1. “നിങ്ങള് വിധിക്കപ്പെടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിധിക്കരുതു.

1. 'Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.

2. നിങ്ങള് വിധിക്കുന്ന വിധിയാല് നിങ്ങളെയും വിധിക്കും; നിങ്ങള് അളക്കുന്ന അളവിനാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കും അളന്നു കിട്ടും.

2. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

3. എന്നാല് സ്വന്തകണ്ണിലെ കോല് ഔര്ക്കാതെ സഹോദരന്റെ കണ്ണിലെ കരടു നോക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

3. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?

4. അല്ല, സ്വന്ത കണ്ണില് കോല് ഇരിക്കെ നീ സഹോദരനോടുനില്ലു, നിന്റെ കണ്ണില് നിന്നു കരടു എടുത്തുകളയട്ടേ, എന്നു പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

4. Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

5. കപട ഭക്തിക്കാരാ, മുമ്പെ സ്വന്തകണ്ണില്നിന്നു കോല് എടുത്തുകളക; പിന്നെ സഹോദരന്റെ കണ്ണില് കരടു എടുത്തുകളവാന് വെടിപ്പായി കാണും.

5. You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

6. വിശുദ്ധമായതു നായ്ക്കള്ക്കു കൊടുക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ മുത്തുകളെ പന്നികളുടെ മുമ്പില് ഇടുകയുമരുതു; അവ കാല്കൊണ്ടു അവ ചവിട്ടുകയും തിരിഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങളെ ചീന്തിക്കളകയും ചെയ്വാന് ഇടവരരുതു.

6. 'Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

7. യാചിപ്പിന് എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കിട്ടും; അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടെത്തും; മുട്ടുവിന് എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തുറക്കും.

7. 'Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.

8. യാചിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നു; അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന് കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു; മുട്ടുന്നവന്നു തുറക്കും.

8. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

9. മകന് അപ്പം ചോദിച്ചാല് അവന്നു കല്ലു കൊടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് നിങ്ങളില് ആരുള്ളൂ?

9. Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?

10. മീന് ചോദിച്ചാല് അവന്നു പാമ്പിനെ കൊടുക്കുമോ?

10. Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent?

11. അങ്ങനെ ദോഷികളായ നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കു നല്ല ദാനങ്ങളെ കൊടുപ്പാന് അറിയുന്നു എങ്കില് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു തന്നോടു യാചിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും നന്മ എത്ര അധികം കൊടുക്കും!

11. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

12. മനുഷ്യര് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഇച്ഛിക്കന്നതു ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള് അവര്ക്കും ചെയ്വിന് ; ന്യായപ്രമാണവും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഇതു തന്നേ.

12. Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

13. ഇടുക്കുവാതിലൂടെ അകത്തു കടപ്പിന് ; നാശത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന വാതില് വീതിയുള്ളതും വഴി വിശാലവും അതില്കൂടി കടക്കുന്നവര് അനേകരും ആകുന്നു.

13. 'Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.

14. ജീവങ്കലേക്കു പോകുന്ന വാതില് ഇടുക്കവും വഴി ഞെരുക്കവുമുള്ളതു; അതു കണ്ടെത്തുന്നവര് ചുരുക്കമത്രേ.

14. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.

15. കള്ള പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; അവര് ആടുകളുടെ വേഷം പൂണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നു; അകമെയോ കടിച്ചുകീറുന്ന ചെന്നായ്ക്കള് ആകുന്നു.

15. 'Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.

16. അവരുടെ ഫലങ്ങളാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയാം; മുള്ളുകളില്നിന്നു മുന്തിരിപ്പഴവും ഞെരിഞ്ഞിലുകളില്നിന്നു അത്തിപ്പഴവും പറിക്കുമാറുണ്ടോ?

16. By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

17. നല്ല വൃക്ഷം ഒക്കെയും നല്ല ഫലം കായക്കുന്നു; ആകാത്ത വൃക്ഷമോ ആകാത്ത ഫലം കായക്കുന്നു.

17. Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.

18. നല്ല വൃക്ഷത്തിന്നു ആകാത്ത ഫലവും ആകാത്ത വൃക്ഷത്തിന്നു നല്ല ഫലവും കായ്പ്ാന് കഴിയില്ല.

18. A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

19. നല്ല ഫലം കായ്ക്കാത്തവൃക്ഷം ഒക്കെയും വെട്ടി തീയില് ഇടുന്നു.

19. Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.

20. ആകയാല് അവരുടെ ഫലത്താല് നിങ്ങള് അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയും.

20. Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.

21. എന്നോടു കര്ത്താവേ, കര്ത്താവേ, എന്നു പറയുന്നവന് ഏവനുമല്ല, സ്വര്ഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവന് അത്രേ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തില് കടക്കുന്നതു.

21. Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22. കര്ത്താവേ, കര്ത്താവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് പ്രവചിക്കയും നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുകയും നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് വളരെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്തില്ലയോ എന്നു പലരും ആ നാളില് എന്നോടു പറയും.

22. Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?'

23. അന്നു ഞാന് അവരൊടുഞാന് ഒരു നാളും നിങ്ങളെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; അധര്മ്മം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടു പോകുവിന് എന്നു തീര്ത്തു പറയും.

23. Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'

24. ആകയാല് എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ കേട്ടു ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ഒക്കെയും പാറമേല് വീടു പണിത ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള മനുഷ്യനോടു തുല്യനാകുന്നു.

24. 'Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock.

25. വന്മഴ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു നദികള് പൊങ്ങി കാറ്റു അടിച്ചു ആ വീട്ടിന്മേല് അലെച്ചു; അതു പാറമേല് അടിസ്ഥാനമുള്ളതാകയാല് വീണില്ല.

25. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn't fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26. എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ കേട്ടു ചെയ്യാത്തവന് ഒക്കെയും മണലിന്മേല് വീടുപണിത മനുഷ്യനോടു തുല്യനാകുന്നു.

26. Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand.

27. വന്മഴ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു നദികള് പൊങ്ങി കാറ്റു അടിച്ചു ആ വീട്ടിന്മേല് അലെച്ചു, അതു വീണു; അതിന്റെ വീഴ്ച വലിയതായിരുന്നു.”

28. ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ യേശു പറഞ്ഞു തീര്ന്നപ്പോള് പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തില് വിസ്മയിച്ചു;

28. It happened, when Yeshua had finished saying these things, that the multitudes were astonished at his teaching,

29. അവരുടെ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരെപ്പോലെ അല്ല, അധികാരമുള്ളവനായിട്ടത്രേ അവന് അവരോടു ഉപദേശിച്ചതു.

29. for he taught them with authority, and not like the Sofrim.
