1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of the LORD came to me:

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മത്സരഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നു; കാണ്മാന് കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലു അവര് കാണുന്നില്ല; കേള്പ്പാന് ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അവര് കേള്ക്കുന്നില്ല; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.

2. Mortal, you are living in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see but do not see, who have ears to hear but do not hear;

3. ആകയാല് മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യാത്രക്കോപ്പു ഒരുക്കി പകല്സമയത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പുറപ്പെടുക; അവര് കാണ്കെ നിന്റെ സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു യാത്രപുറപ്പെടുക; മത്സരഗൃഹമെങ്കിലും പക്ഷേ അവര് കണ്ടു ഗ്രഹിക്കുമായിരിക്കും.

3. for they are a rebellious house. Therefore, mortal, prepare for yourself an exile's baggage, and go into exile by day in their sight; you shall go like an exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.

4. യാത്രക്കോപ്പുപോലെ നിന്റെ സാമാനം നീ പകല്സമയത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; വൈകുന്നേരത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്നു പോകുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ നീ പുറപ്പെടേണം.

4. You shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for exile; and you shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as those do who go into exile.

5. അവര് കാണ്കെ നീ മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരന്നു അതില്കൂടി അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

5. Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry the baggage through it.

6. അവര് കാണ്കെ നീ അതു തോളില് ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഇരുട്ടത്തു യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; നിലം കാണാതവണ്ണം നിന്റെ മുഖം മൂടിക്കൊള്ളേണം; ഞാന് നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒരു അടയാളം ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. In their sight you shall lift the baggage on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark; you shall cover your face, so that you may not see the land; for I have made you a sign for the house of Israel.

7. എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് ചെയ്തു; യാത്രക്കോപ്പുപോലെ ഞാന് എന്റെ സാമാനം പകല്സമയത്തു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, വൈകുന്നേരത്തു ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ടു മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരന്നു ഇരുട്ടത്തു അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, അവര് കാണ്കെ തോളില് ചുമന്നു.

7. I did just as I was commanded. I brought out my baggage by day, as baggage for exile, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my own hands; I brought it out in the dark, carrying it on my shoulder in their sight.

8. എന്നാല് രാവിലെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

8. In the morning the word of the LORD came to me:

9. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, മത്സരഗൃഹമായ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം നിന്നോടുനീ എന്തു ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചില്ലയോ?

9. Mortal, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, What are you doing?

10. ഈ അരുളപ്പാടു യെരൂശലേമിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്ക്കും അവരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാര്ക്കുംന്ന യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും ഉള്ളതു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറക.

10. Say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: This oracle concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel in it.

11. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരടയാളമാകുന്നു എന്നു നീ പറക; ഞാന് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവര്ക്കും ഭവിക്കും; അവര് നാടുകടന്നു പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും.

11. Say, I am a sign for you: as I have done, so shall it be done to them; they shall go into exile, into captivity.

12. അവരുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള പ്രഭു ഇരുട്ടത്തു തോളില് ചുമടുമായി പുറപ്പെടും; അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരക്കും; കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിലം കാണാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് മുഖം മൂടും.

12. And the prince who is among them shall lift his baggage on his shoulder in the dark, and shall go out; he shall dig through the wall and carry it through; he shall cover his face, so that he may not see the land with his eyes.

13. ഞാന് എന്റെ വല അവന്റെമേല് വീശും; അവന് എന്റെ കണിയില് അകപ്പെടും; ഞാന് അവനെ കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തു ബാബേലില് കൊണ്ടുപോകും; എങ്കിലും അവന് അതിനെ കാണാതെ അവിടെവെച്ചു മരിക്കും.

13. I will spread my net over him, and he shall be caught in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, yet he shall not see it; and he shall die there.

14. അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സഹായക്കാരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് നാലു ദിക്കിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാളൂരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

14. I will scatter to every wind all who are around him, his helpers and all his troops; and I will unsheathe the sword behind them.

15. ഞാന് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിതറിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളില് ചിന്നിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

15. And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries.

16. എന്നാല് അവര് പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളെയും വിവരിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവരില് ഏതാനുംപേരെ വാള്, ക്ഷാമം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിവയില്നിന്നു ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

16. But I will let a few of them escape from the sword, from famine and pestilence, so that they may tell of all their abominations among the nations where they go; then they shall know that I am the LORD.

17. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. The word of the LORD came to me:

18. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നടുക്കത്തോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും വിറയലോടും പേടിയോടുംകൂടെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്ക.

18. Mortal, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness;

19. ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതുയെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅവരുടെ ദേശം അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളുടെയും സാഹസംനിമിത്തം അതിന്റെ നിറവോടു കൂടെ ശൂന്യമായ്പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് പേടിയോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും സ്തംഭനത്തോട വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

19. and say to the people of the land, Thus says the Lord GOD concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, because their land shall be stripped of all it contains, on account of the violence of all those who live in it.

20. ജനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങള് ശൂന്യവും ദേശം നിര്ജ്ജനവും ആയിത്തീരും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

20. The inhabited cities shall be laid waste, and the land shall become a desolation; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

21. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

21. The word of the LORD came to me:

22. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, കാലം നീണ്ടുപോകും; ദര്ശനമൊക്കെയും ഒക്കാതെപോകും എന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തു ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലുള്ളതു എന്തു?

22. Mortal, what is this proverb of yours about the land of Israel, which says, The days are prolonged, and every vision comes to nothing?

23. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഞാന് ഈ പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലു നിര്ത്തലാക്കും; അവര് യിസ്രായേലില് ഇനി അതു ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായി ഉപയോഗിക്കയില്ല; കാലവും സകല ദര്ശനത്തിന്റെയും നിവൃത്തിയും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക.

23. Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord GOD: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall use it no more as a proverb in Israel. But say to them, The days are near, and the fulfillment of every vision.

24. യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തില് ഇനി മിത്ഥ്യാദര്ശനവും വ്യാജപ്രശ്നവും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല.

24. For there shall no longer be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.

25. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; അതു താമസിയാതെ നിവൃത്തിയാകും; മത്സരഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലത്തു തന്നേ ഞാന് വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും നിവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

25. But I the LORD will speak the word that I speak, and it will be fulfilled. It will no longer be delayed; but in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and fulfill it, says the Lord GOD.

26. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

26. The word of the LORD came to me:

27. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹംഇവന് ദര്ശിക്കുന്ന ദര്ശനം വളരെനാളത്തേക്കുള്ളതും ഇവന് പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു ദീര്ഘകാലത്തേക്കുള്ളതും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

27. Mortal, the house of Israel is saying, The vision that he sees is for many years ahead; he prophesies for distant times.

28. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്റെ വചനങ്ങളില് ഒന്നും ഇനി താമസിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

28. Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be fulfilled, says the Lord GOD.
