1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of the LORD came to me:

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, രോശ്, മേശെക്, തൂബല് എന്നിവയുടെ പ്രഭുവായി മാഗോഗ് ദേശത്തിലെ ഗോഗിന്റെ നേരെ നീ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു;

2. 'Son of man, turn your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Prophesy against him

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുരോശ്, മേശെക്, തൂബല് എന്നിവയുടെ പ്രഭുവായ ഗോഗേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. and say: This is what the Lord God says: Look, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

4. ഞാന് നിന്നെ വഴിതെറ്റിച്ചു നിന്റെ താടിയെല്ലില് ചൂണ്ടല് കൊളുത്തി നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ സകല സൈന്യത്തെയും കുതിരകളെയും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ സര്വ്വായുധം ധരിച്ച കുതിരച്ചേവകരെയും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ വാളും പരിചയും പലകയും എടുത്തു ഒരു മഹാസമൂഹത്തെയും

4. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with all your army, including horses and riders, who are all splendidly dressed, a huge company armed with shields and bucklers, all of them brandishing swords.

5. അവരോടുകൂടെ ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പരിചയും തലക്കോരികയും ധരിച്ച പാര്സികള്, കൂശ്യര്, പൂത്യര്, ഗോമെരും

5. Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shields and helmets;

6. അവന്റെ എല്ലാ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളും വടക്കെ അറ്റത്തുള്ള തോഗര്മ്മാഗൃഹവും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളും എന്നിങ്ങനെ പല ജാതികളെയും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുമാറാക്കും.

6. Gomer with all its troops; and Beth-togarmah from the remotest parts of the north along with all its troops-- many peoples are with you.

7. ഒരുങ്ങിക്കൊള്ക! നീയും നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ സമൂഹമൊക്കെയും ഒരുങ്ങിക്കൊള്വിന് ! നീ അവര്ക്കും മേധാവി ആയിരിക്ക.

7. 'Be prepared and get yourself ready, you and all your company who have been mobilized around you; you will be their guard.

8. ഏറിയനാള് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നീ സന്ദര്ശിക്കപ്പെടും; വാളിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോന്നതും പല ജാതികളില്നിന്നും ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെട്ടതുമായ ഒരു രാജ്യത്തിലേക്കു നീ ഒടുക്കം വന്നുചേരും; നിരന്തരശൂന്യമായി കിടന്നിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്പര്വ്വതങ്ങളില് തന്നേ, എന്നാല് അവര് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു വന്നു എല്ലാവരും നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും.

8. After a long time you will be summoned. In the last years you will enter a land that has been restored from war and regathered from many peoples to the mountains of Israel, which had long been a ruin. They were brought out from the peoples, and all of them [now] live securely.

9. നീ മഴക്കോള്പോലെ കയറിവരും; നീയും നിന്റെ എല്ലാ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളും നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പല ജാതികളും മേഘംപോലെ ദേശത്തെ മൂടും.

9. You, all of your troops, and many peoples with you will advance, coming like a thunderstorm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.

10. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅന്നാളില് നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ചില ആലോചനകള് തോന്നും;

10. 'This is what the Lord God says: On that day, thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.

11. നീ ഒരു ദുരുപായം നിരൂപിക്കും; മതിലില്ലാത്ത ഗ്രാമങ്ങള് ഉള്ള ദേശത്തു ഞാന് ചെല്ലും; കൊള്ളയിടേണ്ടതിന്നും കവര്ച്ച ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നും ശൂന്യമായ്ക്കിടന്നിട്ടും വീണ്ടും നിവാസികളുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങള്ക്കു നേരെയും ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെട്ടും കന്നുകാലികളെയും ധനത്തെയും സമ്പാദിച്ചും ഭൂമിയുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിച്ചും ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെയും കൈ നീട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നും

11. You will say: I will go up against a land of open villages; I will come against a tranquil people who are living securely, all of them living without walls and without bars or gates--

12. ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മതിലും ഔടാമ്പലും കതകും കൂടാതെ നിര്ഭയം വസിച്ചു സ്വൈരമായിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നേരെ ഞാന് ചെല്ലും എന്നും നീ പറയും.

12. in order to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against ruins now inhabited and against a people gathered from the nations, who have been acquiring cattle and possessions and who live at the center of the world.

13. ശെബയും ദെദാനും തര്ശീശ് വര്ത്തകന്മാരും അതിലെ സകല ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളും നിന്നോടുനീ കൊള്ളയിടുവാനോ വന്നതു? കവര്ച്ചചെയ്വാനും വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനും കന്നുകാലികളെയും ധനത്തെയും അപഹരിപ്പാനും ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കൊള്ള നടത്തുവാനും ആകുന്നുവോ നീ നിന്റെ സമൂഹത്തെ കൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു പറയും.

13. Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its rulers will ask you: Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hordes to carry off plunder, to make off with silver and gold, to take cattle and possessions, to seize great spoil?

14. ആകയാല് മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു ഗോഗിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കുന്ന അന്നാളില് നീ അതു അറികയില്ലയോ?

14. 'Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog: This is what the Lord God says: On that day when My people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know [this]

15. നീയും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പലജാതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഒരു മഹാസമൂഹവും മഹാസൈന്യവുമായി നിന്റെ ദിക്കില്നിന്നു, വടക്കെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു തന്നേ, വരും.

15. and come from your place in the remotest parts of the north-- you and many peoples with you, who are all riding horses-- a mighty horde, a huge army?

16. ദേശത്തെ മറെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നുള്ള ഒരു മേഘംപോലെ നീ എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ വരും; ഗോഗേ, അന്ത്യകാലത്തു ജാതികള് കാണ്കെ ഞാന് എന്നെത്തന്നേ നിങ്കല് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവര് എന്നെ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നെ എന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും.

16. You will advance against My people Israel like a cloud covering the land. It will happen in the last days, Gog, that I will bring you against My land so that the nations may know Me, when I show Myself holy through you in their sight.

17. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു വിരോധമായി വരുത്തും എന്നു പണ്ടത്തെ കാലത്തു അനേകം സംവത്സരങ്ങളായി പ്രവചിച്ചുപോന്ന അവരുടെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരായ എന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്മുഖാന്തരം ഞാന് അന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചല്ലയോ?

17. 'This is what the Lord God says: Are you the one I spoke about in former times through My servants, the prophets of Israel, who for years prophesied in those times that I would bring you against them?

18. യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി ഗോഗ് വരുന്ന അന്നാളില് എന്റെ ക്രോധം എന്റെ മൂക്കില് ഉജ്ജ്വലിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

18. Now on that day, the day when Gog comes against the land of Israel'-- [this is] the declaration of the Lord God-- 'My wrath will flare up.

19. അന്നാളില് നിശ്ചയമായിട്ടു യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തു ഒരു വലിയ ഭൂകമ്പം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയിലും എന്റെ കോപാഗ്നിയിലും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. I swear in My zeal and fiery rage: On that day there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.

20. അങ്ങനെ സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യവും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവയും കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗവും നിലത്തിഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയൊക്കെയും ഭൂതലത്തിലെ സകലമനുഷ്യരും എന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് വിറെക്കും; മലകള് ഇടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; കടുന്തൂക്കങ്ങള് വീണുപോകും; എല്ലാ മതിലും നിലംപരിചാകും.

20. The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, every creature that crawls on the ground, and every human being on the face of the earth will tremble before Me. The mountains will be thrown down, the cliffs will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.

21. ഞാന് എന്റെ സകല പര്വ്വതങ്ങളോടും അവന്റെ നേരെ വാളെടുപ്പാന് കല്പിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഔരോരുത്തന്റെ വാള് അവനവന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു വിരോധമായിരിക്കും.

21. I will call for a sword against him on all My mountains'-- the declaration of the Lord God-- 'and every man's sword will be against his brother.

22. ഞാന് മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും രക്തംകൊണ്ടും അവനെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും; ഞാന് അവന്റെമേലും അവന്റെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളുടെമേലും അവനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പല ജാതികളുടെമേലും പെരുമഴയും വലിയ ആലിപ്പഴവും തീയും ഗന്ധകവും വര്ഷിപ്പിക്കും.

22. I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed. I will pour out torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone on him, as well as his troops and the many peoples who are with him.

23. ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന് എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വീകരിക്കയും എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും പല ജാതികളും കാണ്കെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറികയും ചെയ്യും.

23. I will display My greatness and holiness, and will reveal Myself in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
