1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേലില് പ്രവചിച്ചുപോരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു, സ്വന്തഹൃദയങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്പ്പിന് !

2. Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസ്വന്തമനസ്സിനെയും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങളെയും പിന്തുടരുന്ന ബുദ്ധികെട്ട പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

3. Thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

4. യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര് ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ കുറക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.

5. യഹോവയുടെ നാളില് യുദ്ധത്തില് ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഇടിവുകളില് കയറീട്ടില്ല, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി മതില് കെട്ടീട്ടുമില്ല.

5. Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the fence for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

6. അവര് വ്യാജവും കള്ളപ്രശ്നവും ദര്ശിച്ചിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു പറയുന്നു; യഹോവ അവരെ അയച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലും വചനം നിവൃത്തിയായ്വരുമെന്നു അവര് ആശിക്കുന്നു.

6. They have seen vanity and lying divination, that say, The LORD saith; and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word should be confirmed.

7. ഞാന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് മിത്ഥ്യാദര്ശനം ദര്ശിക്കയും വ്യാജപ്രശ്നം പറകയും അല്ലയോ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു?

7. Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith; albeit I have not spoken?

8. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് വ്യാജം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു ഭോഷകു ദര്ശിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

8. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

9. വ്യാജം ദര്ശിക്കയും കള്ളപ്രശ്നം പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും എന്റെ കൈ വിരോധമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മന്ത്രിസഭയില് അവര് ഇരിക്കയില്ല; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ പേര്വഴിച്ചാര്ത്തില് അവരെ എഴുതുകയില്ല; യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തില് അവര് കടക്കയുമില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

9. And mine hand shall be against the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

10. സമാധാനം ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കെ സമാധാനം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവര് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ചതിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടും അതു ചുവര് പണിതാല് അവര് കുമ്മായം പൂശിക്കളയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും

10. Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one buildeth up a wall, behold, they daub it with untempered mortar:

11. അടന്നു വീഴുംവണ്ണം കുമ്മായം പൂശുന്നവരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതുപെരുമഴ ചൊരിയും; ഞാന് ആലിപ്പഴം പൊഴിയിച്ചു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിപ്പിക്കും.

11. say unto them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

12. ചുവര് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് പൂശിയ കുമ്മായം എവിടെപ്പോയി എന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു പറകയില്ലയോ?

12. Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

13. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിക്കുമാറാക്കും; എന്റെ കോപത്തില് പെരുമഴ പെയ്യിക്കും; എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് മുടിച്ചുകളയുന്ന വലിയ ആലിപ്പഴം പൊഴിക്കും.

13. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it.

14. നിങ്ങള് കുമ്മായം പൂശിയ ചുവരിനെ ഞാന് ഇങ്ങനെ ഇടിച്ചു നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; അതു വീഴും; നിങ്ങള് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് മുടിഞ്ഞു പോകും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

14. So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered: and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

15. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ചുവരിന്മേലും അതിന്നു കുമ്മായം പൂശിയവരുടെ മേലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തെ നിവൃത്തിയാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു

15. Thus will I accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar; and I will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

16. ഇനി ചുവരില്ല; അതിന്നു കുമ്മായം പൂശിയവരായി, യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു, സമാധാനമില്ലാതിരിക്കെ അതിന്നു സമാധാനദര്ശനങ്ങളെ ദര്ശിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. to wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

17. നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, സ്വന്തവിചാരം പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരായ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുടെനേരെ നിന്റെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവര്ക്കും വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

18. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുദേഹികളെ വേട്ടയാടേണ്ടതിന്നു കയ്യേപ്പുകള്ക്കു ഒക്കെയും രക്ഷകളും ഏതു പൊക്കത്തിലും ഉള്ളവരുടെ തലെക്കുതക്ക മൂടുപടങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകള്ക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ജനത്തില് ചില ദേഹികളെ വേട്ടയാടി കൊല്ലുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആദായത്തിന്നായി ചില ദേഹികളെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

18. and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe to the women that sew pillows upon all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! will ye hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?

19. മരിക്കരുതാത്ത ദേഹികളെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കരുതാത്ത ദേഹികളെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങള്, ഭോഷകു കേള്ക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ഭോഷകുപറയുന്നതിനാല് എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില് ഒരു പിടി യവത്തിന്നും ഒരു അപ്പക്കഷണത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി എന്നെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hearken unto lies.

20. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുദേഹികളെ പറവ ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷകള്ക്കു ഞാന് വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അവയെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭുജങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പറിച്ചുകീറി, ദേഹികളേ, നിങ്ങള് പറവജാതികളെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന ദേഹികളെ തന്നേ വിടുവിക്കും

20. Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms; and I will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

21. നിങ്ങളുടെ മൂടുപടങ്ങളെയും ഞാന് പറിച്ചുകീറി എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; അവര് ഇനി നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈക്കല് വേട്ടയായിരിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

21. Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22. ഞാന് ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കാത്ത നീതിമാന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ നിങ്ങള് വ്യാജങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കയും തന്റെ ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു ജീവരക്ഷ പ്രാപിക്കാതവണ്ണം ദുഷ്ടനെ നിങ്ങള് ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

22. Because with lies ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive:

23. നിങ്ങള് ഇനി വ്യാജം ദര്ശിക്കയോ പ്രശ്നം പറകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല; ഞാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

23. therefore ye shall no more see vanity, nor divine divinations: and I will deliver my people out of your hand; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
