1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഗര്ഭംധരിച്ചു ആണ്കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചാല് അവള് ഏഴു ദിവസം അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം; ഋതുവിന്റെ മാലിന്യകാലത്തെന്നപോലെ അവള് അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം.

2. Speak to the children of Israel, saying, If a woman hath conceived seed, and borne a boy: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

3. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

4. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.

5. പെണ്കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചാല് അവള് രണ്ടു ആഴ്ചവട്ടം ഋതുകാലത്തെന്നപോലെ അശുദ്ധയായിരിക്കേണം; പിന്നെ അറുപത്താറു ദിവസം തന്റെ രക്തശുദ്ധീകരണത്തില് ഇരിക്കേണം.

5. But if she shall bear a girl, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying sixty and six days.

6. മകന്നു വേണ്ടിയോ മകള്ക്കു വേണ്ടിയോ അവളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണകാലം തികഞ്ഞശേഷം അവള് ഒരു വയസ്സുപ്രായമുള്ള ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടും ഒരു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഒരു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായിട്ടും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് പുരോഹിത തന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

6. And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to the priest:

7. അവന് അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അര്പ്പിച്ചു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അവളുടെ രക്തസ്രവം നിന്നിട്ടു അവള് ശുദ്ധയാകും. ഇതു ആണ്കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പെണ്കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പ്രസവിച്ചവള്ക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം.

7. Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This [is] the law for her that hath borne a male or a female.

8. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിക്കു അവളുടെ പക്കല് വകയില്ല എങ്കില് അവള് രണ്ടു കുറു പ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഔന്നിനെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നും മറ്റേതിനെ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അവള് ശുദ്ധയാകും.

8. And if she shall not be able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
