1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സര്വ്വസഭയോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാന് വിശുദ്ധനാകയാല് നിങ്ങളും വിശുദ്ധരായിരിപ്പിന് .

2. Speak unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel and thou shalt say unto them Holy, shall ye be, For holy, am I Yahweh your God

3. നിങ്ങള് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ അമ്മയെയും അപ്പനെയും ഭയപ്പെടേണം; എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകള് പ്രമാണിക്കേണംഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

3. Ye shall, every one, revere, his father and his mother, And my sabbaths, shall ye observe, I Yahweh, am your God.

4. വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയരുതു; ദേവന്മാരെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വാര്ത്തുണ്ടാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

4. Do not turn unto things of nought, And, molten gods, shall ye not make to yourselves, I Yahweh, am your God.

5. യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാനയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

5. And when ye would offer a peach-offering unto Yahweh, ye shall offer it that ye may be accepted.

6. അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന ദിവസവും പിറ്റെന്നാളും അതു തിന്നാം; മൂന്നാം ദിവസംവരെ ശേഷിക്കുന്നതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

6. On the day, ye offer it, shall it be eaten, and on the morrow, but, that which remaineth until the third day, in fire, shall be consumed.

7. മൂന്നാം ദിവസം തിന്നു എന്നു വരികില് അതു അറെപ്പാകുന്നു; പ്രസാദമാകയില്ല.

7. And, if it, be eaten, on the third day, unclean, it is it shall not be accepted,

8. അതു തിന്നുന്നവന് കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും; യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായതു അവന് അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയല്ലോ; അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

8. But he that eateth it, his iniquity, shall bear, because that which had been hallowed unto Yahweh, hath he profaned, so then that person shall be cut off from among his kinsfolk.

9. നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലത്തിലെ വിള നിങ്ങള് കൊയ്യുമ്പോള് വയലിന്റെ അരികു തീര്ത്തുകൊയ്യരുതു; നിന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തില് കാലാ പെറുക്കയും അരുതു.

9. And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly clear the border of thy field, in reaping, nor shalt thou gather up the gleaning of thy harvest.

10. നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തില് കാലാ പറിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തില് വീണുകിടക്കുന്ന പഴം പെറുക്കയും അരുതു. അവയെ ദരിദ്രന്നും പരദേശിക്കും വിട്ടേക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

10. And, thy vineyard, shalt thou not go over again, nor gather, every single grape: for the poor and for the sojourner, shalt thou leave them, I Yahweh, am your God.

11. മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു, ചതിക്കരുതു, ഒരുത്തനോടു ഒരുത്തന് ഭോഷകു പറയരുതു.

11. Ye shall not steal, nor deceive nor lie one man to another;

12. എന്റെ നാമത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു കള്ളസ്സത്യം ചെയ്തു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

12. Nor swear by my name falsely, And so profane the name of thy God: I, am Yahweh.

13. ചെകിടനെ ശപിക്കരുതു; കുരുടന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇടര്ച്ച വെക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

13. Thou shalt not oppress thy neighbour nor rob him , The wages of him that is hired shall not tarry with thee, until the morning.

14. ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തില് അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു; എളിയവന്റെ മുഖം നോക്കാതെയും വലിയവന്റെ മുഖം ആദരിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു നീതിയോടെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കേണം.

14. Thou shalt not curse the deaf, Nor, before the blind, place a stumbling-block, So shalt thou stand in awe of thy God I, am Yahweh.

15. നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില് ഏഷണി പറഞ്ഞു നടക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ മരണത്തിന്നായി നിഷ്കര്ഷിക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

15. Ye shall not act perversely in giving judgment, Thou shalt neither respect the person of the poor, Nor prefer the person of the great, In righteousness, shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

16. സഹോദരനെ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദ്വേഷിക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ പാപം നിന്റെ മേല് വരാതിരിപ്പാന് അവനെ താല്പര്യമായി ശാസിക്കേണം. പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യരുതു.

16. Thou shalt not go about talebearing, among thy people Thou shalt not stand by, over the blood of thy neighbour: I, am Yahweh.

17. നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മക്കളോടു പക വെക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

17. Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart, Thou shalt, faithfully reprove, thy neighbour, and not countenance him in sin:

18. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങള് പ്രമാണിക്കേണം. രണ്ടുതരം മൃഗങ്ങളെ തമ്മില് ഇണ ചേര്ക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ വയലില് കൂട്ടുവിത്തു വിതെക്കരുതു; രണ്ടു വക സാധനം കലര്ന്ന വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കരുതു.

18. Thou shalt not take vengeance neither shalt thou cherish anger against the sons of thy people, So shalt thou love thy neighbour as thyself, I, am Yahweh.

19. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു നിയമിച്ചവളും വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടുകയോ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്തവളുമായ ഒരു ദാസിയോടുകൂടെ ഒരുത്തന് ശയിച്ചാല് അവരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കേണം. എന്നാല് അവള് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമില്ലാത്തവളായാല് അവരെ കൊല്ലരുതു;

19. My statutes, shall ye observe, Thy beasts, shalt thou not cause to breed in two kinds, Thy field, shalt thou not sow with two sorts of seed, And a garment woven of diverse threads, shalt thou not suffer to come upon thee.

20. അവന് ചെയ്ത പാപത്തിന്നായി പുരോഹിതന് അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്റെ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്നു വേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അവന് ചെയ്തപാപം അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

20. And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, she being a bondmaid, acquired for a husband, and neither, redeemed, nor, freedom, given her, inquisition, shall be made they shall not be put to death, because she was not free;

21. നിങ്ങള് ദേശത്തു എത്തി ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു ഉതകുന്ന സകലവിധവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നട്ടശേഷം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവയുടെ ഫലം പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കു പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്തതു പോലെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അതു തിന്നരുതു.

21. but he shall bring in his guilt-bearer unto Yahweh, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, even a ram as a guilt-bearer;

22. നാലാം സംവത്സരത്തില് അതിന്റെ ഫലമെല്ലാം യഹോവയുടെ സ്തോത്രത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

22. and the priest shall put propitiatory-covering over him with the guilt-bearing ram before Yahweh, on account of his sin which he hath committed, so shall he have forgiveness, from his sin which he hath committed.

23. അഞ്ചാം സംവത്സരത്തിലോ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അതിന്റെ ഫലം തിന്നാം; അങ്ങനെ അതിന്റെ അനുഭവം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വര്ദ്ധിച്ചുവരും; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

23. And when ye come into the land, and plant any manner of fruit-tree, then shall ye count as uncircumcised the fruit thereof, three years, shall it be to you as if unclean, it shall not be eaten.

24. രക്തത്തോടുകൂടിയുള്ളതു തിന്നരുതു; ആഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു; മുഹൂര്ത്തം നോക്കരുതു;

24. But, in the fourth year, all the fruit thereof shall be hallowed for a festival of thanksgiving unto Yahweh.

25. നിങ്ങളുടെ തലമുടി ചുറ്റും വിളുമ്പു വടിക്കരുതു; താടിയുടെ അറ്റം വിരൂപമാക്കരുതു.

25. And in the fifth year, shall ye eat the fruit thereof, that it may enrich you with its increase, I Yahweh, am your God.

26. മരിച്ചവന്നുവേണ്ടി ശരീരത്തില് മുറിവുണ്ടാക്കരുതു; മെയ്മേല് പച്ചകുത്തരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

26. Ye shall eat nothing with the blood thereof, Ye shall not practise divination neither shall ye use magic.

27. ദേശം വേശ്യാവൃത്തി ചെയ്തു ദുഷ്കര്മ്മംകൊണ്ടു നിറയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ മകളെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിക്കു ഏല്പിക്കരുതു.

27. Ye shall not shave in a circle around your head, nor shalt thou disfigure the fringe of thy beard.

28. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകള് പ്രമാണിക്കയും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തോടു ഭയഭക്തിയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കയും വേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

28. Cuttings for a dead person, shall ye not make in your flesh. And punctures in your persons, shall ye not print, I, am Yahweh.

29. വെളിച്ചപ്പാടന്മാരുടെയും മന്ത്രവാദികളുടെയും അടുക്കല് പോകരുതു. അവരാല് അശുദ്ധരായ്തീരുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവരെ അന്വേഷിക്കയും അരുതു. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

29. Do not profane thy daughter by causing her to be unchaste, lest the land fall to unchastity, and so the land be filled with wickedness.

30. നരച്ചവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കയും വൃദ്ധന്റെ മുഖം ബഹുമാനിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും വേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

30. My sabbaths, shall ye observe, And my sanctuary, shall ye revere, I, am Yahweh.

31. പരദേശി നിന്നോടുകൂടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു പാര്ത്താല് അവനെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കരുതു.

31. Do not turn unto mediums, Nor, for oracles, make search, To render yourselves unclean with them, I Yahweh, am your God.

32. നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്വദേശിയെപ്പോലെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങളും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു പരദേശികളായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

32. Before a hoary head, shalt thou rise up, And shalt honour the presence of an elder, So shalt thou stand in awe of thy God I, am Yahweh.

33. ന്യായ വിസ്താരത്തിലും അളവിലും തൂക്കത്തിലും നിങ്ങള് അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു.

33. And, when there sojourneth with thee a sojourner in your land, ye shall not oppress him:

34. ഒത്ത തുലാസ്സും ഒത്ത കട്ടിയും ഒത്ത പറയും ഒത്ത ഇടങ്ങഴിയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

34. As one home born from among yourselves, shall be unto you the sojourner who sojourneth with you, So shalt thou love him as thyself, For, sojourners, became ye, in the land of Egypt, I Yahweh, am your God.

35. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ എല്ലാ ചട്ടങ്ങളും സകലവിധികളും പ്രമാണിച്ചു അനുസരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

35. Ye shall not act perversely in giving judgment, in measures of extent, in weights in measures of capacity:
