1. യെഹൂദയുടെ പാപം ഇരിമ്പെഴുത്താണികൊണ്ടും വജ്രത്തിന്റെ മുനകൊണ്ടും എഴുതിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ പലകയിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളിലും കൊത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

1. Then the word of the LORD came to me:

2. ഉയര്ന്ന കുന്നുകളില് പച്ചമരങ്ങള്ക്കരികെയുള്ള അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളെയും അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെയും അവരുടെ മക്കള് ഔര്ക്കുംന്നുവല്ലോ.

2. 'You must not marry and have sons or daughters in this place.'

3. വയല്പ്രദേശത്തിലെ എന്റെ പര്വ്വതമേ. നിന്റെ അതിര്ക്കകത്തൊക്കെയും ചെയ്ത പാപംനിമിത്തം ഞാന് നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തും സകലനിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും പൂജാഗിരികളും കവര്ച്ചെക്കു ഏല്പിക്കും.

3. For this is what the LORD says about the sons and daughters born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers:

4. ഞാന് നിനക്കു തന്ന അവകാശം നീ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകേണ്ടിവരും; നീ അറിയാത്ത ദേശത്തു ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ സേവിക്കുമാറാക്കും നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ കോപത്തില് തീ കത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു എന്നേക്കും കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും;

4. 'They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like refuse lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth.'

5. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; മനുഷ്യനില് ആശ്രയിച്ചു ജഡത്തെ തന്റെ ഭുജമാക്കി ഹൃദയംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ വിട്ടുമാറുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് .

5. For this is what the LORD says: 'Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal; do not go to mourn or show sympathy, because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity from this people,' declares the LORD.

6. അവന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ ചൂരച്ചെടിപോലെയാകും; നന്മ വരുമ്പോള് അതിനെ കാണാതെ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വരണ്ട പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും നിവാസികള് ഇല്ലാത്ത ഉവര്നിലത്തിലും പാര്ക്കും.

6. 'Both high and low will die in this land. They will not be buried or mourned, and no-one will cut himself or shave his head for them.

7. യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കയും യഹോവ തന്നേ ആശ്രയമായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .

7. No-one will offer food to comfort those who mourn for the dead--not even for a father or a mother--nor will anyone give them a drink to console them.

8. അവന് വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെ നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും ആറ്റരികെ വേരൂന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ വൃക്ഷംപോലെയാകും; ഉഷ്ണം തട്ടുമ്പോള് അതു പേടിക്കയില്ല; അതിന്റെ ഇല പച്ചയായിരിക്കും; വരള്ച്ചയുള്ള കാലത്തും വാട്ടം തട്ടാതെ ഫലം കായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

8. 'And do not enter a house where there is feasting and sit down to eat and drink.

9. ഹൃദയം എല്ലാറ്റിനെക്കാളും കപടവും വിഷമവുമുള്ളതു; അതു ആരാഞ്ഞറിയുന്നവന് ആര്?

9. For this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Before your eyes and in your days I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in this place.

10. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് ഹൃദയത്തെ ശോധനചെയ്തു അന്തരംഗങ്ങളെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ഔരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നും പ്രവൃത്തിയുടെ ഫലത്തിന്നും തക്കവണ്ണം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

10. 'When you tell these people all this and they ask you,`Why has the LORD decreed such a great disaster against us? What wrong have we done? What sin have we committed against the LORD our God?'

11. ന്യായമായിട്ടല്ലാതെ ധനം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നവന് , താന് ഇടാത്ത മുട്ട പൊരുന്നിരിക്കുന്ന തിത്തിരിപ്പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ മദ്ധ്യായുസ്സിങ്കല് അതു അവനെ വിട്ടുപോകുംഒടുക്കം അവന് ഭോഷനായിരിക്കും.

11. then say to them,`It is because your fathers forsook me,' declares the LORD,`and followed other gods and served and worshipped them. They forsook me and did not keep my law.

12. ആദിമുതല് ഉന്നതമായി മഹത്വമുള്ള സിംഹാസനമേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരസ്ഥാനമേ,

12. But you have behaved more wickedly than your fathers. See how each of you is following the stubbornness of his evil heart instead of obeying me.

13. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും, എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുന്നവരെ മണ്ണില് എഴുതിവേക്കും; അവര് ജീവനുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഉറവായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

13. So I will throw you out of this land into a land neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favour.'

14. യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കേണമേ, എന്നാല് എനിക്കു സൌഖ്യം വരും; എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ, എന്നാല് ഞാന് രക്ഷപ്പെടും; നീ എന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയല്ലോ.

14. 'However, the days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when men will no longer say,`As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,'

15. അവര് എന്നോടുയഹോവയുടെ വചനം എവിടെ? അതു വരട്ടെ എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

15. but they will say,`As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave to their forefathers.

16. ഞാനോ ഇടയനായി നിന്നെ സേവിപ്പാന് മടിച്ചില്ല; ദുര്ദ്ദിനം ഞാന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതുമില്ല എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങള് ഉച്ചരിച്ചതു തിരുമുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

16. 'But now I will send for many fishermen,' declares the LORD, 'and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.

17. നീ എനിക്കു ഭയങ്കരനാകരുതേ; അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് എന്റെ ശരണം നീയല്ലോ.

17. My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from me, nor is their sin concealed from my eyes.

18. എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവന് ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകട്ടെ; ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; അവര് ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; ഞാന് ഭ്രമിച്ചു പോകരുതേ; അവര്ക്കും അനര്ത്ഥദിവസം വരുത്തി, അവരെ തകര്ത്തു തകര്ത്തു നശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

18. I will repay them double for their wickedness and their sin, because they have defiled my land with the lifeless forms of their vile images and have filled my inheritance with their detestable idols.'

19. യഹോവ എന്നോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തുനീ ചെന്നു, യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാര് അകത്തു വരികയും പുറത്തു പോകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ജനത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കലും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ എല്ലാവാതില്ക്കലും നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു പറക
റോമർ 1:25

19. O LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, 'Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good.

20. ഈ വാതിലുകളില്കൂടി അകത്തു കടക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരും എല്ലായെഹൂദന്മാരും യെരൂശലേമിലെ സര്വ്വനിവാസികളും ആയുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കേള്പ്പിന് !

20. Do men make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods!'

21. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; ശബ്ബത്തുനാളില് യാതൊരു ചുമടും ചുമന്നു യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വാതിലുകളില് കൂടി അകത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരരുതു.

21. 'Therefore I will teach them--this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know that my name is the LORD.
