1. പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, പന്ത്രണ്ടാം മാസം, ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. And in the twelfth yeere in the twelfth moneth, and in the first day of the moneth, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുജാതികളില് ബാലസിംഹമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ കടലിലെ നക്രംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; നീ നദികളില് ചാടി കാല്കൊണ്ടു വെള്ളം കലക്കി നദികളെ അഴുക്കാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

2. Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation for Pharaoh King of Egypt, and say vnto him, Thou art like a lyon of the nations and art as a dragon in the sea: thou castedst out thy riuers and troubledst the waters with thy feete, and stampedst in their riuers.

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് അനേകം ജാതികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ മേല് എന്റെ വലയെ വീശിക്കും; അവര് എന്റെ വലയില് നിന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുക്കും;

3. Thus sayth the Lord God, I will therefore spread my net ouer thee with a great multitude of people, and they shall make thee come vp into my net.

4. ഞാന് നിന്നെ കരെക്കു വലിച്ചിടും; നിന്നെ വെളിന് പ്രദേശത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെമേല് ഇരിക്കുമാറാക്കി സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലെയും മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കു നിന്നെ ഇരയാക്കി തൃപ്തിവരുത്തും.

4. Then will I leaue thee vpon the land, and I will cast thee vpon the open field, and I wil cause all the foules of the heauen to remaine vpon thee, and I will fill all the beastes of the field with thee.

5. ഞാന് നിന്റെ മാംസത്തെ പര്വ്വതങ്ങളിന്മേല് കൂട്ടി നിന്റെ പിണംകൊണ്ടു താഴ്വരകളെ നിറെക്കും.

5. And I will lay thy flesh vpon the mountaines, and fill the valleys with thine height.

6. ഞാന് നിന്റെ ചെളിനിലത്തെ മലകളോളം നിന്റെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നനെക്കും; നീര്ച്ചാലുകള് നിന്നാല് നിറയും.

6. I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, euen to ye mountaines, and the riuers shall be full of thee.

7. നിന്നെ കെടുത്തുകളയുമ്പോള് ഞാന് ആകാശത്തെ മൂടി അതിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് സാര്യനെ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു മറെക്കും; ചന്ദ്രന് പ്രകാശം നലകുകയും ഇല്ല.

7. And when I shall put thee out, I will couer the heauen, and make the starres thereof darke: I will couer the sunne with a cloude, and the moone shall not giue her light.

8. ആകാശത്തിലെ ശോഭയുള്ള ജ്യോതിസ്സുകളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദേശത്തില് അന്ധകാരം വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

8. All the lightes of heauen will I make darke for thee, and bring darkenesse vpon thy lande, sayeth the Lord God.

9. നിന്റെ നാശം ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലും നീ അറിയാത്ത ദേശങ്ങളോളവും പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് അനേക ജാതികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കും.

9. I will also trouble the heartes of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations and vpon the countries which thou hast not knowen.

10. ഞാന് അനേകം ജാതികളെ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സ്തംഭിക്കുമാറാക്കും; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് കാണ്കെ ഞാന് എന്റെ വാള് വീശുമ്പോള്, അവര് നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം അത്യന്തം പേടിച്ചുപോകും; നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളില് അവര് ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ പ്രാണനെ ഔര്ത്തു മാത്രതോറും വിറെക്കും.

10. Yea, I will make many people amased at thee, and their Kings shalbe astonished with feare for thee, when I shall make my sworde to glitter against their faces, and they shall be afraide at euery moment: euery man for his owne life in the day of thy fall.

11. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുബാബേല്രാജാവിന്റെ വാള് നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും.

11. For thus sayth the Lord God, The sworde of the King of Babel shall come vpon thee.

12. വീരന്മാരുടെ വാള്കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ വീഴുമാറാക്കും; അവരെല്ലാവരും ജാതികളില്വെച്ചു ഉഗ്രന്മാര്; അവര് മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ പ്രതാപത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിലെ പുരുഷാരമൊക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോകും.

12. By the swordes of the mightie will I cause thy multitude to fall: they all shall be terrible nations, and they shall destroy the pompe of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shalbe consumed.

13. വളരെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെനിന്നു ഞാന് അതിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കും ഇനിമേല് മനുഷ്യന്റെ കാല് അതിനെ കലക്കുകയില്ല; മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കുളമ്പും അതിനെ കലക്കുകയില്ല.

13. I will destroy also all the beastes thereof from the great watersides, neither shall the foote of man trouble them any more, nor the hooues of beast trouble them.

14. ആ കാലത്തു ഞാന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളം തെളിയുമാറാക്കി അവരുടെ നദികളെ എണ്ണപോലെ ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

14. Then will I make their waters deepe, and cause their riuers to runne like oyle, sayeth the Lord God.

15. ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ പാഴാക്കി ദേശം ശൂന്യമായി അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ഇല്ലാതാകുമ്പോഴും ഞാന് അതിലെ നിവാസികളെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോഴും, ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

15. When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the countrey with all that is therein, shall be laid waste: when I shall smite all them which dwell therein, then shall they know that I am ye Lord.

16. അവര് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്ന വിലാപം ഇതത്രേ; ജാതികളുടെ പുത്രിമാര് ഇതു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കും; അവര് മിസ്രയീമിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അതിലെ സകലപുരുഷന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും ഇതു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. This is the mourning wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for Egypt, and for all her multitude, sayeth the Lord God.

17. പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, ആ മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. In the twelfth yeere also in the fifteenth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lord vnto me, saying,

18. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീമിലെ പുരുഷാരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു അതിനെയും ശ്രുതിപ്പെട്ട ജാതികളുടെ പുത്രിമാരെയും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടു കൂടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു തള്ളിയിടുക.

18. Sonne of man, lament for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them downe, euen them and the daughters of the mighty nations vnto the nether partes of the earth, with them that goe downe into the pit.

19. സൌന്ദര്യത്തില് നീ ആരെക്കാള് വിശേഷപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കുക.

19. Whome doest thou passe in beautie? goe downe and sleepe with the vncircumcised.

20. വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരുടെ നടുവില് അവര് വീഴും; വാള് നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിനെയും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തെയും വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുവിന് .

20. They shall fall in the middes of them that are slaine by the sword: shee is deliuered to the sword: draw her downe, and all her multitude.

21. വീരന്മാരില് ബലവാന്മാരായവര് അവന്റെ സഹായക്കാരോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു അവനോടു സംസാരിക്കും; അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരയവര് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവിടെ കിടക്കുന്നു.

21. The most mighty and strong shall speake to him out of the mids of hell with them that helpe her: they are gone downe and sleepe with the vncircumcised that be slaine by the sworde.

22. അവിടെ അശ്ശൂരും അതിന്റെ സര്വ്വസമൂഹവും ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ശവകൂഴികള് അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും കിടക്കുന്നു; അവരെല്ലാവരും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണവര് തന്നേ.

22. Asshur is there and all his companie: their graues are about him: all they are slaine and fallen by the sworde.

23. അവരുടെ ശവകൂഴികള് പാതാളത്തിന്റെ അങ്ങെയറ്റത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സമൂഹം അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴിയുടെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു ഭീതി പരത്തിയ അവരെല്ലാവരും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

23. Whose graues are made in the side of the pit, and his multitude are rounde about his graue: all they are slaine and fallen by the sworde, which caused feare to be in the land of the liuing.

24. അവിടെ ഏലാമും അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴിയുടെ ചുറ്റും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും ഉണ്ടു; അവര് എല്ലാവരും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണു അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു അവര് നീതി പരത്തി; എങ്കിലും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ അവര് ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കുന്നു.

24. There is Elam and all his multitude round about his graue: al they are slaine and fallen by the sword which are gone downe with the vncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused themselues to be feared in the land of the liuing, yet haue they borne their shame with them that are gone downe to the pit.

25. നിഹതന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അവര് അതിന്നു അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തിന്നും ഒരു കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴികള് അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവരൊക്കെയും അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരാകുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു അവര് ഭീതി പരത്തിയിരിക്കയാല് കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കുന്നു; നിഹതന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അതു കിടക്കുന്നു.

25. They haue made his bed in the mids of the slaine with al his multitude: their graues are round about him: all these vncircucised are slaine by the sworde: though they haue caused their feare in the land of ye liuing, yet haue they borne their shame with them that goe downe to the pitte: they are laide in the middes of them, that be slaine.

26. അവിടെ മേശെക്കും തൂബലും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും ഉണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴികള് അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു ഭീതി പരത്തിയിരിക്കയാല് അവരൊക്കെയും അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു.

26. There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude, their graues are round about them: al these vncircumcised were slaine by the sworde, though they caused their feare to be in ye land of the liuing.

27. അവര് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു വീരന്മാര്ക്കും ഭീതി ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ അസ്ഥികളിന്മേല് ചുമന്നും തങ്ങളുടെ വാളുകളെ തലെക്കു കീഴെ വെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളില് പട്ടുപോയ വീരന്മാരായി പടക്കോപ്പോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തില് ഇറങ്ങിയവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ?

27. And they shall not lie with the valiant of the vncircumcised, that are fallen, which are gone down to the graue, with their weapons of warre, and haue laied their swords vnder their heads, but their iniquitie shalbe vpon their bones: because they were the feare of the mighty in the lande of the liuing.

28. നീയോ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് തകര്ന്നുപോകയും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ കിടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

28. Yea, thou shalt be broken in the middes of the vncircumcised, and lie with them that are slaine by the sworde.

29. അവിടെ ഏദോമും അതിന്റെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വല്ലഭത്വത്തില് വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു; അവര് അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളോടും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടും കൂടെ കിടക്കുന്നു.

29. There is Edom, his Kings, and all his princes, which with their strength are laied by them that were slaine by the sworde: they shall sleepe with the vncircumcised, and with them that goe downe to the pit.

30. അവിടെ വടക്കെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെല്ലാവരും നിഹതന്മാരോടു കൂടെ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയ സകല സീദോന്യരും ഉണ്ടു; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വല്ലഭത്വത്താല് പരത്തിയ ഭീതിനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിക്കുന്നു; അവര് അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെു കിടക്കുകയും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

30. There be al the princes of the North, with al the Zidonians, which are gone downe with the slaine, with their feare: they are ashamed of their strength, and the vncircumcised sleepe with them that be slaine by the sword, and beare their shame with them that goe downe to the pit.

31. അവരെ ഫറവോന് കണ്ടു തന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ആശ്വസിക്കും; ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യവും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31. Pharaoh shall see them, and hee shall be comforted ouer all his multitude: Pharaoh, and all his armie shall be slaine by the sword, saieth the Lord God.

32. ഞാനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ഭീതി ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു പരത്തിയതു; ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ പുരുഷാരമൊക്കെയും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കേണ്ടിവരും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

32. For I haue caused my feare to be in the lande of the liuing: and he shall be laid in the mids of the vncircumcised with them, that are slaine by the sword, euen Pharaoh and all his multitude, sayeth the Lord God.
