1. പരീശന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഒരു പ്രമാണിയായി നിക്കോദേമൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു മനുഷ്യന് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

1. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2. അവന് രാത്രിയില് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു അവനോടുറബ്ബീ, നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നു; ദൈവം തന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇല്ലെങ്കില് നീ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ അടയാളങ്ങളെ ചെയ്വാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. The same came to Yahushua by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from Elohim: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except Elohim be with him.

3. യേശു അവനോടുആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു; പുതുതായി ജനിച്ചില്ല എങ്കില് ദൈവരാജ്യം കാണ്മാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴിയകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

3. Yahushua answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of YHWH.

4. നിക്കോദെമൊസ് അവനോടുമനുഷ്യന് വൃദ്ധനായശേഷം ജനിക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? രണ്ടാമതും അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തില് കടന്നു ജനിക്കാമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mothers womb, and be born?

5. അതിന്നു യേശുആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നുവെള്ളത്താലും ആത്മാവിനാലും ജനിച്ചില്ല എങ്കില് ദൈവരാജ്യത്തില് കടപ്പാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴികയില്ല.

5. Yahushua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of YHWH.

6. ജഡത്താല് ജനിച്ചതു ജഡം ആകുന്നു; ആത്മാവിനാല് ജനിച്ചതു ആത്മാവു ആകുന്നു.

6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7. നിങ്ങള് പുതുതായി ജനിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പറകയാല് ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടരുതു.

7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8. കാറ്റു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളേടത്തു ഊതുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശബ്ദം നീ കേള്ക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അതു എവിടെനിന്നു വരുന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല; ആത്മാവിനാല് ജനിച്ചവന് എല്ലാം അതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9. നിക്കോദേമൊസ് അവനോടുഇതു എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

9. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

10. യേശു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുനീ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായിരുന്നിട്ടും ഇതു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

10. Yahushua answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

11. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നുഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും കണ്ടതു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നുഞങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം നിങ്ങള് കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലതാനും.
യെശയ്യാ 55:4

11. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12. ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞാല് എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും?

12. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന (വനായി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവനായ) മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് അല്ലാതെ ആരും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് കയറീട്ടില്ല.

13. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which was in heaven.

14. മോശെ മരുഭൂമിയില് സര്പ്പത്തെ ഉയര്ത്തിയതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെയും ഉയര്ത്തേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

14. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15. അവനില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നിത്യജീവന് പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

15. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16. തന്റെ ഏകജാതനായ പുത്രനില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നശിച്ചുപോകാതെ നിത്യജീവന് പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവം അവനെ നലകുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം ലോകത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു.

16. For YHWH so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17. ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനെ ലോകത്തില് അയച്ചതു ലോകത്തെ വിധിപ്പാനല്ല ലോകം അവനാല് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാനത്രേ.

17. For YHWH sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18. അവനില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു ന്യായവിധി ഇല്ല; വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഏകജതാനായ പുത്രന്റെ നാമത്തില് വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കയാല് ന്യായവിധി വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു.

18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of YHWH.

19. ന്യായവിധി എന്നതോ, വെളിച്ചം ലോകത്തില് വന്നിട്ടും മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ദോഷമുള്ളതു ആകയാല് അവര് വെളിച്ചത്തെക്കാള് ഇരുളിനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതു തന്നേ.

19. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20. തിന്മ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന് എല്ലാം വെളിച്ചത്തെ പകെക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു ആക്ഷേപം വരാതിരിപ്പാന് വെളിച്ചത്തിങ്കലേക്കു വരുന്നതുമില്ല.

20. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21. സത്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവനോ, തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ദൈവത്തില് ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാല് അതു വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തിങ്കലേക്കു വരുന്നു.

21. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Elohim.

22. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി യെഹൂദ്യദേശത്തു വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

22. After these things came Yahushua and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

23. യോഹന്നാനും ശലേമിന്നു അരികത്തു ഐനോനില് സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവിടെ വളരെ വെള്ളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ആളുകള് വന്നു സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു.

23. And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

24. അന്നു യോഹന്നാനെ തടവില് ആക്കിയിരുന്നില്ല.

24. For John was not yet cast into prison.

25. യോഹന്നാന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് ചിലര്ക്കും ഒരു യെഹൂദനുമായി ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വാദം ഉണ്ടായി;

25. Then there arose a question between some of Johns disciples and the Jews about purifying.

26. അവര് യോഹന്നാന്റെ അടുക്കല്വന്നു അവനോടുറബ്ബീ, യോര്ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവന് , നീ സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചുട്ടുള്ളവന് തന്നേ, ഇതാ, സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

26. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

27. അതിന്നു യോഹന്നാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കൊടുത്തിട്ടല്ലാതെ മനുഷ്യന്നു ഒന്നും ലഭിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല.

27. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

28. ഞാന് ക്രിസ്തു അല്ല, അവന്നു മുമ്പായി അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ എനിക്കു സാക്ഷികള് ആകുന്നു;
മലാഖി 3:1

28. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Messiah, but that I am sent before him.

29. മണവാട്ടി ഉള്ളവന് മണവാളന് ആകുന്നു; മണവാളന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനോ നിന്നു മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരം കേട്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; ഈ എന്റെ സന്തോഷം പൂര്ത്തിയായിരിക്കുന്നു.

29. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegrooms voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

30. അവന് വളരേണം, ഞാനോ കുറയേണം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

30. He must increase, but I must decrease.

31. മേലില് നിന്നു വരുന്നവന് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും മീതെയുള്ളവന് ; ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നുള്ളവന് ഭൌമികന് ആകുന്നു; ഭൌമികമായതു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു വരുന്നവന് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും മീതെയുള്ളവനായി താന് കാണ്കെയും കേള്ക്കയും ചെയ്തതു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു;

31. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

32. അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം ആരും കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ല.
യെശയ്യാ 55:4

32. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

33. അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന് ദൈവം സത്യവാന് എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.

33. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that Elohim is true.

34. ദൈവം അയച്ചവന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; അവന് ആത്മാവിനെ അളവുകൂടാതെയല്ലോ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു.

34. For he whom YHWH hath sent speaketh the words of YHWH: for YHWH giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

35. പിതാവു പുത്രനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; സകലവും അവന്റെ കയ്യില് കൊടുത്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

35. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

36. പുത്രനില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടു; പുത്രനെ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവനോ ജീവനെ കാണുകയില്ല; ദൈവക്രോധം അവന്റെമേല് വസിക്കുന്നതേയുള്ള.

36. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of YHWH abideth on him.
