1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. The LORD said to Moses,

2. ഇതാ, ഞാന് യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ ഊരിയുടെ മകന് ബെസലേലിനെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. 'I have chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,

3. അവന് കൌശലപ്പണികളെ സങ്കല്പിച്ചു ചെയ്വാനും പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു പണി ചെയ്വാനും രത്നം വെട്ടി പതിപ്പാനും

3. and I have filled him with my power. I have given him understanding, skill, and ability for every kind of artistic work---

4. മരത്തില് കൊത്തുപണി ചെയ്വാനും സകലവിധമായ പണിത്തരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാനും ഞാന് അവനെ

4. for planning skillful designs and working them in gold, silver, and bronze;

5. ദിവ്യാത്മാവിനാല് ജ്ഞാനവും ബുദ്ധിയും അറിവും സകലവിധ സാമര്ത്ഥ്യവും കൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. for cutting jewels to be set; for carving wood; and for every other kind of artistic work.

6. ഞാന് ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് അഹീസാമാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ ഒഹൊലിയാബിനെ അവനോടുകൂടെ ആക്കുകയും സകല ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും ജ്ഞാനം നലകുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും അവര് ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

6. I have also selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, to work with him. I have also given great ability to all the other skilled workers, so that they can make everything I have commanded to be made:

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരവും സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകവും അതിന്മീതെയുള്ള കൃപാസനവും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും

7. the Tent of my presence, the Covenant Box and its lid, all the furnishings of the Tent,

8. മേശയും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള നിലവിളക്കും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും

8. the table and its equipment, the lampstand of pure gold and all its equipment, the altar for burning incense,

9. ധൂപപീഠവും ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും വിശേഷവസ്ത്രങ്ങളും

9. the altar for burnt offerings and all its equipment, the washbasin and its base,

10. പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായിട്ടു

10. the magnificent priestly garments for Aaron and his sons to use when they serve as priests,

11. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും അഭിഷേകതൈലവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നുള്ള സുഗന്ധധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗവും ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവര് ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

11. the anointing oil, and the sweet-smelling incense for the Holy Place. In making all these things, they are to do exactly as I have commanded you.'

12. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ ആചരിക്കേണം. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയാകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എനിക്കും നിങ്ങള്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

12. The LORD commanded Moses

13. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് ശബ്ബത്ത് ആചരിക്കേണം; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

13. to tell the people of Israel, 'Keep the Sabbath, my day of rest, because it is a sign between you and me for all time to come, to show that I, the LORD, have made you my own people.

14. അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. ആരെങ്കിലും അന്നു വേല ചെയ്താല് അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

14. You must keep the day of rest, because it is sacred. Whoever does not keep it, but works on that day, is to be put to death.

15. ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; എന്നാല് ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായി യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; ആരെങ്കിലും ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളില് വേല ചെയ്താല് അവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

15. You have six days in which to do your work, but the seventh day is a solemn day of rest dedicated to me. Whoever does any work on that day is to be put to death.

16. ആകയാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ശബ്ബത്തിനെ നിത്യ നിയമമായിട്ടു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ശബ്ബ്ത്തിനെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

16. The people of Israel are to keep this day as a sign of the covenant.

17. അതു എനിക്കും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ എന്നേക്കും ഒരു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു; ആറു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടല്ലോ യഹോവ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു; ഏഴാംദിവസം അവന് സ്വസ്ഥമായിരുന്നു വിശ്രമിച്ചു.

17. It is a permanent sign between the people of Israel and me, because I, the LORD, made heaven and earth in six days, and on the seventh day I stopped working and rested.'

18. അവന് സീനായി പര്വ്വതത്തില് വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിരല്കൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്പലകകളായ സാക്ഷ്യപലക രണ്ടും അവന്റെ പക്കല് കൊടുത്തു.

18. When God had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two stone tablets on which God himself had written the commandments.
