2. And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

4. Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with YHWH, and my work with my Elohim.

6. And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

7. Thus saith YHWH, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of YHWH that is faithful, and he Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

8. Thus saith YHWH, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

9. That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

10. അവര്ക്കും വിശക്കയില്ല, ദാഹിക്കയുമില്ല; മരീചികയും വെയിലും അവരെ ബാധിക്കയില്ല; അവരോടു കരുണയുള്ളവന് അവരെ വഴിനടത്തുകയും നീരുറവുകള്ക്കരികെ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും.

10. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

13. Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for YHWH hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

14. But Zion said, YHWH hath forsaken me, and my master hath forgotten me.

16. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

17. നിന്റെ മക്കള് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു വരുന്നു; നിന്നെ നശിപ്പിച്ചവരും ശൂന്യമാക്കിയവരും നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുന്നു.

17. Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.

18. തലപൊക്കി ചുറ്റും നോക്കുക; ഇവര് എല്ലാവരും നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു കൂടുന്നു. എന്നാണ, നീ അവരെ ഒക്കെയും ആഭരണംപോലെ അണികയും ഒരു മണവാട്ടി എന്നപോലെ അവരെ അരെക്കു കെട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

18. Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith YHWH, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.

19. നിന്റെ ശൂന്യസ്ഥലങ്ങളും പാഴിടങ്ങളും നാശം ഭവിച്ച ദേശവുമോ ഇപ്പോള് നിവാസികള്ക്കു പോരാതെവരും; നിന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞവര് ദൂരത്തു അകന്നിരിക്കും.

19. For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.

20. നിന്റെ പുത്രഹീനതയിലെ മക്കള്സ്ഥലം പോരാതിരിക്കുന്നു; പാര്പ്പാന് സ്ഥലം തരിക എന്നു നിന്നോടു പറയും.

20. The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.

21. അപ്പോള് നീ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില്ഞാന് പുത്രഹീനയും വന്ധ്യയും പ്രവാസിനിയും അലഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്നവളും ആയിരിക്കേ ആര് ഇവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു വളര്ത്തിത്തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു? ഞാന് ഏകാകിയായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഇവര് എവിടെ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറയും.

21. Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?

22. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് ജാതികള്ക്കു എന്റെ കൈ ഉയര്ത്തുകയും വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്റെ കൊടി കാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അവര് നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ തങ്ങളുടെ മാര്വ്വില് അണെച്ചും പുത്രിമാരെ തോളില് എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു വരും.

22. Thus saith the Master YHWH, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

23. രാജാക്കന്മാര് നിന്റെ പോറ്റപ്പന്മാരും അവരുടെ രാജ്ഞികള് നിന്റെ പോറ്റമ്മമാരും ആയിരിക്കും; അവര് നിന്നെ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വണങ്ങി, നിന്റെ കാലിലെ പൊടി നക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകയില്ല എന്നും നീ അറിയും.

23. And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am YHWH: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

24. Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

25. എന്നാല് യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുബലവാനോടു ബദ്ധന്മാരെ എടുത്തുകളയാം; നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്റെ കവര്ച്ചയെയും വിടുവിക്കാം; നിന്നോടു പോരാടുന്നവനോടു ഞാന് പോരാടുകയും നിന്റെ മക്കളെ രക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

25. But thus saith YHWH, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

26. നിന്നെ ഞെരുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് അവരുടെ സ്വന്തമാംസം തീറ്റും; വീഞ്ഞുപോലെ സ്വന്തരക്തം കുടിച്ചു അവര്ക്കും ലഹരി പിടിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ വീരന് നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനും ആകുന്നു എന്നു സകലജഡവും അറിയും.

26. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I YHWH am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
