1. അഹരോന്റെ രണ്ടുപുത്രന്മാര് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അടുത്തുചെന്നിട്ടു മരിച്ചുപോയ ശേഷം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Lord spoke to Moses after the two sons of Aaron died in bringing strange fire before the Lord, so they died.

2. കൃപാസനത്തിന്മീതെ മേഘത്തില് ഞാന് വെളിപ്പെടുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോന് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തു പെട്ടകത്തിന്മേലുള്ള കൃപാസനത്തിന് മുമ്പില് എല്ലാസമയത്തും വരരുതു എന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണം.

2. And the Lord said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, and let him not come in at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark of the testimony, and he shall not die; for I will appear in a cloud on the mercy seat.

3. പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനോടും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടും കൂടെ അഹരോന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് കടക്കേണം.
എബ്രായർ 9:13

3. Thus shall Aaron enter into the holy place: with a calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and [having] a ram for a whole burnt offering.

4. അവന് പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള വിശുദ്ധമായ അങ്കി ധരിച്ചു ദേഹത്തില് പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള കാല്ചട്ട ഇട്ടു പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള നടുക്കെട്ടു കെട്ടി പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള മുടിയും വെക്കേണം; ഇവ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ആകയാല് അവന് ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകീട്ടു അവയെ ധരിക്കേണം.

4. And he shall put on the consecrated linen tunic, and he shall have on his flesh the linen drawers, and shall gird himself with a linen sash, and shall put on the linen cap, they are holy garments; and he shall bathe all his body in water, and shall put them on.

5. അവന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സഭയുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നു പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു രണ്ടു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും വാങ്ങേണം.

5. And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin-offering, and one lamb for a whole burnt offering.

6. തനിക്കുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെ അഹരോന് അര്പ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

6. And Aaron shall bring the calf for his own sin-offering, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house.

7. അവന് ആ രണ്ടു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിര്ത്തേണം.

7. And he shall take the two goats, and place them before the Lord by the door of the tabernacle of witness.

8. പിന്നെ അഹരോന് യഹോവേക്കു എന്നു ഒരു ചീട്ടും അസസ്സേലിന്നു എന്നു മറ്റൊരു ചീട്ടും ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനും ചീട്ടിടേണം.

8. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for the Lord, and the other for the scapegoat.

9. യഹോവേക്കുള്ള ചീട്ടു വീണ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അഹരോന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പാപയാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

9. And Aaron shall bring forward the goat on which the lot for the Lord fell, and shall offer him for a sin-offering.

10. അസസ്സേലിന്നു ചീട്ടു വീണ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയോ, അതിനാല് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അതിനെ അസസ്സേലിന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു വിട്ടയക്കേണ്ടതിന്നുമായി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ജീവനോടെ നിര്ത്തേണം.

10. And the goat upon which the lot of the scapegoat came, he shall present alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon him, so as to send him away as a scapegoat, and he shall send him into the wilderness.

11. പിന്നെ തനിക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെ അഹരോന് അര്പ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു തനിക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെ അറുക്കേണം.

11. And Aaron shall bring the calf for his sin, and he shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and he shall kill the calf for his sin-offering.

12. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ഉള്ള തീക്കനല് ഒരു കലശത്തില്നിറെച്ചു സൌരഭ്യമുള്ള ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗചൂര്ണ്ണം കൈനിറയ എടുത്തു തിരശ്ശീലക്കകത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

12. And he shall take his censer full of coals of fire off the altar, which is before the Lord; and he shall fill his hands with fine compound incense, and shall bring it inside the veil.

13. താന് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ധൂപത്തിന്റെ മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്മേലുള്ള കൃപാസനത്തെ മറെപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം തീയില് ഇടേണം.

13. And he shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, and the smoke of the incense shall cover the mercy seat over the tables of testimony, and he shall not die.

14. അവന് കാളയുടെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു വിരല്കൊണ്ടു കിഴക്കോട്ടു കൃപാസനത്തിന്മേല് തളിക്കേണം; അവന് രക്തം കുറെ തന്റെ വിരല്കൊണ്ടു കൃപാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലും ഏഴു പ്രവാശ്യം തളിക്കേണം.

14. And he shall take of the blood of the calf, and sprinkle with his finger on the mercy seat eastward: before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle seven times of the blood with his finger.

15. പിന്നെ അവന് ജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അറുത്തു രക്തം തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കാളയുടെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഇതിന്റെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടും ചെയ്തു അതിനെ കൃപാസനത്തിന്മേലും കൃപാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലും തളിക്കേണം.

15. And he shall kill the goat for the sin-offering that is for the people, before the Lord. And he shall bring in of its blood within the veil, and shall do with its blood as he did with the blood of the calf, and shall sprinkle its blood on the mercy seat, in front of the mercy seat.

16. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അശുദ്ധികള്നിമിത്തവും അവരുടെ സകലപാപവുമായ ലംഘനങ്ങള്നിമിത്തവും അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; അവരുടെ ഇടയില് അവരുടെ അശുദ്ധിയുടെ നടുവില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും അവന് അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്യേണം.

16. And he shall make atonement for the sanctuary on account of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and for their trespasses in the matter of all their sins; and thus shall he do to the tabernacle of witness established among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

17. അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാന് കടന്നിട്ടു പുറത്തു വരുന്നതുവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കരുതു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് തനിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭെക്കും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

17. And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of witness, when he goes in to make atonement in the holy place, until he shall have come out; and he shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and for all the congregation of the children of Israel.

18. പിന്നെ അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിലുള്ള യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കല് ചെന്നു അതിന്നും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം. കാളയുടെ രക്തവും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ രക്തവും കുറേശ്ശ എടുത്തു പീഠത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളില് ചുറ്റും പുരട്ടേണം.

18. And he shall come forth to the altar that is before the Lord, and he shall make atonement upon it; and he shall take of the blood of the calf, and of the blood of the goat, and shall put it on the horns of the altar round about.

19. അവന് രക്തം കുറെ വിരല്കൊണ്ടു ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം അതിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അശുദ്ധികളെ നീക്കി വെടിപ്പാക്കി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

19. And he shall sprinkle some of the blood upon it seven times with his finger, and shall purge it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

20. അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു തീര്ന്നശേഷം ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊണ്ടു വരേണം.

20. And he shall finish making atonement for the sanctuary and for the tabernacle of witness, and for the altar; and he shall make a cleansing for the priests, and he shall bring the living goat;

21. ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ തലയില് അഹരോന് കൈ രണ്ടും വെച്ചു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ എല്ലാകുറ്റങ്ങളും സകലപാപങ്ങളുമായ ലംഘനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ തലയില് ചുമത്തി, നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ആളുടെ കൈവശം അതിനെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു അയക്കേണം.
എബ്രായർ 10:4

21. and Aaron shall lay his hands on the head of the live goat, and he shall declare over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their unrighteousness, and all their sins; and he shall lay them upon the head of the live goat, and shall send him by the hand of a ready man into the wilderness.

22. കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന് അവരുടെ കുറ്റങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തേക്കു ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പോകേണം; അവന് കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ മരുഭൂമിയില് വിടേണം.

22. And the goat shall bear their unrighteousnesses upon him into a desert land; and Aaron shall send away the goat into the wilderness.

23. പിന്നെ അഹരോന് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് വന്നു താന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് കടന്നപ്പോള് ധരിച്ചിരുന്ന പഞ്ഞിനൂല്വസ്ത്രം നീക്കി അവിടെ വെച്ചേക്കണം.

23. And Aaron shall enter into the tabernacle of witness, and shall put off the linen garment, which he had put on, as he entered into the holy place, and shall lay it by there.

24. അവന് ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു ദേഹം കഴുകി സ്വന്തവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു പുറത്തു വന്നു തന്റെ ഹോമയാഗവും ജനത്തിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗവും അര്പ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കും ജനത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

24. And he shall bathe his body in water in the holy place, and shall put on his garments, and shall go out and offer the whole burnt offering for himself and the whole burnt offering for the people: and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and for the people, as for the priests.

25. അവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ മേദസ്സു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

25. And he shall offer the fat for the sin-offering on the altar.

26. ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അസസ്സേലിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വിട്ടവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകീട്ടു മാത്രമേ പാളയത്തില് വരാവു.

26. And he that sends forth the goat that has been set apart to be let go, shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and afterwards shall enter into the camp.

27. വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു രക്തം കൊണ്ടുപോയ പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെയും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം; അവയുടെ തോലും മാംസവും ചാണകവും തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.
എബ്രായർ 13:11-13

27. And the calf for the sin-offering, and the goat for the sin-offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, they shall carry forth out of the camp, and burn them with fire, even their skins and their flesh and their dung.

28. അവയെ ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകീട്ടു മാത്രമേ പാളയത്തില് വരാവു.

28. And he that burns them shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and afterwards he shall enter into the camp.

29. ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി നിങ്ങള് ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യേണം; സ്വദേശിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയും യാതൊരു വേലെയും ചെയ്യരുതു.
പ്രവൃത്തികൾ അപ്പ. പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ 27:9

29. And this shall be a perpetual statute for you; in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls, and shall do no work, the native and the stranger who abides among you.

30. ആ ദിവസത്തില് അല്ലോ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും നീക്കി നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു.
എബ്രായർ 9:7-12-28

30. For in this day he shall make an atonement for you, to cleanse you from all your sins before the Lord, and you shall be purged.

31. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധസ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള ശബ്ബത്ത് ആയിരിക്കേണം. നിങ്ങള് ആത്മ തപനം ചെയ്യേണം; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടമാകുന്നു.

31. This shall be to you a most holy Sabbath, a rest, and you shall humble your souls; it is a perpetual ordinance.

32. അപ്പന്നു പകരം പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്വാന് അഭിഷേകം പ്രാപിക്കയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്ത പുരോഹിതന് തന്നേ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

32. The priest whomsoever they shall anoint shall make atonement, and whomsoever they shall consecrate to exercise the priestly office after his father; and he shall put on the linen robe, the holy garment.

33. അവന് വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രമായ പഞ്ഞിനൂല്വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും സഭയിലെ സകലജനത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

33. And he shall make atonement for the most holy place, and the tabernacle of witness; and he shall make atonement for the altar, and for the priests; and he shall make atonement for all the congregation.

34. സംവത്സരത്തില് ഒരിക്കല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി അവരുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന് ചെയ്തു.
എബ്രായർ 9:7-12-28

34. And this shall be to you a perpetual statute to make atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins: it shall be done once in the year, as the Lord commanded Moses.
