1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Lord said to Moses,

2. ദീപങ്ങള് നിത്യം കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് നിലവിളക്കിന്നു ഇടിച്ചെടുത്ത തെളിവുള്ള ഒലിവെണ്ണ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണമെന്നു അവരോടു കല്പിക്ക.

2. Give orders to the children of Israel to give you clean olive oil for the light, so that a light may be burning at all times,

3. സാമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തു വൈകുന്നേരം മുതല് രാവിലെവരെ കത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോന് അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിലയില് നിത്യം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആകുന്നു.

3. Outside the veil of the ark in the Tent of meeting; let Aaron see that it is burning from evening till morning at all times before the Lord: it is a rule for ever through all your generations.

4. അവന് നിത്യവും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്മേല് ദീപങ്ങള് ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

4. Let Aaron put the lights in order on the support before the Lord at all times.

5. നീ നേരിയ മാവു എടുത്തു അതുകൊണ്ടു പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദോശ ചുടേണം; ഔരോ ദോശ രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ടു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

5. And take the best meal and make twelve cakes of it, a fifth part of an ephah in every cake.

6. അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് തങ്കമേശമേല് രണ്ടു അടുക്കായിട്ടു ഔരോ അടുക്കില് ആറാറുവീതം വെക്കേണം.

6. And put them in two lines, six in a line, on the holy table before the Lord.

7. ഔരോ അടുക്കിന്മേല് നിര്മ്മലമായ കുന്തുരുക്കം വെക്കേണം; അതു അപത്തിന്മേല് നിവേദ്യമായി യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായിരിക്കേണം.

7. And on the lines of cakes put clean sweet-smelling spices, for a sign on the bread, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

8. അവന് അതു നിത്യനിയമമായിട്ടു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു വാങ്ങി ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിരന്തരമായി അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

8. Every Sabbath day regularly, the priest is to put it in order before the Lord: it is offered for the children of Israel, an agreement made for ever.

9. അതു അഹരോന്നും പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഉള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവര് അതു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു വെച്ചു തിന്നേണം; അതു അവന്നു ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളില് അതിവിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

9. And it will be for Aaron and his sons; they are to take it for food in a holy place: it is the most holy of all the offerings made by fire to the Lord, a rule for ever.

10. അനന്തരം ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യ സ്ത്രീയുടെയും ഒരു മിസ്രയീമ്യന്റെയും മകനായ ഒരുത്തന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ ഈ മകനും ഒരു യിസ്രാല്യേനും തമ്മില് പാളയത്തില്വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠയിട്ടു.

10. And a son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel and had a fight with a man of Israel by the tents;

11. യിസ്രയേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകന് തിരുനാമം ദുഷിച്ചു ശപിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് അവനെ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ശെലോമിത്ത് എന്നു പേര്. അവള് ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ദിബ്രി എന്നൊരുവന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

11. And the son of the Israelite woman said evil against the holy Name, with curses; and they took him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

12. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് അവനെ തടവില് വെച്ചു.

12. And they kept him shut up, till a decision might be given by the mouth of the Lord.

13. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

13. And the Lord said to Moses,

14. ശപിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോക; കേട്ടവര് എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ തലയില് കൈവെച്ചശേഷം സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം.

14. Take the curser outside the tent-circle; and let all in whose hearing the words were said put their hands on his head, and let him be stoned by all the people.

15. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു നി പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ശപിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കും.

15. And say to the children of Israel, As for any man cursing God, his sin will be on his head.

16. യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിയേണം; പരദേശിയാകട്ടേ സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ തിരുനാമത്തെ ദുഷിക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

16. And he who says evil against the name of the Lord will certainly be put to death; he will be stoned by all the people; the man who is not of your nation and one who is an Israelite by birth, whoever says evil against the holy Name is to be put to death.

17. മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.
മത്തായി 5:21

17. And anyone who takes another's life is certainly to be put to death.

18. മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മൃഗത്തിന്നു പകരം മൃഗത്തെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

18. And anyone wounding a beast and causing its death, will have to make payment for it: a life for a life.

19. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു കേടു വരുത്തിയാല് അവന് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവനോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

19. And if a man does damage to his neighbour, as he has done, so let it be done to him;

20. ഒടിവിന്നു പകരം ഒടിവു, കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു, പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് മറ്റേവന്നു കേടുവരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന്നും വരുത്തേണം.

20. Wound for wound, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever damage he has done, so let it be done to him.

21. മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് അതിന്നു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

21. He who puts a beast to death will have to make payment for it; he who puts a man to death will himself be put to death.

22. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പരദേശിക്കും സ്വദേശിക്കും ഒരു പ്രമാണം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

22. You are to have the same law for a man of another nation living among you as for an Israelite; for I am the Lord your God.

23. ദുഷിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുപൊയി കല്ലെറിയേണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ചെയ്തു.

23. And Moses said these words to the children of Israel, and they took the man who had been cursing outside the tent-circle and had him stoned. The children of Israel did as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
