1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And Yahweh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying

2. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേല് തിണര്പ്പോ ചുണങ്ങോ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടു കണ്ടാല് അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കലോ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന്റെ അടുക്കലോ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

2. When, any man, shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it shall become in the skin of his flesh the plague-spot of leprosy, then shall he be brought in unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests;

3. പുരോഹിതന് ത്വക്കിന്മേല് ഉള്ള വടു നോക്കേണം; വടുവിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തതും വടു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞതും ആയി കണ്ടാല് അതു കുഷ്ടലക്ഷണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കി അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

3. and the priest shall view the spot in the skin of his flesh if, the hair in the plague, have turned white and the appearance of the spot be deeper than the skin of his flesh, the plague-spot of leprosy, it is, so the priest shall view him and pronounce him unclean.

4. അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പുള്ളി വെളുത്തതും ത്വക്കിനെക്കാളും കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാത്തതും അതിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കാത്തതും ആയി കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് ആ ലക്ഷണമുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടക്കേണം.

4. But, if the bright spot, though white in the skin of his flesh, is not deeper in appearance than the skin, and, the hair, hath not turned white, then shall the priest shut up the plagued one, seven days.

5. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം. വടു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട സ്ഥിതിയില് നിലക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

5. And the priest shall view him on the seventh day, and lo! if the spot hath stayed to his sight, and the spot hath not spread in the skin, then shall the priest shut him up seven days more,

6. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ വീണ്ടും നോക്കേണം; വടു മങ്ങിയതായും ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു ചുണങ്ങത്രേ. അവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

6. Then shall the priest view him on the seventh day, a second time, and lo! if the spot is, faint, and the spot hath not spread in the skin, then shall the priest pronounce him clean it is, a scab, and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7. അവന് ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നായി തന്നെത്താന് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിച്ചശേഷം ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് അധികമായി പരന്നാല് അവന് പിന്നെയും തന്നെത്താന് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

7. But if the scab shall have, verily spread, in the skin, since he was shown to the priest that he might be cleansed, then shall he shew himself again unto the priest;

8. ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പുരോഹിതന് കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

8. and the priest shall take a view, and lo! if the scab hath spread in the skin, then shall the priest pronounce him unclean leprosy, it is.

9. കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഒരു മനുഷ്യനില് ഉണ്ടായാല് അവനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

9. When, the plague of leprosy, cometh to be in any human being, then shall he be brought in unto the priest;

10. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; ത്വക്കിന്മേല് വെളുത്ത തിണര്പ്പുണ്ടായിരിക്കയും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കയും തിണര്പ്പില് പച്ചമാംസത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

10. and the priest shall take a view, and lo! if there is a white rising in the skin and, the same, hath turned the hair white, and there be a wound of raw flesh in the rising,

11. അതു അവന്റെ ത്വക്കില് പഴകിയ കുഷ്ഠം ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് അശുദ്ധനാകകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കരുതു.

11. an old leprosy, it is in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, he shall not shut him up, for unclean, he is.

12. കുഷ്ഠം ത്വക്കില് അധികമായി പരന്നു രോഗിയുടെ തലതൊട്ടു കാല്വരെ പുരോഹിതന് കാണുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും വടു ത്വക്കില് ആസകലം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം;

12. But, if the leprosy, cometh quite out, in the skin, and the leprosy covereth all the skin of him that, is plagued, from his head even unto his feet, so far as appeareth to the eyes of the priest,

13. കുഷ്ഠം അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും മൂടിയിരുന്നാല് അവന് വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; ആസകാലം വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് ആകുന്നു.

13. then shall the priest takes view and lo! if the leprosy hath covered all his flesh, then shall he pronounce clean him that was plagued, all of it, hath turned white, clean, he is.

14. എന്നാല് പച്ചമാംസം അവനില് കണ്ടാല് അവന് അശുദ്ധന് .

14. But, the very day there appeareth in him raw flesh, be shall be unclean;

15. പുരോഹിതന് പച്ചമാംസം നോക്കി അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം. പച്ചമാംസം അശുദ്ധം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

15. so then the priest shall view the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean, as for the raw flesh, unclean, it is, leprosy, it is.

16. എന്നാല് പച്ചമാംസം മാറി വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നാല് അവന് പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

16. Or, if the raw flesh turn again and be changed to white, then shall he come in unto the priest;

17. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; വടു വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

17. and the priest shall view him, and lo! if the spot hath changed to white, then shall the priest pronounce clean him that was plagued clean, he is.

18. ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് പരുവുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടു

18. And, when, any one's flesh, hath, in the skin thereof, a boil, and then it is healed;

19. സൌഖ്യമായ ശേഷം പരുവിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു വെളുത്ത തിണര്പ്പോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഉണ്ടായാല് അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

19. but in the place of the boil, is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish white, then shall it be shown unto the priest.

20. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞതും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തതുമായി കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പരുവില്നിന്നുണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം.

20. And the priest shall take a view and lo! if the appearance thereof, is lower than the skin, and, the hair thereof, hath turned white, then shall the priest pronounce him unclean the plague-spot of leprosy, it, is, in the boil, broken out.

21. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അതുനോക്കി അതില് വെളുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

21. But, if the priest shall view it and lo! there is no white hair therein, and it is not deeper than the skin, and, in itself, is faint, then shall the priest shut him up seven days;

22. അതു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് അധികം പരന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

22. and, if it, clearly spreadeth, in the skin, then shall the priest pronounce him unclean a plague-spot, it is.

23. എന്നാല് വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നിന്നു എങ്കില് അതു പരുവിന്റെ വടു അത്രേ. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

23. But if in its place the bright spot stayeth hath lint spread, a boil, it is, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24. അല്ലെങ്കില് ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് തീപ്പൊള്ളല് ഉണ്ടായി പൊള്ളലിന്റെ വടു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തോ വെളുത്ത തന്നേയോ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പുള്ളി ആയി തീര്ന്നാല്

24. Or, when, any ones flesh, hath in the skin thereof a fiery burning, and the burning wound becometh a bright spot reddish white, or white,

25. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; പുള്ളിയിലെ രോമം വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞുകണ്ടാല് പൊള്ളലില് ഉണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠം; ആകയാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

25. then shall the priest view it and lo! if the hair is turned white in the bright spot and the appearance thereof is deeper than the skin, leprosy, it is, broken out, in the burning, so the priest shall pronounce him unclean, the plague-spot of leprosy, it is.

26. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കീട്ടു പുള്ളിയില് വെളുത്തരോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

26. But, if the priest shall view it and lo! there is not, in the bright spot white hair, and it is not deeper than the skin but, itself, is faint, then shall the priest shut him up seven days;

27. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണംഅതു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നിരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

27. and the priest shall view him on the seventh day, if it, hath plainly spread in the skin, then shall the priest pronounce him unclean, the plague-spot of leprosy, it is.

28. എന്നാല് പുള്ളി ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നില്ക്കയും നിറം മങ്ങിയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പു ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പത്രേ.

28. But, if, in its place the bright spot hath stayed, and hath not spread in the skin, but, itself, is faint, the rising of a burning, it is, and the priest shall pronounce him clean, for only the inflaming of the burning, it is.

29. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു എങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രിക്കു എങ്കിലും തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഒരു വടു ഉണ്ടായാല് പുരോഹിതന് വടു നോക്കേണം.

29. And, when there cometh to be in, any man or woman, a spot, in the head or in the beard,

30. അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞും അതില് പൊന് നിറമായ നേര്മ്മയുള്ള രോമം ഉള്ളതായും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പുറ്റാകുന്നു; തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഉള്ള കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

30. then shall the priest view the spot and lo! if, the appearance thereof, is deeper than the skin, and, therein, is yellow, thin hair, then shall the priest pronounce him unclean a scall, it is, a leprosy of the head or of the beard, it is.

31. പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റിന്റെ വടുവിനെ നോക്കുമ്പോള് അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും അതില് കറുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റുവടുവുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

31. But when the priest vieweth the spot, and lo! there is, no appearance, of it deeper than the skin, and, no dark hair, is therein, then shall the priest shut up him that hath the plague-spot of scall, seven days;

32. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു പരക്കാതെയും അതില് പൊന് നിറമുള്ള രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും പുറ്റിന്റെ കാഴ്ച ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവന് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിക്കേണം;

32. and the priest shall view the spot on the seventh day, and lo! if the scall hath not spread, and there hath not come to be therein yellow hair, and, the appearance of the scall, is not deeper than the skin,

33. എന്നാല് പുറ്റില് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യരുതു; പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റുള്ളവനെ പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

33. then shall he shave himself, but the scall, shall he not shave, and the priest shall shut up him who hath the scall seven days, more;

34. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റു നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെയും കാഴ്ചെക്കു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

34. then shall the priest view the scall, on the seventh day, and lo! if the sea hath not spread in the skin, and, the appearance thereof, is not deeper than the skin, then shall the priest pronounce him clean, and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35. എന്നാല് അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നാല്

35. But, if the scall do indeed spread in the skin, after he hath been pronounced clean,

36. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നിരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് പൊന് നിറമുള്ള രോമം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ.

36. then shall the priest take a view, and lo! if the scall hath spread in the skin, the priest shall not search for the yellow hair unclean, he is.

37. എന്നാല് പുറ്റു കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നിലക്കുന്നതായും അതില് കറുത്ത രോമം മുളെച്ചതായും കണ്ടാല് പുറ്റു സൌഖ്യമായി; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് ; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

37. But, if in his eyes, the scall is at a stay, and dark hair hath grown up therein, the scall is healed, clean, he is, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നോ സ്ത്രീക്കോ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാല്

38. And when either, man or woman, hath in the skin of their flesh bright spots, bright spots that are white,

39. പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് മങ്ങിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാല് അതു ത്വക്കില് ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ചുണങ്ങു; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

39. then shall the priest take a view and lo! if, in the skin of their flesh, are bright spots that are dull white, dead white spot, it is, that hath broken through in the skin clean, he is.

40. തലമുടി കൊഴിഞ്ഞവനോ കഷണ്ടിക്കാരനത്രേ; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

40. And, when, any man's, head loseth its hair, though, bald, he is, clean.

41. തലയില് മുന് വശത്തെ രോമം കൊഴിഞ്ഞവന് മുന് കഷണ്ടിക്കാരന് ; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

41. And if, in front, his head loseth its hair, though bald in the forehead, he is, clean.

42. പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളിയുണ്ടായാല് അതു അവന്റെ പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന കുഷ്ടം.

42. But, should there be, in the baldness behind, or in the baldness in front, a spot that is reddish white, leprosy broken out, it is, in his baldness behind, or in his baldness in front.

43. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ത്വക്കില് കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ വടുവിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തതായിരുന്നാല് അവന് കുഷ്ഠരോഗി;

43. So the priest shall view it, and lo! if, the rising-spot, be reddish white in his baldness behind or in his baldness in front, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh,

44. അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു തീര്ത്തു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന്നു തലയില് കുഷ്ഠരോഗം ഉണ്ടു.

44. a leprous man, is he, unclean, he is, unclean, shall the priest pronounce him in his head, is his plague.

45. വടുവുള്ള കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കളയേണംഅവന്റെ തല മൂടാതിരിക്കേണം; അവന് അധരം മൂടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും അശുദ്ധന് അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറകയും വേണം.

45. Now, as for the leper in whom is the plague, His clothes, shall be rent, And, his head, shall be bare, And, his beard, shall he cover, And, Unclean! Unclean! shall he cry.

46. അവന്നു രോഗം ഉള്ള നാള് ഒക്കെയും അവന് അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ; അവന് തനിച്ചു പാര്ക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പാര്പ്പു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

46. All the days that the plague is in him, shall he continue unclean, Unclean, he is, Alone, shall he remain, Outside the camp, shall be his dwelling.

47. ആട്ടു രോമവസ്ത്രമോ ചണവസ്ത്രമോ ആയ ഏതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലെങ്കിലും

47. And, when, in a garment, there is a plague-spot of leprosy, whether in a garment of wool, or a garment of flax;

48. ചണംകൊണ്ടോ ആട്ടുരോമംകൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള പാവില് എങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും തോല് കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു സാധനത്തില് എങ്കിലും

48. either in warp or in weft, made with flax, or with wool, or in a skin, or in anything wrought of skin;

49. കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടുവായി വസ്ത്രത്തില് എങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും പാവിലെങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലെങ്കിലും വടു ഇളമ്പച്ചയോ ഇളഞ്ചുവപ്പോ ആയിരുന്നാല് അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം ആകുന്നു; അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

49. and the spot cometh to be of a greenish yellow or reddish, in the garment or in the skin, whether in warp or in weft, or in any utensil of skin, the plague-spot of leprosy, it is, and shall be shown unto the priest;

50. പുരോഹിതന് വടുനോക്കി വടുവുള്ളതിനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

50. and the priest shall view the spot, and shall shut up him that is plagued seven days;

51. അവന് ഏഴാം ദിവസം വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോലിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു പണിയിലോ വടു പരന്നിരുന്നാല് ആ വടു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു അശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു.

51. then shall he view the spot, on the seventh day if the spot hath spread in the garment whether in warp or in weft, or in the skin, or anything which may be made of skin for service, the spot is a fretting leprosy, unclean, it is.

52. വടുവുള്ള സാധനം ആട്ടിന് രോമംകൊണ്ടോ ചണം കൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള എന്തെങ്കിലുമോ ആയിരുന്നാലും അതു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

52. Then shall he burn up the garment whether it be m the warp or the weft in wool or in flax, or any utensil of skin, wherein shall be the plague-spot, for, a fretting leprosy, it is, in fire, shall it be burnt up.

53. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; വടു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ പരന്നിട്ടില്ല എങ്കില്

53. But if the priest shall take a view, and lo! the spot has not spread, in the garment, either in warp or in weft, or in any utensil of skin,

54. പുരോഹിതന് വടുവുള്ള സാധനം കഴുകുവാന് കല്പിക്കേണം; അതു പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

54. then shall the priest give command, and they shall wash that wherein is the spot, and he shall shut it up seven days more;

55. കഴുകിയശേഷം പുരോഹിതന് വടു നോക്കേണംവടു നിറം മാറാതെയും പരക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അതു അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു അതിന്റെ അകത്തോ പുറത്തോ തിന്നെടുക്കുന്ന വ്രണം.

55. then shall the priest take a view after the plagued garment hath been washed and lo! if the spot hath not changed its look, then though the spot hath not spread, yet unclean, it is, in the fire, shalt thou burn it up, a sunken spot, it is, in the back thereof, or in the front thereof.

56. പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; കഴുകിയശേഷം വടുവിന്റെ നിറം മങ്ങി എങ്കില് അവന് അതിനെ വസ്ത്രത്തില്നിന്നോ തോലില്നിന്നോ പാവില്നിന്നോ ഊടയില്നിന്നോ കീറിക്കളയേണം.

56. And, if the priest hath taken a view, and lo! the spot is, faint, since it hath been washed, then shall he rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, whether out of the warp or out of the weft;

57. അതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ കാണുന്നു എങ്കില് അതു പടരുന്നതാകുന്നു; വടുവുള്ളതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

57. and, if it appear still in the garment either in the warp or in the weft, or in any utensil of skin, a breaking out, it is, in the fire, shalt thou burn up that wherein is the plague.

58. എന്നാല് വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനമോ കഴുകിയശേഷം വടു അവയില് നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി എങ്കില് അതിനെ രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം കഴുകേണം; അപ്പോള് അതു ശുദ്ധമാകും.

58. But, as for the garment whether the warp or the weft or any utensil of skin which thou shalt wash, and the plague shall depart therefrom, then shall it be washed a second time, and shall be clean.

59. ആട്ടുരോമമോ ചണമോ കൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രത്തില് എങ്കിലും പാവില് എങ്കിലും ഊടയില് എങ്കിലും തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊന്നിലെങ്കിലും ഉള്ള കുഷ്ടത്തിന്റെ വടുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അതു ശുദ്ധമെന്നോ അശുദ്ധമെന്നോ വിധിപ്പാനുള്ള പ്രമാണം ഇതു തന്നേ.

59. This, is the law as to the plague-spot of leprosy, in a garment of wool or of flax, whether in the warp or the weft, or in any utensil of skin, To pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
