1. ബാബേല്രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരും അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യവും അവന്റെ ആധിപത്യത്തിന് കീഴുള്ള സകല ഭൂരാജ്യങ്ങളും സകല ജാതികളും യെരൂശലേമിനോടും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടും യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോള്, യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കല്നിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

2. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനീ ചെന്നു, യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് ഈ നഗരത്തെ ബാബേല്രാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; അവന് അതിനെ തീ വെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.

2. 'Thus says the LORD who made it, the LORD who formed it to establish it (the LORD [is] His name):

3. നീ അവന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ പിടിപെട്ടു അവന്റെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടും; നീ ബാബേല്രാജാവിനെ കണ്ണോടു കണ്ണു കാണുകയും അവന് വായോടുവായ് നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കയും നീ ബാബേലിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരികയും ചെയ്യും.

3. 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'

4. എങ്കിലും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്ക്ക! നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

4. ' For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been pulled down [to fortify] against the siege mounds and the sword:

5. നീ വാളാല് മരിക്കയില്ല; നീ സമാധാനത്തോടെ മരിക്കും; നിനക്കു മുമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പണ്ടത്തെ രാജാക്കന്മാരായ നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി സുഗന്ധദഹനം കഴിച്ചതുപോലെ അവര് നിനക്കുവേണ്ടിയും കഴിക്കും; അയ്യോ തമ്പുരാനേ! എന്നു ചൊല്ലി അവര് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കും; അതു ഞാന് കല്പിച്ച വചനമല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

5. 'They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [only] to fill their places with the dead bodies of men whom I will slay in My anger and My fury, all for whose wickedness I have hidden My face from this city.

6. യിരെമ്യാ പ്രവാചകന് ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും യെരൂശലേമില് യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.

6. 'Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

7. അന്നു ബാബേല്രാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യം യെരൂശലേമിനോടും ലാക്കീശ്, അസെക്കാ എന്നിങ്ങനെ യെഹൂദയില് ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടും യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളില്വെച്ചു ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളായി ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്നതു ഇവയത്രേ.

7. 'And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first.

8. ആരും തന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ഒരു യെഹൂദനെക്കൊണ്ടു അടിമവേല ചെയ്യിക്കാതെ എബ്രായദാസനെയും എബ്രായദാസിയെയും

8. 'I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.

9. സ്വതന്ത്രരായി വിട്ടയക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു വിമോചനം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കേണമെന്നു സിദെക്കീയാരാജാവു യെരൂശലേമിലെ സകല ജനത്തോടും ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തശേഷം, യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കല്നിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു.

9. 'Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.'

10. ആരും തന്റെ ദാസനെക്കൊണ്ടും ദാസിയെക്കൊണ്ടും ഇനി അടിമവേല ചെയ്യിക്കാതെ അവരെ സ്വതന്ത്രരായി വിട്ടയക്കേണമെന്നുള്ള നിയമത്തില് ഉള്പ്പെട്ട സകല പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സര്വ്വജനവും അതു അനുസരിച്ചു അവരെ വിട്ടയച്ചിരുന്നു.

10. ' Thus says the LORD: 'Again there shall be heard in this place -- of which you say, 'It [is] desolate, without man and without beast' -- in the cities of Judah, in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast,

11. പിന്നീടോ അവര് വ്യത്യാസം കാണിച്ചു, സ്വതന്ത്രരായി വിട്ടയച്ചിരുന്ന ദാസന്മാരെയും ദാസിമാരെയും മടക്കിവരുത്തി അവരെ വീണ്ടും ദാസീദാസന്മാരാക്കിത്തീര്ത്തു.

11. the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: 'Praise the LORD of hosts, For the LORD [is] good, For His mercy [endures] forever' -- [and] of those [who will] bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,' says the LORD.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കല് നിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

12. ' Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'In this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing [their] flocks to lie down.

13. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ അടിമവീടായ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നാളില് അവരോടു ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തു

13. 'In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks shall again pass under the hands of him who counts [them,'] says the LORD.

14. തന്നെത്താന് നിനക്കു വില്ക്കയും ആറുസംവത്സരം നിന്നെ സേവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എബ്രായസഹോദരനെ ഒടുക്കം ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തില് വിട്ടയക്കേണം; അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനായി നിന്റെ അടുക്കല്നിന്നു വിട്ടയക്കേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് എന്റെ കല്പന അനുസരിച്ചില്ല, ചെവി ചായിച്ചതുമില്ല.

14. ' Behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah:

15. നിങ്ങളോ ഇന്നു തിരിഞ്ഞു ഔരോരുത്തന് തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു വിമോചനം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കിയതിനാല് എനിക്കു ഹിതമായതു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു, എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആലയത്തില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തു.

15. 'In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David A Branch of righteousness; He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

16. എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള് വ്യത്യാസം കാണിച്ചു എന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി ഔരോരുത്തന് ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ പോയ്ക്കൊള്വാന് വിമോചനം കൊടുത്തു അയച്ചിരുന്ന തന്റെ ദാസനെയും ദാസിയെയും മടക്കിവരുത്തി ദാസീദാസന്മാരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this [is the name] by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.'

17. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരന്നും കൂട്ടുകാരന്നും വിമോചനം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടില്ലല്ലോ; ഇതാ, ഞാന് ഒരു വിമോചനം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; അതു വാളിന്നും മഹാമാരിക്കും ക്ഷാമത്തിന്നു മത്രേ; ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ഭീതിവിഷയമാക്കിത്തീര്ക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

17. 'For thus says the LORD: 'David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;

18. കാളകൂട്ടിയെ രണ്ടായി പിളര്ന്നു അതിന്റെ പിളര്പ്പുകളുടെ നടുവെ കടന്നുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെയ്ത നിയമത്തിലെ സംഗതികള് നിവര്ത്തിക്കാതെ എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരെ,

18. 'nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.' '

19. കാളകൂട്ടിയുടെ പിളര്പ്പുകളുടെ നടുവെ കടന്നുപോയ യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും യെരൂശലേം പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും ഷണ്ഡന്മാരെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ദേശത്തിലെ സകലജനത്തെയും തന്നേ, ഞാന് ഏല്പിക്കും.

19. And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

20. അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിലും അവര്ക്കും പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിലും ഞാന് അവരെ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവരുടെ ശവങ്ങള് ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികള്ക്കും ഭൂമിയിലെ മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കും ഇരയായ്തീരും.

20. 'Thus says the LORD: 'If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season,

21. യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവെയും അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും ഞാന് അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിലും അവര്ക്കും പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിലും നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന ബാബേല്രാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിന്റെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും.

21. 'then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.

22. ഞാന് കല്പിച്ചു അവരെ ഈ നഗരത്തിലേക്കു മടക്കി വരുത്തും; അവര് അതിനെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു പിടിച്ചു തീ വെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും; ഞാന് യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളെ നിവാസികളില്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

22. 'As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.' '
