1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2. ദീപങ്ങള് നിത്യം കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് നിലവിളക്കിന്നു ഇടിച്ചെടുത്ത തെളിവുള്ള ഒലിവെണ്ണ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണമെന്നു അവരോടു കല്പിക്ക.

2. Command the sons of Israel, That they bring unto thee pure oil olive, beaten, for giving light, to cause the lamp to burn up continually.

3. സാമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തു വൈകുന്നേരം മുതല് രാവിലെവരെ കത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോന് അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിലയില് നിത്യം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആകുന്നു.

3. Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron order it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh continually, a statute age-abiding, to your generations.

4. അവന് നിത്യവും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്മേല് ദീപങ്ങള് ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

4. Upon the pure lampstand, shall he order the lamps, before Yahweh, continually.

5. നീ നേരിയ മാവു എടുത്തു അതുകൊണ്ടു പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദോശ ചുടേണം; ഔരോ ദോശ രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ടു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

5. And thou shalt take fine meal, and bake it, in twelve cakes, of two-tenths, shall each cake be.

6. അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് തങ്കമേശമേല് രണ്ടു അടുക്കായിട്ടു ഔരോ അടുക്കില് ആറാറുവീതം വെക്കേണം.

6. And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table, before Yahweh.

7. ഔരോ അടുക്കിന്മേല് നിര്മ്മലമായ കുന്തുരുക്കം വെക്കേണം; അതു അപത്തിന്മേല് നിവേദ്യമായി യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായിരിക്കേണം.

7. And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, so shall it belong unto the bread as a memorial, an altar-flame unto Yahweh.

8. അവന് അതു നിത്യനിയമമായിട്ടു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു വാങ്ങി ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിരന്തരമായി അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

8. Sabbath day by sabbath day, shall he order it before Yahweh continually, from the sons of Israel as an age-abiding covenant:

9. അതു അഹരോന്നും പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഉള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവര് അതു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു വെച്ചു തിന്നേണം; അതു അവന്നു ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളില് അതിവിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

9. so shall it be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, for most holy, shall it be unto him from among the altar-flames of Yahweh, a statute age-abiding.

10. അനന്തരം ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യ സ്ത്രീയുടെയും ഒരു മിസ്രയീമ്യന്റെയും മകനായ ഒരുത്തന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ ഈ മകനും ഒരു യിസ്രാല്യേനും തമ്മില് പാളയത്തില്വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠയിട്ടു.

10. And forth went the son of a woman of Israel he being the son of a man of Egypt in the midst of the sons of Israel;

11. യിസ്രയേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകന് തിരുനാമം ദുഷിച്ചു ശപിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് അവനെ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ശെലോമിത്ത് എന്നു പേര്. അവള് ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ദിബ്രി എന്നൊരുവന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

11. and the son of the woman of Israel, and a man of Israel, reviled one another in the camp. And the son of the Israelitish woman uttered contemptuously the Name, and reviled. So they brought him in unto Moses, now, the name of his mother, was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;

12. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് അവനെ തടവില് വെച്ചു.

12. and they put him in ward, that a clear answer might be given to them at the mouth of Yahweh.

13. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

13. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

14. ശപിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോക; കേട്ടവര് എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ തലയില് കൈവെച്ചശേഷം സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം.

14. Bring forth him that reviled unto the out-side of the camp, then shall all that heard him lean their hands upon his head, and all the assembly shall stone him.

15. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു നി പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ശപിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കും.

15. And, unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak saying, What man soever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

16. യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിയേണം; പരദേശിയാകട്ടേ സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ തിരുനാമത്തെ ദുഷിക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

16. And, he that contemptuously uttereth the name of Yahweh, shall be, surely put to death, all the assembly shall, surely stone, him, as the sojourner so the home-born, when he contemptuously-uttereth the Name, he shall be put to death.

17. മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.
മത്തായി 5:21

17. And, when, any man, by smiting taketh the life of any human being, he shall be surely put to death,

18. മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മൃഗത്തിന്നു പകരം മൃഗത്തെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

18. And he that by smiting taketh away the life of a beast, shall make it good, life for life.

19. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു കേടു വരുത്തിയാല് അവന് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവനോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

19. And, when, any man, inflicteth a blemish upon his neighbour, as he hath done, so, shall it be done to him:

20. ഒടിവിന്നു പകരം ഒടിവു, കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു, പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് മറ്റേവന്നു കേടുവരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന്നും വരുത്തേണം.

20. fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he inflicteth a blemish upon a human being, so, shall one be inflicted upon him.

21. മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് അതിന്നു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

21. And he that killeth a beast, shall make it good, and he that killeth a human being, shall be put to death.

22. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പരദേശിക്കും സ്വദേശിക്കും ഒരു പ്രമാണം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

22. One rule, shall ye have, as the sojourner, so the home-born, shall be, For, I Yahweh, am your God.

23. ദുഷിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുപൊയി കല്ലെറിയേണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ചെയ്തു.

23. So then Moses spake unto the sons of Israel, and they took forth the reviler, unto the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus, the sons of Israel did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
