1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The LORD said:

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേലില് പ്രവചിച്ചുപോരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു, സ്വന്തഹൃദയങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്പ്പിന് !

2. Ezekiel, son of man, condemn the prophets of Israel who say they speak in my name, but who preach messages that come from their own imagination. Tell them it's time to hear my message.

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസ്വന്തമനസ്സിനെയും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളെയും പിന്തുടരുന്ന ബുദ്ധികെട്ട പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

3. I, the LORD God, say those lying prophets are doomed! They don't see visions--they make up their own messages!

4. യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര് ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ കുറക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Israel's prophets are no better than jackals that hunt for food among the ruins of a city.

5. യഹോവയുടെ നാളില് യുദ്ധത്തില് ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഇടിവുകളില് കയറീട്ടില്ല, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി മതില് കെട്ടീട്ടുമില്ല.

5. They don't warn the people about coming trouble or tell them how dangerous it is to sin against me.

6. അവര് വ്യാജവും കള്ളപ്രശ്നവും ദര്ശിച്ചിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു പറയുന്നു; യഹോവ അവരെ അയച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലും വചനം നിവൃത്തിയായ്വരുമെന്നു അവര് ആശിക്കുന്നു.

6. Those prophets lie by claiming they speak for me, but I have not even chosen them to be my prophets. And they still think their words will come true.

7. ഞാന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് മിത്ഥ്യാദര്ശനം ദര്ശിക്കയും വ്യാജപ്രശ്നം പറകയും അല്ലയോ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു?

7. They say they're preaching my messages, but they are full of lies--I did not speak to them!

8. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് വ്യാജം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു ഭോഷകു ദര്ശിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

8. So I am going to punish those lying prophets for deceiving the people of Israel with false messages.

9. വ്യാജം ദര്ശിക്കയും കള്ളപ്രശ്നം പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും എന്റെ കൈ വിരോധമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മന്ത്രിസഭയില് അവര് ഇരിക്കയില്ല; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ പേര്വഴിച്ചാര്ത്തില് അവരെ എഴുതുകയില്ല; യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തില് അവര് കടക്കയുമില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

9. I will turn against them and no longer let them belong to my people. They will not be allowed to call themselves Israelites or even to set foot in Israel. Then they will realize that I am the LORD God.

10. Those prophets refuse to be honest. They tell my people there will be peace, even though there's no peace to be found. They are like workers who think they can fix a shaky wall by covering it with paint.

11. അടന്നു വീഴുംവണ്ണം കുമ്മായം പൂശുന്നവരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതുപെരുമഴ ചൊരിയും; ഞാന് ആലിപ്പഴം പൊഴിയിച്ചു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിപ്പിക്കും.

11. But when I send rainstorms, hailstones, and strong winds, the wall will surely collapse.

12. ചുവര് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് പൂശിയ കുമ്മായം എവിടെപ്പോയി എന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു പറകയില്ലയോ?

12. People will then ask the workers why the paint didn't hold it up.

13. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിക്കുമാറാക്കും; എന്റെ കോപത്തില് പെരുമഴ പെയ്യിക്കും; എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് മുടിച്ചുകളയുന്ന വലിയ ആലിപ്പഴം പൊഴിക്കും.

13. That wall is the city of Jerusalem. And I, the LORD God, am so angry that I will send strong winds, rainstorms, and hailstones to destroy it.

14. നിങ്ങള് കുമ്മായം പൂശിയ ചുവരിനെ ഞാന് ഇങ്ങനെ ഇടിച്ചു നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; അതു വീഴും; നിങ്ങള് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് മുടിഞ്ഞു പോകും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

14. The lying prophets have tried to cover up the evil in Jerusalem, but I will tear down the city, all the way to its foundations. And when it collapses, those prophets will be killed, and everyone will know that I have done these things.

15. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ചുവരിന്മേലും അതിന്നു കുമ്മായം പൂശിയവരുടെ മേലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തെ നിവൃത്തിയാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു

15. The city of Jerusalem and its lying prophets will feel my fierce anger. Then I will announce that the city has fallen and that the lying prophets are dead,

16. ഇനി ചുവരില്ല; അതിന്നു കുമ്മായം പൂശിയവരായി, യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു, സമാധാനമില്ലാതിരിക്കെ അതിന്നു സമാധാനദര്ശനങ്ങളെ ദര്ശിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. because they promised my people peace, when there was no peace. I, the LORD God, have spoken.

17. നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, സ്വന്തവിചാരം പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരായ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുടെനേരെ നിന്റെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവര്ക്കും വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. Ezekiel, son of man, now condemn the women of Israel who preach messages that come from their own imagination.

18. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുദേഹികളെ വേട്ടയാടേണ്ടതിന്നു കയ്യേപ്പുകള്ക്കു ഒക്കെയും രക്ഷകളും ഏതു പൊക്കത്തിലും ഉള്ളവരുടെ തലെക്കുതക്ക മൂടുപടങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകള്ക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ജനത്തില് ചില ദേഹികളെ വേട്ടയാടി കൊല്ലുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആദായത്തിന്നായി ചില ദേഹികളെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

18. Tell them they're doomed! They wear magic charms on their wrists and scarves on their heads, then trick others into believing they can predict the future. They won't get away with telling those lies.

19. മരിക്കരുതാത്ത ദേഹികളെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കരുതാത്ത ദേഹികളെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങള്, ഭോഷകു കേള്ക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ഭോഷകുപറയുന്നതിനാല് എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില് ഒരു പിടി യവത്തിന്നും ഒരു അപ്പക്കഷണത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി എന്നെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. They charge my people a few handfuls of barley and a couple pieces of bread, and then give messages that are insulting to me. They use lies to sentence the innocent to death and to help the guilty go free. And my people believe them!

20. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുദേഹികളെ പറവ ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷകള്ക്കു ഞാന് വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അവയെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭുജങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പറിച്ചുകീറി, ദേഹികളേ, നിങ്ങള് പറവജാതികളെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന ദേഹികളെ തന്നേ വിടുവിക്കും

20. I hate the magic charms they use to trick people into believing their lies. I will rip those charms from their wrists and set free the people they have trapped like birds.

21. നിങ്ങളുടെ മൂടുപടങ്ങളെയും ഞാന് പറിച്ചുകീറി എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; അവര് ഇനി നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈക്കല് വേട്ടയായിരിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

21. I will tear the scarves from their heads and rescue my people from their power once and for all. Then they will know that I am the LORD God.

22. ഞാന് ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കാത്ത നീതിമാന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ നിങ്ങള് വ്യാജങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കയും തന്റെ ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു ജീവരക്ഷ പ്രാപിക്കാതവണ്ണം ദുഷ്ടനെ നിങ്ങള് ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

22. They do things I would never do. They lie to good people and encourage them to do wrong, and they convince the wicked to keep sinning and ruin their lives.

23. നിങ്ങള് ഇനി വ്യാജം ദര്ശിക്കയോ പ്രശ്നം പറകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല; ഞാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

23. I will no longer let these women give false messages and use magic, and I will free my people from their control. Then they will know that I, the LORD, have done these things.
