1. അനന്തരം അവന് എന്നെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള പുറത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിലേക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നാല് അതു അടെച്ചിരുന്നു.

1. Then he brought me back toward the outer gate of the sanctuary, which looked toward the east, but, it was shut.

2. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുഈ ഗോപുരം തുറക്കാതെ അടെച്ചിരിക്കേണം; ആരും അതില്കൂടി കടക്കരുതു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അതില്കൂടി അകത്തു കടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതു അടെച്ചിരിക്കേണം.

2. Then said Yahweh unto me This gate shut, shall remain It shall not be opened And no man shall enter thereby, Because Yahweh, God of Israel, doth enter thereby, Therefore shall it remain shut.

3. പ്രഭുവോ അവന് പ്രഭുവായിരിക്കയാല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ഭോജനം കഴിപ്പാന് അവിടെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവന് ആ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തുകൂടി അകത്തു കടക്കയും അതില്കൂടി പുറത്തു പോകയും വേണം.

3. The prince! as prince, he, shall sit therein, To eat food before Yahweh, By way of the porch of the gate, shall he go in, and By way thereof, shall he come out.

4. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നെ വടക്കെ ഗോപുരംവഴിയായി ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; ഞാന് നോക്കി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില് നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു കവിണ്ണുവീണു.

4. Then he brought me in by way of the north gate unto the front of the house, and I looked and Lo! the glory of Yahweh fled the house of Yahweh, so I fell upon my face.

5. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ സകല വ്യവസ്ഥകളെയും നിയമങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം ശ്രദ്ധവെച്ചു കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നോക്കി ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേള്ക്ക; ആലയത്തിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനത്തെയും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില്നിന്നുള്ള പുറപ്പാടുകളെയും നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം കുറിക്കൊള്ക.

5. And Yahweh said unto me, Son of man Apply thy heart And see with thine eyes And with thine ears, hear thou All that I am speaking with thee, As to all the statutes of the house of Yahweh and As to all the laws thereof, And thou shalt apply thy heart To the entering in of the house, With all the exits of the sanctuary. S

6. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹക്കരായ മത്സരികളോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും മതിയാക്കുവിന് .

6. So then thou shalt say unto the perverse house unto the house of Israel, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh: Let it more than suffice you Out of all your abominations, O house of Israel:

7. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ആഹാരമായ മേദസ്സും രക്തവും അര്പ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്, എന്റെ ആലയത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഹൃദയത്തിലും മാംസത്തിലും അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് ഇരിപ്പാന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകള്ക്കും പുറമെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ നിയമവും ലംഘിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. That ye brought in the sons of the foreigner Uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, To be in my sanctuary. So that be profaned my house, That ye brought near as my food the fat and the blood, And so they brake my covenant Among all your abominations;

8. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളുടെ കാര്യം വിചാരിക്കാതെ അവരെ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് കാര്യവിചാരണെക്കു ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. Neither kept ye the charge of my holy things, But ye did set men to be keepers of my charge in my sanctuary, for your own pleasure,

9. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള യാതൊരു അന്യജാതിക്കാരനും, ഹൃദയത്തിലും മാംസത്തിലും അഗ്രചര്മ്മിയായ യാതൊരു അന്യജാതിക്കാരനും തന്നേ, എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് പ്രവേശിക്കരുതു.

9. Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, No son of a foreigner Uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, -of any son of a foreigner, who is in the midst of the sons of Israel.

10. യിസ്രായേല് തെറ്റിപ്പോയ കാലത്തു എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നു പോയവരും എന്നെ വിട്ടു തെറ്റി വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നവരുമായ ലേവ്യര് തന്നേ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം.

10. But as for the Levites. Who went far from me, when Israel went astray. Who went astray from me, after their manufactured gods, Therefore shall they bear their iniquity,

11. അവര് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് ആലയത്തിന്റെ പടിവാതില്ക്കല് എല്ലാം ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായി കാവല്നിന്നു ആലയത്തില് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; അവര് ജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി ഹോമയാഗവും ഹനനയാഗവും അറുത്തു അവര്ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് നില്ക്കേണം.

11. Yet shall they remain in my sanctuary As attendants in charge at the gates of the house, And attending upon the house, They shall slay the ascending-offering, and the sacrifice of the people, And they, shall stand before them to wait upon them.

12. അവര് അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു അകൃത്യഹേതുവായ്തീര്ന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വിരോധമായി കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

12. Because they used to wait upon them before their manufactured gods, and became to the house of Israel a stumbling-block of iniquity, For this cause have I lifted up my hand concerning them Declareth My Lord Yahweh, and they shall bear their iniquity;

13. അവര് എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാനും അതിവിശുദ്ധങ്ങളായ എന്റെ സകല വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെയും തൊടുവാനും എന്നോടു അടുത്തുവരാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ ലജ്ജയും തങ്ങള് ചെയ്ത മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും വഹിക്കേണം.

13. So then they shall not come near unto me To minister as priests unto me, Nor come near unto any of my holy things, As regardeth things most holy, But they shall bear their rebuke, and their abominations which they have committed;

14. എന്നാല് ആലയത്തിന്റെ എല്ലാ വേലെക്കും അതില് ചെയ്വാനുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും ഞാന് അവരെ അതില് കാര്യവിചാരകന്മാരാക്കി വേക്കും.

14. Yet will I make them keepers of the charge of the house, As to all the labour thereof, and As to all which shall be done therein.

15. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് എന്നെ വിട്ടു തെറ്റിപ്പോയ കാലത്തു എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരണ നടത്തിയിരുന്ന സാദോക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാര് എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നോടു അടുത്തുവരികയും മേദസ്സും രക്തവും എനിക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്കയും വേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

15. But the priests the Levites the sons of Zadok, Who kept the charge of my sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from me, They shall draw near unto me to wait upon me, And shall stand before me, to bring near unto me the fat and the blood Declareth My Lord, Yahweh:

16. അവര് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് കടന്നു എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ മേശയുടെ അടുക്കല് വരികയും എന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരണ നടത്തുകയും വേണം.

16. They shall enter into my sanctuary, and They shall draw near unto my table to wait upon me, So shall they keep my charge.

17. എന്നാല് അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകള്ക്കകത്തു കടക്കുമ്പോള് അവര് ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കേണം; അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കലും ആലയത്തിന്നകത്തും ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുമ്പോള് ആട്ടിന് രോമംകൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കരുതു.

17. And it shall be when they shall enter into the gates of the inner court, Garments of linen, shall they put on, Yea there shall come upon them no wool, when they minister in the gates of the inner court and within:

18. അവരുടെ തലയില് ശണംകൊണ്ടുള്ള തലപ്പാവും അരയില് ശണംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കാലക്കുപ്പായവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം; വിയര്പ്പുണ്ടാകുന്ന യാതൊന്നും അവര് ധരിക്കരുതു.

18. Chaplets of linen, shall be upon their head, and Breeches of linen shall be upon their loins, They shall not gird themselves, so as to perspire,

19. അവര് പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിലേക്കു, പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തില് ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തന്നേ, ചെല്ലുമ്പോള് തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്ത്രത്താല് ജനത്തെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തങ്ങള് ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്ത സമയം ധരിച്ചിരുന്ന വസ്ത്രം നീക്കി വിശുദ്ധമണ്ഡപങ്ങളില് വെച്ചിട്ടു വേറെ വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കേണം.

19. And when they go forth into the outer court into the outer court unto the people, They shall put off their garments, wherein they do minister, and lay them in the chambers of the holy place, And shall put on other garments, That they may not hallow the people by their garments.

20. അവര് തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്കയോ തലമുടി നീട്ടുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ കത്രിക്ക മാത്രമേ ചെയ്യാവു.

20. And their heads, shall they not shave, Nor let the hair grow long, They shall only poll, their heads.

21. യാതൊരു പുരോഹിതനും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചു അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തില് കടക്കരുതു.

21. And wine, shall no priest drink, when they enter into the inner court.

22. വിധവയെയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളെയോ ഭാര്യയായി എടുക്കാതെ അവര് യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിലെ സന്തതിയിലുള്ള കന്യകമാരെയോ ഒരു പുരോഹിതന്റെ ഭാര്യയായിരുന്ന വിധവയെയോ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കേണം.

22. Neither widow nor divorced woman, shall they take to them to wife, But, virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, Or a widow who shall be the widow of a priest shall they take.

23. അവര് വിശുദ്ധമായതിന്നും സാമാന്യമായതിന്നും തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചു, മലിനമായതും നിര്മ്മലമായതും അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയുമാറാക്കേണം.

23. And my people, shall they instruct, between the holy and the common, And between the unclean and the clean, shall they cause them to distinguish.

24. വ്യവഹാരത്തില് അവര് ന്യായം വിധിപ്പാന് നില്ക്കേണം; എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു അവര് ന്യായം വിധിക്കേണം; അവര് ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലൊക്കെയും എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആചരിക്കയും എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും വേണം.

24. And in a controversy, They shall stand up for justice, With my judgments, shall they judge it, And my laws and my statutes in all mine appointed assemblies, shall they observe, And my sabbaths, shall they hallow.

25. അവര് മരിച്ച ആളുടെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു അശുദ്ധരാകരുതു; എങ്കിലും അപ്പന് , അമ്മ, മകന് , മകള്, സഹോദരന് , ഭര്ത്താവില്ലാത്ത സഹോദരി എന്നിവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി അശുദ്ധരാകാം.

25. And unto no dead person, shall they go in. to defile themselves, Save that for father or for mother or for son or for daughter, for brother or for sister who hath belonged to no husband they may defile themselves.

26. അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ഏഴു ദിവസം എണ്ണേണം.

26. Yet after he is cleansed, seven days shall they count to him.

27. വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തില് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന ദിവസത്തില് അവന് പാപയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

27. And in the day when he entereth into the sanctuary, into the inner court to minister in the sanctuary, He shall bring near his sin-bearer, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

28. അവരുടെ അവകാശമോ, ഞാന് തന്നേ അവരുടെ അവകാശം; നിങ്ങള് അവര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേലില് സ്വത്തു ഒന്നും കൊടുക്കരുതു; ഞാന് തന്നേ അവരുടെ സ്വത്താകുന്നു.

28. So shall it become to them an inheritance, I, am their inheritance, And possession, shall ye not give them in Israel, I am their possession.

29. അവര് ഭോജനയാഗം, പാപയാഗം, അകൃത്യയാഗം എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു ഉപജീവനം കഴിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേലില് നിവേദിതമായതൊക്കെയും അവര്ക്കുംള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം.

29. As for the meal-offering and the sin-bearer and the gut-bearer, they shall eat them, And everything devoted in Israel to them, shall belong.

30. സകലവിധ ആദ്യഫലങ്ങളിലും ഉത്തമമായതും വഴിപാടായി വരുന്ന എല്ലാവക വഴിപാടും പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കുംള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്മേല് അനുഗ്രഹം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ തരിമാവിന്റെ ആദ്യഭാഗവും പുരോഹിതന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.

30. And the first of all the firstfruits of everything, and every heave-offering of everything, from among all your heave-offerings to the priests, shall it belong, The first of your meal, shall ye give to the priest, To cause a blessing to rest upon by house.

31. താനേ ചത്തതും പഠിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതുമായ പക്ഷിയെയോ മൃഗത്തെയോ ഒന്നിനെയും പുരോഹിതന് തിന്നരുതു.

31. Nothing that died of itself or was torn in pieces, of bird or of beast shall be eaten by the priests.
