1. യഹോവ സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതതുശബ്ബത്തു ആചരിക്കേണം.

1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses in Mount Sinai, saying,

2. ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെക്കേണം; അവ്വണ്ണം ആറു സംവത്സരം നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം വള്ളിത്തല മുറിച്ചു അനുഭവം എടുക്കേണം.

2. Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When you come into the land which I am giving to you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to Jehovah.

3. ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തിലോ ദേശത്തിന്നു സ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായ യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ നിലം വിതെക്കയും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കയും ചെയ്യരുതു.

3. You shall sow your field six years, and you shall prune your vineyard six years, and shall gather its produce.

4. ദേശത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തില് താനേ വിളയുന്നതു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം; നിനക്കും നിന്റെ ദാസന്നും ദാസിക്കും കൂലിക്കാരന്നും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിക്കും

4. And in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest to the land, a sabbath to Jehovah. You shall not sow your field, and you shall not prune your vineyard.

5. നിന്റെ കന്നുകാലിക്കും കാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ അനുഭവം ഒക്കെയും ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം.

5. You shall not reap that which grows of itself of your harvest; and you shall not gather the grapes of your unkept vine; it shall be a year of rest to the land.

6. പിന്നെ ഏഴു ശബ്ബത്താണ്ടായ ഏഴേഴുസംവത്സരം എണ്ണേണം; അങ്ങനെ ഏഴു സബ്ബത്താണ്ടായ നാല്പത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിയേണം.

6. And the sabbath of the land shall be to you for food, to you, and to your male slave, and to your female slave, and to your hired one, and to your tenant, those living among you;

7. അപ്പോള് ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി മഹാധ്വനികാഹളം ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണം; പാപപരിഹാരദിവസത്തില് നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും കാഹളം ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണം.

7. and to your livestock, and to the animal in your land, all its produce shall be for food.

8. അമ്പതാം സംവത്സരത്തെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു ദേശത്തെല്ലാടവും സകലനിവാസികള്ക്കും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കേണം; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യോബേല്സംവത്സരമായിരിക്കേണംനിങ്ങള് താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം; ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിലേക്കും മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.

8. And you shall number to yourself seven sabbaths of years, seven years times seven, and all the days of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty nine years.

9. അമ്പതാം സംവത്സരം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യോബേല് സംവത്സരമായിരിക്കേണം; അതില് നിങ്ങള് വിതെക്കയോ പടുവിളവു കൊയ്കയോ വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കാത്ത മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ പഴം പറിക്കയോ ചെയ്യരുതു.

9. And you shall let a ram's horn resound, a signal in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month; in the day of atonement, let a ram's horn pass throughout all your land;

10. അതു യോബേല്സംവത്സരം ആകുന്നു; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം; ആയാണ്ടത്തെ അനുഭവം നിങ്ങള് വയലില് നിന്നുതന്നേ എടുത്തു തിന്നേണം.

10. and you shall make the fiftieth year holy, one year. And you shall proclaim liberty in the land to those living in it; it shall be a jubilee to you. And you shall return every man to his possession; yea, you shall turn back each to his family.

11. ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള യോബേല് സംവത്സരത്തില് നിങ്ങള് താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.

11. It is a jubilee, the fiftieth year; it is a year to you. You shall not sow, nor reap that which grows of itself, nor gather from its unkept vines;

12. കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു എന്തെങ്കിലും വില്ക്കയോ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു എന്തെങ്കിലും വാങ്ങുകയോ ചെയ്താല് നിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് തമ്മില് അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു.

12. for it is a jubilee, it is holy to you; you shall eat its increase out of the field.

13. യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തിന്റെ പിമ്പുള്ള സംവത്സരങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യകൂ ഒത്തവണ്ണം നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു വാങ്ങേണം; അനുഭവമുള്ള സംവത്സരങ്ങളുടെ സംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന് നിനക്കു വില്ക്കേണം.

13. In the year of jubilee you shall return each one to his possession.

14. സംവത്സരങ്ങള് ഏറിയിരുന്നാല് വില ഉയര്ത്തേണം; സംവത്സരങ്ങള് കുറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാല് വില താഴ്ത്തേണം; അനുഭവത്തിന്റെ കാലസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന് നിനക്കു വിലക്കുന്നു.

14. And if you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from the hand of your neighbor, you shall not each man oppress his brother.

15. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് തമ്മില് അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണംഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

15. By the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor; by the number of the years of increase he shall sell to you;

16. അതു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ കല്പനകള് അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ വിധികള് പ്രമാണിച്ചു ആചരിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ദേശത്തു നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും.

16. according to the many years you shall increase its price; and by the fewness of the years you shall diminish its price, for he is selling to you the number of crops.

17. ഭൂമി അതിന്റെ ഫലം തരും; നിങ്ങള് തൃപ്തിയായി ഭക്ഷിച്ചു അതില് നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും.

17. And you shall not oppress each man his neighbor, and you shall fear your God, for I am Jehovah your God.

18. എന്നാല് ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് എന്തു ഭക്ഷിക്കും? ഞങ്ങള് വിതെക്കയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അനുഭവമെടുക്കയും ചെയ്യരുതല്ലോ എന്നു നിങ്ങള പറയുന്നുവെങ്കില്

18. And you shall do My statutes, and you shall keep my judgments and shall do them; and you shall live on the land securely.

19. ഞാന് ആറാം സംവത്സരത്തില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം അരുളുകയും അതു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കുള്ള അനുഭവം തരികയും ചെയ്യും.

19. And the land shall give its fruit, and you shall eat to satisfaction; and you shall dwell securely on it.

20. നിലം ജന്മം വില്ക്കരുതു; ദേശം എനിക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ അടുക്കല് പരദേശികളും വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരും അത്രേ.

20. And when you say, What shall we eat in the seventh year; for, lo, we may not sow nor gather our increase?

21. നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമായ ദേശത്തൊക്കെയും നിലത്തിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു സമ്മതിക്കേണം.

21. Then I have commanded My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall produce the increase for three years;

22. നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദിരദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു തന്റെ അവകാശത്തില് ഏതാനും വിറ്റാല് അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരന് വന്നു സഹോദരന് വിറ്റതു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം.

22. and you shall sow the eighth year, and shall eat of the old crop until the ninth year, until the coming in of its crop; you shall eat of the old.

23. എന്നാല് വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാന് അവന്നു ആരും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കയും താന് തന്നേ വകയുള്ളവനായി വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാന് പ്രാപ്തനാകയും ചെയ്താല്

23. And the land shall not be sold in perpetuity; for the land is Mine; for you are aliens and tenants with Me.

24. അവന് അതു വിറ്റശേഷമുള്ള സംവത്സരം കണക്കുകൂട്ടി മിച്ചമുള്ളതു അതു വാങ്ങിയിരുന്ന ആള്ക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരേണം.

24. And you shall grant a redemption for the land in all the land of your possession.

25. എന്നാല് മടക്കിക്കൊടുപ്പാന് അവന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയില്ല എങ്കില് വിറ്റുപോയ യോബേല് സംവത്സരംവരെ വാങ്ങിയവന്റെ കയ്യില് ഇരിക്കേണം; യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് അതു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കയും അവന് തന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരികയും വേണം.

25. If your brother has become poor and has sold his property, then comes one to redeem, a relative of him, and he redeems the thing sold by his brother.

26. ഒരുത്തന് മതിലുള്ള പട്ടണത്തില് ഒരു വീടു വിറ്റാല് വിറ്റശേഷം ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകം അവന്നു അതു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളാം; വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുവാന് ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തെ അവധി ഉണ്ടു.

26. But a man, when there is not one to redeem him, and his own hand has reached out, and he has enough for its redemption,

27. ഒരു സംവത്സരം മുഴുവനും തികയുവോളം വീണ്ടുകൊണ്ടില്ലെങ്കില് മതിലുള്ള പട്ടണത്തിലെ വീടു, വാങ്ങിയവന്നു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കേണം; യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് അതു ഒ ഴുഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.

27. then he shall count the years since its sale, and shall give back the surplus to the man to whom he sold; and he shall return to his possession.

28. മതിലില്ലാത്ത ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകളോ ദേശത്തുള്ള നിലത്തിന്നു സമമായി വിചാരിക്കേണം; അവേക്കു വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു ഉണ്ടു; യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് അവയെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണം.

28. And if his hand has not found enough to give back to him, then the thing he sold shall be in the hand of him who buys it until the year of jubilee. And it shall go out in the jubilee, and he shall return to his possession.

29. എന്നാല് ലേവ്യരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവരുടെ അവകാശമായ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകളും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളാം.

29. And when a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then his right of redemption shall be the end of the year of its sale; his right of redemption shall be a year of days.

30. ലേവ്യരില് ഒരുത്തന് വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നു എങ്കില് വിറ്റുപോയ വീടും അവന്റെ അവകാശമായ പട്ടണവും യോബേല്സംവത്സരത്തില് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കേണം; ലേവ്യരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ വീടുകള് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവര്ക്കുംള്ള അവകാശമല്ലോ.

30. And if it is not redeemed until a full year is complete, then the house in the walled city shall be established to perpetuity to its buyer, throughout his generations; it shall not go out in the jubilee.

31. എന്നാല് അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്ന പുല്പുറമായ ഭൂമി വില്ക്കരുതു; അതു അവര്ക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശം ആകുന്നു.

31. But the houses of the villages which have no walls all around shall be counted as the field of the country; there are redemption rights to it. And it shall go out in the jubilee.

32. നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദരിദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വെച്ചു ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയാല് നീ അവനെ താങ്ങേണം; അന്യനും പരദേശിയും എന്നപോലെ അവന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കേണം.

32. As to the cities of the Levites, houses of the cities of their possession, never ending redemption rights shall be to the Levites.

33. അവനോടു പലിശയും ലാഭവും വാങ്ങരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം; നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കേണം.

33. And that which one redeems from the Levites, both the sale of a house, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the jubilee. For the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession in the midst of the sons of Israel.

34. നിന്റെ പണം പലിശെക്കു കൊടുക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ആഹാരം അവന്നു ലാഭത്തിന്നായി കൊടുക്കയും അരുതു.

34. And the field, the open land of their cities, shall not be sold; for it is a never ending possession to them.

35. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കനാന് ദേശം തരുവാനും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായിരിപ്പാനും നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

35. And when your brother has become poor, and his hand has failed with you, then you shall help him. He shall live with you as an alien and a tenant.

36. നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദരിദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു തന്നെത്താന് നിനക്കു വിറ്റാല് അവനെ കൊണ്ടു അടിമവേല ചെയ്യിക്കരുതു.

36. You shall take no interest or increase from him, and you shall fear your God; and the life of your brother is with you.

37. കൂലിക്കാരന് എന്നപോലെയും വന്നുപാര്ക്കുംന്നവന് എന്നപോലെയും അവന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഇരുന്നു യോബേല്സംവത്സരംവരെ നിന്നെ സേവിക്കേണം.

37. You shall not give silver to him with interest, and you shall not give your food for increase.

38. പിന്നെ അവന് തന്റെ മക്കളുമായി നിന്നെ വിട്ടുതന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം; തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു അവന് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണം.

38. I am Jehovah who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give to you the land of Canaan, to become your God.

39. അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാര് ആകകൊണ്ടു അവരെ അടിമകളായി വില്ക്കരുതു.

39. And when your brother becomes poor with you, and he has been sold to you, you shall not lay on him the service of a slave.

40. അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം.

40. He shall be with you as a hireling, as a tenant he shall be with you; he shall serve with you until the year of jubilee;

41. നിന്റെ അടിയാരും അടിയാട്ടികളും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളില്നിന്നു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവരില്നിന്നു അടിയാരെയും അടയാട്ടികളെയും കൊള്ളേണം.

41. then he shall go out from you, he and his sons with him, and shall return to his family; he shall even return to the possession of his father.

42. അവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ മക്കളില്നിന്നും അവര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു ജനിപ്പിച്ചവരും നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനുമായ അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളില്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള് വാങ്ങേണം; അവര് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവകാശമായിരിക്കേണം;

42. For they are My servants, whom I have brought out from the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold with the sale of a slave.

43. നിങ്ങളുടെ ശേഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കും അവകാശമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിലങ്ങള് അവരെ അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളേണം; അവര് എന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അടിമകളായിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളായ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടോ നിങ്ങള് കാഠിന്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു.
കൊലൊസ്സ്യർ കൊളോസോസ് 4:1

43. You shall not rule over him with severity, and you shall fear your God.

44. നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പരദേശിയോ അന്യനോ സമ്പന്നനാകയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് ദരിദ്രനായ്തീര്ന്നു തന്നെത്താന് അന്യന്നോ പരദേശിക്കോ അന്യന്റെ സന്തതിക്കോ വില്ക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

44. And your male slave and your female slave whom you have shall be from the nations who are all around you, you shall buy them as male slave or female slave;

45. അവന് തന്നെത്താന് വിറ്റശേഷം അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന്നു അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം.

45. and also you may buy of the sons of the tenants who are residing with you, and of their families who are with you, which they have fathered in your land. And they shall be a possession to you.

46. അവന്റെ പിതൃവ്യന്നോ പിതൃവ്യന്റെ പുത്രന്നോ അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അല്ലെങ്കില് അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തില് അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരില് ഒരുത്തന്നു അവനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം; അവന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുണ്ടെങ്കില് തന്നെത്താന് വീണ്ടെടുക്കാം.

46. And you shall take them for inheritance to your sons after you, to hold for a possession; you may lay service on them forever. But on your brothers, the sons of Israel, one over another, you shall not rule over him with severity.

47. അവന് തന്നെ വിറ്റ സംവത്സരം മുതല് യോബേല്സംവത്സരംവരെയുള്ള കാലക്കണകൂ തന്നെ വാങ്ങിയവനുമായി കൂട്ടിനോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ വില സംവത്സരസംഖ്യെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവന് ഒരു കൂലിക്കാരന്റെ കാലത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കേണം.

47. And if an alien or a tenant lifts up a hand with you, and your brother grows poor with him, and he sells himself to an alien, a tenant with you, or to the offshoot of the family of an alien,

48. സംവത്സരം ഏറെയുണ്ടെങ്കില് അതിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് തന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില തനിക്കു കിട്ടിയ പണത്തില്നിന്നു മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.

48. after he has been sold, there is a redemption to him; one of his brothers may redeem him,

49. യോബേല്സംവത്സരംവരെ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന സംവത്സരം കുറെ മാത്രം എങ്കില് അവനുമായി കണക്കുകൂട്ടി സംവത്സരങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം തന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.

49. or his uncle, or a son of his uncle, may redeem him, or any of his fleshly relations of his family may redeem him. Or, if his own hand has reached out to gain, then he may be redeemed.

50. അവന് ആണ്ടോടാണ്ടു കൂലിക്കാരന് എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഇരിക്കേണം; നീ കാണ്കെ അവന് അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കരുതു.

50. And he shall count with his buyer from the year of his being sold to him until the year of jubilee, and the silver of his sale shall be by the number of years. As the days of a hireling, it shall be with him.

51. ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടാതെയിരുന്നാല് അവനും അവനോടു കൂടെ അവന്റെ മക്കളും യോബേല് സംവത്സരത്തില് പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകേണം.

51. If there are yet many years, by mouth he shall give back his redemption, from the silver of his purchase.

52. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് എനിക്കു ദാസന്മാര് ആകുന്നു; അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഞാന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

52. And if few are left of the years till the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him according to his years he shall give back his redemption price.
