1. ഞാന് യെഹൂദയുടെയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെയും സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റുവാനുള്ള നാളുകളിലും

1. For, behold, in those days, And in that time, When I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

2. കാലത്തിലും ഞാന് സകലജാതികളെയും കൂട്ടി യഹോശാഫാത്ത് താഴ്വരയില് ചെല്ലുമാറാക്കുകയും എന്റെ ജനം നിമിത്തവും എന്റെ അവകാശമായ യിസ്രായേല് നിമിത്തവും അവരോടു വ്യവഹരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അവര് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിതറിച്ചു എന്റെ ദേശത്തെ വിഭാഗിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

2. I will gather all nations, And will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will execute judgment on them there for my people, And for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land,

3. അവര് എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ചീട്ടിട്ടു ഒരു ബാലനെ ഒരു വേശ്യകൂ വേണ്ടി കൊടുക്കയും ഒരു ബാലയെ വിറ്റു വീഞ്ഞുകുടിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

3. And have cast lots for my people, And have given a boy for a prostitute, And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

4. Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre, and Sidon, And all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head.

5. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും എടുത്തു എന്റെ അതിമനോഹരവസ്തുക്കള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

5. Because you have taken my silver and my gold, And have carried my finest treasures into your temples,

6. യെഹൂദ്യരെയും യെരൂശലേമ്യരെയും അവരുടെ അതിരുകളില്നിന്നു ദൂരത്തു അകറ്റുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങള് അവരെ യവനന്മാര്ക്കും വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞു.

6. And have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, That you may remove them far from their border.

7. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് അവരെ വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞിടത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് അവരെ ഉണര്ത്തുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി നിങ്ങളുടെ തലമേല് തന്നേ വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

7. Behold, I will stir them up out of the place where you have sold them, And will return your repayment on your own head;

8. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും യെഹൂദ്യര്ക്കും വിറ്റുകളയും; അവര് അവരെ ദൂരത്തുള്ള ജാതിയായ ശെബായര്ക്കും വിറ്റുകളയും; യഹോവ അതു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah, And they will sell them to the men of Sheba, To a faraway nation, For Yahweh has spoken it.'

9. ഇതു ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് വിളിച്ചുപറവിന് ! വിശുദ്ധയുദ്ധത്തിന്നു ഒരുങ്ങിക്കൊള്വിന് ! വീരന്മാരെ ഉദ്യോഗിപ്പിപ്പിന് ! സകല യോദ്ധാക്കളും അടുത്തുവന്നു പുറപ്പെടട്ടെ.

9. Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare war. Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up.

10. നിങ്ങളുടെ കൊഴുക്കളെ വാളുകളായും വാക്കത്തികളെ കുന്തങ്ങളായും അടിപ്പിന് ! ദുര്ബ്ബലന് തന്നെത്താന് വീരനായി മതിക്കട്ടെ.

10. Beat your plowshares into swords, And your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'

11. ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സകലജാതികളുമായുള്ളോരേ, ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു വന്നുകൂടുവിന് ! യഹോവേ, അവിടേക്കു നിന്റെ വീരന്മാരെ ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കേണമേ.

11. Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves together.' Cause your mighty ones to come down there, Yahweh.

12. ജാതികള് ഉണര്ന്നു യഹോശാഫാത്ത് താഴ്വരയിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെടട്ടെ. അവിടെ ഞാന് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സകലജാതികളെയും ന്യായം വിധിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇരിക്കും.

12. Let the nations arouse themselves, And come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; For there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations.

13. അരിവാള് ഇടുവിന് ; കൊയ്ത്തിന്നു വിളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; വന്നു ചവിട്ടുവിന് ; ചകൂ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; തൊട്ടികള് കവിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടത വലുതല്ലോ.

13. Put in the sickle; For the harvest is ripe. Come, tread , for the winepress is full, The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.'

14. വിധിയുടെ താഴ്വരയില് അസംഖ്യസമൂഹങ്ങളെ കാണുന്നു; വിധിയുടെ താഴ്വരയില് യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near, in the valley of decision.

15. സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള് പ്രകാശം നലകുകയുമില്ല.

15. The sun and the moon are darkened, And the stars withdraw their shining.'

16. യഹോവ സീയോനില്നിന്നു ഗര്ജ്ജിച്ചു, യെരൂശലേമില്നിന്നു തന്റെ നാദം കേള്പ്പിക്കും; ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകും; എന്നാല് യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ശരണവും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കു ദുര്ഗ്ഗവും ആയിരിക്കും.

16. Yahweh will roar from Zion, And thunder from Jerusalem; And the heavens and the earth will shake; But Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, And a stronghold to the children of Israel.

17. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപര്വ്വതമായ സീയോനില് വസിക്കുന്നവനായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും. യെരൂശലേം വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാര് ഇനി അതില്കൂടി കടക്കയുമില്ല.

17. So you will know that I am Yahweh, your God, Dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, And no strangers will pass through her any more.

18. അന്നാളില് പര്വ്വതങ്ങള് പുതുവീഞ്ഞു പൊഴിക്കും; കുന്നുകള് പാല് ഒഴുക്കും; യെഹൂദയിലെ എല്ലാതോടുകളും വെള്ളം ഒഴുക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു ഉറവു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ശിത്തീംതാഴ്വരയെ നനെക്കും.

18. It will happen in that day, That the mountains will drop down sweet wine, The hills will flow with milk, All the brooks of Judah will flow with waters; And a fountain will come forth from the house of Yahweh, And will water the valley of Shittim.

19. യെഹൂദാദേശത്തുവെച്ചു കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു അവരോടു ചെയ്ത സാഹസംഹേതുവായി മിസ്രയീം ശൂന്യമായ്തീരുകയും എദോം നിര്ജ്ജനമരുഭൂമിയായി ഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

19. Egypt will be a desolation, And Edom will be a desolate wilderness, For the violence done to the children of Judah, Because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

20. യെഹൂദെക്കോ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും യെരൂശലേമിന്നു തലമുറതലമുറയോളവും നിവാസികളുണ്ടാകും.

20. But Judah will be inhabited forever, And Jerusalem from generation to generation.

21. ഞാന് പോക്കീട്ടില്ലാത്ത അവരുടെ രക്തപാതകം ഞാന് പോക്കും; യഹോവ സീയോനില് വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

21. I will cleanse their blood, That I have not cleansed: For Yahweh dwells in Zion.'
