളെ ഒക്കെയും അമ്പരപ്പിക്കയും നിന്റെ സകല ശത്രുക്കളെയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു ഔടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

27. I will send my fear before thee and will trouble all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

28. നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു ഹിവ്യനെയും കനാന്യനെയും ഹിത്യനെയും ഔടിച്ചുകളവാന് ഞാന് നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി കടുന്നലിനെ അയക്കും.

28. And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before thee.

29. ദേശം ശൂന്യമാകാതെയും കാട്ടുമൃഗം നിനക്കു ബാധയായി പെരുകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് അവരെ ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകത്തു നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളകയില്ല.

29. I will not drive them out from before thee in one year lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.

30. നീ സന്താനസമ്പന്നമായി ദേശം അടക്കുന്നതുവരെ ഞാന് അവരെ കുറേശ്ശ, കുറേശ്ശ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയും.

30. Little by little I will drive them out from before thee until thou be multiplied and take the land by inheritance.

31. ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദേശം ചെങ്കടല്തുടങ്ങി ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ കടല്വരെയും മരുഭൂമിതുടങ്ങി നദിവരെയും ആക്കും; ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; നീ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയേണം.

31. And I will set thy borders from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines and from the desert unto the river; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and [thou] shalt drive them out before thee.

32. അവരോടു എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു എങ്കിലും നീ ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്യരുതു.

32. Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

33. നീ എന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്വാന് അവര് ഹേതുവായിത്തീരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു വസിക്കരുതു. നീ അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ സേവിച്ചാല് അതു നിനക്കു കണിയായി തീരും.

33. They shall not dwell in thy land lest peradventure they make thee sin against me [by] serving their gods, for it will be a snare unto thee.:
