1. ദര്ശനത്താഴ്വരയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകംനിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും വീടുകളുടെ മുകളില് കയറേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്തു ഭവിച്ചു?

1. This is a message about Vision Valley: Why are you celebrating on the flat roofs of your houses?

2. അയ്യോ, കോലാഹലം നിറഞ്ഞും ആരവപൂര്ണ്ണമായും ഇരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണമേ! ഉല്ലസിതനഗരമേ! നിന്റെ ഹതന്മാര് വാളാല് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരല്ല, പടയില് പട്ടുപോയവരും അല്ല.

2. Your city is filled with noisy shouts. Those who lie drunk in your streets were not killed in battle.

3. നിന്റെ അധിപതിമാര് എല്ലാവരും ഒരുപോലെ ഔടിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് വില്ലില്ലാത്തവരായി ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവരൊക്കെയും ദൂരത്തു ഔടിപ്പോയിട്ടും ഒരുപോലെ ബദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. Your leaders ran away, but they were captured without a fight. No matter how far they ran, they were found and caught.

4. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞതുഎന്നെ നോക്കരുതു; ഞാന് കൈപ്പോടെ കരയട്ടെ; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നാശത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാന് ബദ്ധപ്പെടരുതു.

4. Then I said, 'Leave me alone! Let me cry bitter tears. My people have been destroyed, so don't try to comfort me.'

5. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിങ്കല്നിന്നു ദര്ശനത്താഴ്വരയില് പരാഭവവും സംഹാരവും പരിഭ്രമവുമുള്ളോരു നാള് വരുന്നു; മതിലുകളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും മലകളോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതും ആയ നാള് തന്നേ.

5. The LORD All-Powerful had chosen a time for noisy shouts and confusion to fill Vision Valley, and for everyone to beg the mountains for help.

6. ഏലാം, കാലാളും കുതിരപ്പടയും ഉള്ള സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടെ ആവനാഴിക എടുക്കയും കീര്പരിചയുടെ ഉറനീക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

6. The people of Elam and Kir attacked with chariots and carried shields.

7. അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ താഴ്വരകള് രഥങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു നിറയും; കുതിരപ്പട വാതില്ക്കല് അണിനിരത്തും.

7. Your most beautiful valleys were covered with chariots; your cities were surrounded by cavalry troops.

8. അവന് യെഹൂദയുടെ മൂടുപടം നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അന്നു നിങ്ങള് വനഗൃഹത്തിലെ ആയുധവര്ഗ്ഗത്തെ നോക്കി,

8. Judah was left defenseless. At that time you trusted in the weapons you had stored in Forest Palace.

9. You saw the holes in the outer wall of Jerusalem, and you brought water from the lower pool.

10. യെരൂശലേമിലെ വീടുകള് എണ്ണി, മതില് ഉറപ്പിപ്പാന് വീടുകളെ പൊളിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

10. You counted the houses in Jerusalem and tore down some of them, so you could get stones to repair the city wall.

11. പഴയ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന് രണ്ടു മതിലുകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു ജലാശയം ഉണ്ടാക്കി; എങ്കിലും അതു വരുത്തിയവങ്കലേക്കു നിങ്ങള് തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല, പണ്ടു പണ്ടേ അതു നിരൂപിച്ചവനെ ഔര്ത്തതുമില്ല.

11. Then you built a large tank between the walls to store the water. But you refused to trust the God who planned this long ago and made it happen.

12. അന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു കരച്ചലിന്നും വിലാപത്തിന്നും മൊട്ടയടിക്കുന്നതിന്നും

12. When all of this happened, the LORD All-Powerful told you to weep and mourn, to shave your heads, and wear sackcloth.

13. രട്ടുടുക്കുന്നതിന്നും വിളിച്ചപ്പോള് ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും കാള അറുക്കുക, ആടറുക്കുക, ഇറച്ചിതിന്നുക, വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്ക! നാം തിന്നുക, കുടിക്ക; നാളെ മരിക്കുമല്ലോ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.

13. But instead, you celebrated by feasting on beef and lamb and by drinking wine, because you said, 'Let's eat and drink! Tomorrow we may die.'

14. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എനിക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിത്തന്നതുനിങ്ങള് മരിക്കുംവരെ ഈ അകൃത്യം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മോചിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

14. The LORD All-Powerful has spoken to me this solemn promise: 'I won't forgive them for this, not as long as they live.'

15. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നുനീ ചെന്നു ഭണ്ഡാരപതിയും രാജധാനിവിചാരകനുമായ ശെബ്നെയെ കണ്ടു പറയേണ്ടതു;

15. The LORD All-Powerful is sending you with this message for Shebna, the prime minister:

16. നീ എന്താകന്നു ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നതു? നിനക്കു ഇവിടെ ആരുള്ളു? ഇവിടെ നീ കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നതു ആക്കായിട്ടു? ഉയര്ന്നോരു സ്ഥലത്തു അവന് തനിക്കു ഒരു കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നു; പാറയില് തനിക്കു ഒരു പാര്പ്പിടം കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.

16. Shebna, what gives you the right to have a tomb carved out of rock in this burial place of royalty? None of your relatives are buried here.

17. എടോ, നിന്നെ യഹോവ തൂക്കിയെടുത്തു ചുഴറ്റി എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും.

17. You may be powerful, but the LORD is about to snatch you up and throw you away.

18. അവന് നിന്നെ ഒരു പന്തുപോലെ വിശാലമായോരു ദേശത്തിലേക്കു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ലജ്ജയായുള്ളോവേ, അവിടെ നീ മരിക്കും; നിന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള രഥങ്ങളും അവിടെയാകും.

18. He will roll you into a ball and throw you into a wide open country, where you will die and your chariots will be destroyed. You're a disgrace to those you serve.

19. ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗത്തില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നു അവന് നിന്നെ പറിച്ചുകളയും.

19. The LORD is going to take away your job!

20. അന്നാളില് ഞാന് ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി എന്റെ ദാസനായ എല്യാക്കീമിനെ വിളിക്കും.

20. He will give your official robes and your authority to his servant Eliakim son of Hilkiah. Eliakim will be like a father to the people of Jerusalem and to the royal family of Judah.

21. അവനെ ഞാന് നിന്റെ അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കച്ചകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അര കെട്ടും; നിന്റെ അധികാരം ഞാന് അവന്റെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; അവന് യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികള്ക്കും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നും ഒരു അപ്പനായിരിക്കും.

22. ഞാന് ദാവീദ് ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ താക്കോല് അവന്റെ തോളില് വേക്കും; അവന് തുറന്നാല് ആരും അടെക്കുകയില്ല; അവന് അടെച്ചാല് ആരും തുറക്കുകയുമില്ല.

22. The LORD will put him in charge of the key that belongs to King David's family. No one will be able to unlock what he locks, and no one will be able to lock what he unlocks.

23. ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു ഒരു ആണിപോലെ ഞാന് അവനെ തറെക്കും; അവന് തന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു മഹത്വമുള്ളോരു സിംഹാസനം ആയിരിക്കും.

23. The LORD will make him as firm in his position as a tent peg hammered in the ground, and Eliakim will bring honor to his family.

24. അവര് അവന്റെമേല് അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്റെ സകലമഹത്വത്തെയും സന്തതിയെയും പ്രജയെയും കിണ്ണംമുതല് തുരുത്തിവരെയുള്ള സകലവിധ ചെറു പാത്രങ്ങളെയും തൂക്കിയിടും.

24. His children and relatives will be supported by him, like pans hanging from a peg on the wall.

25. അന്നാളില് ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു തറെച്ചിരുന്ന ആണി ഇളകിപ്പോകും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതു മുറിഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയും അതിന്മേലുള്ള ഭാരം തകര്ന്നുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

25. That peg is fastened firmly now, but someday it will be shaken loose and fall down. Then everything that was hanging on it will be destroyed. This is what the LORD All-Powerful has promised.
