1. കലഹം ശമിച്ചശേഷം പൌലൊസ് ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു യാത്രപറഞ്ഞു മക്കെദോന്യെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.

1. When the noise had come to an end, Paul called the followers to him. He spoke words of comfort and then said good-bye. He left to go to the country of Macedonia.

2. ആ പ്രദേശങ്ങളില് കൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു അവരെ ഏറിയോന്നു പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു യവനദേശത്തു എത്തി.

2. As he went through those parts of the country, he spoke words of comfort and help to the Christians. Then he went on to the country of Greece.

3. അവിടെ മൂന്നു മാസം കഴിച്ചിട്ടു സുറിയെക്കു കപ്പല് കയറിപ്പോകുവാന് ഭാവിക്കുമ്പോള് യെഹൂദന്മാര് അവന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയാല് മക്കെദോന്യവഴിയായി മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാന് നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

3. He stayed there three months. As he was about to get on a ship for the country of Syria, he learned that the Jews had made a plan to take him. He changed his plans and went back through Macedonia.

4. ബെരോവയിലെ പുറൊസിന്റെ മകന് സോപത്രൊസും തെസ്സലോനിക്ക്യരായ അരിസ്തര്ഹൊസും സെക്കുന്തൊസും ദെര്ബ്ബെക്കാരനായ ഗായൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും ആസ്യക്കാരായ തുഹിക്കൊസും ത്രൊഫിമൊസും ആസ്യവരെ അവനോടു കൂടെ പോയി.

4. Some men were going along with him. They were Sopater of the city of Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus of the city of Thessalonica, Gaius of the city of Derbe, and Timothy and Tychicus and Trophimus of the countries of Asia.

5. അവര് മുമ്പെ പോയി ത്രോവാസില് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നു.

5. They went on to the city of Troas and waited there for us.

6. ഞങ്ങളോ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഫിലിപ്പിയില് നിന്നു കപ്പല് കയറി അഞ്ചു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു ത്രോവാസില് അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് എത്തി, ഏഴു ദിവസം അവിടെ പാര്ത്തു.

6. After the supper of bread without yeast we got on a ship in the city of Philippi. We met these men at Troas. It took five days to get there and we stayed one week.

7. ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് അപ്പം നുറുക്കുവാന് കൂടിവന്നപ്പോള് പൌലൊസ് പിറ്റെന്നാള് പുറപ്പെടുവാന് ഭാവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു പാതിരവരെയും പ്രസംഗം നീട്ടി.

7. On the first day of the week we met together to eat the Lord's supper. Paul talked to them. He thought he would leave the next day, so he kept on talking until twelve o'clock at night.

8. ഞങ്ങള് കൂടിയിരുന്ന മാളികയില് വളരെ വിളകൂ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ യൂത്തിക്കൊസ് എന്ന യൌവനക്കാരന് കിളിവാതില്ക്കല് ഇരുന്നു ഗാഢനിദ്ര പിടിച്ചു.

8. There were many lights in the room on the third floor where we had our meeting.

9. പൌലൊസ് വളരെ നേരം സംഭാഷിക്കയാല് നിദ്രാവശനായി മൂന്നാം തട്ടില് നിന്നു താഴെ വീണു; അവനെ മരിച്ചവനായി എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

9. A young man named Eutychus sat in the window. As Paul kept on preaching, this man started to go to sleep. At last he went to sleep. He fell from the third floor to the ground and was picked up dead.

10. പൌലൊസ് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവന്റെമേല് വീണു തഴുകി ഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവന്റെ പ്രാണന് അവനില് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10. Paul went down and stood over him. Then he took him in his arms and said, 'Do not be worried. He is alive!'

11. പിന്നെ അവന് കയറിച്ചെന്നു അപ്പം നുറുക്കി തിന്നു പുലരുവോളം സംഭാഷിച്ചു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.

11. Paul went up again to the meeting and ate with them. He talked with them until the sun came up. Then he left.

12. അവര് ആ ബാലനെ ജീവനുള്ളവനായി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അത്യന്തം ആശ്വസിച്ചു.

12. They were happy they could take the young man home alive.

13. ഞങ്ങള് മുമ്പായി കപ്പല് കയറ്റി പൌലൊസിനെ അസ്സൊസില് വെച്ചു കയറ്റിക്കൊള്വാന് വിചാരിച്ചു അവിടേക്കു ഔടി; അവന് കാല്നടയായി വരുവാന് വിചാരിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ ചട്ടംകെട്ടിയിരുന്നു.

13. We went on ahead by ship to the city of Assos. There we were to pick up Paul. He had planned it that way. He wanted to walk by land that far.

14. അവന് അസ്സൊസില് ഞങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നപ്പോള് അവനെ കയറ്റി മിതുലേനയില് എത്തി;

14. We got to Assos and met him there. We picked him up and went on to the city of Mitylene.

15. അവിടെ നിന്നു നീക്കി, പിറ്റെന്നാള് ഖിയൊസ് ദ്വീപിന്റെ തൂക്കില് എത്തി, മറുനാള് സാമൊസ് ദ്വീപില് അണഞ്ഞു. പിറ്റേന്നു മിലേത്തൊസില് എത്തി.

15. The next day we went by ship to a place beside the island of Chios. The next day we crossed over to the island of Samos. Then the next day we came to the city of Miletus.

16. കഴിയും എങ്കില് പെന്തകൊസ്ത് നാളേക്കു യെരൂശലേമില് എത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു പൌലൊസ് ബദ്ധപ്പെടുകയാല് ആസ്യയില് കാലതാമസം വരരുതു എന്നുവെച്ചു എഫെസൊസില് അടുക്കാതെ ഔടേണം എന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

16. Paul planned to pass by the city of Ephesus so he would not lose more time in Asia. He wanted to be in Jerusalem if he could be on the day to remember how the Holy Spirit came on the church.

17. മിലേത്തൊസില് നിന്നു അവന് എഫെസൊസിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു സഭയിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെ വരുത്തി.

17. From Miletus he sent word to Ephesus. He asked the leaders of the church to come to him.

18. അവര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നപ്പോള് അവന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു

18. When they got there, he said to them, 'From the first day that I came to Asia you have seen what my life has been like.

19. ഞാന് ആസ്യയില് വന്ന ഒന്നാം നാള് മുതല് എല്ലായ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എങ്ങനെയിരുന്നു എന്നും വളരെ താഴ്മയോടും കണ്ണുനീരോടും യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകളാല് എനിക്കു ഉണ്ടായ കഷ്ടങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ

19. I worked for the Lord without pride. Because of the trouble the Jews gave me, I have had many tears.

20. കര്ത്താവിനെ സേവിച്ചു വന്നു എന്നും പ്രായോജനമുള്ളതു ഒന്നും മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ പരസ്യമായും വീടുതോറും നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയക്കയും ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എന്നും

20. I always told you everything that would be a help to you. I taught you in open meetings and from house to house.

21. ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കുള്ള മാനസാന്തരവും നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസവും യെഹൂദന്മാര്ക്കും യവനന്മാര്ക്കും സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചു എന്നും നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. I preached to the Jews and to the Greeks. I told them to turn from their sin to God and to put their trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.

22. ഇപ്പോള് ഇതാ ഞാന് ആത്മാവിനാല് ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവാനയി യേരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു.

22. 'As you see, I am on my way to Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit makes me go. I do not know what will happen to me there.

23. ബന്ധനങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു പട്ടണം തോറും സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതല്ലാതെ അവിടെ എനിക്കു നേരിടുവാനുള്ള ഒന്നും ഞാന് അറിയുന്നില്ല.

23. But in every city I have been, the Holy Spirit tells me that trouble and chains will be waiting for me there.

24. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വിലയേറിയതായി എണ്ണുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ ഔട്ടവും ദൈവകൃപയുടെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുതന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷയും തികെക്കേണം എന്നേ എനിക്കുള്ളു.

24. But I am not worried about this. I do not think of my life as worth much, but I do want to finish the work the Lord Jesus gave me to do. My work is to preach the Good News of God's loving-favor.

25. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നടന്നവനായ എന്റെ മുഖം നിങ്ങള് ആരും ഇനി കാണ്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

25. All of you have heard me preach the Good News. I am sure that none of you will ever see my face again.

26. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളില് ആരെങ്കിലും നശിച്ചുപോയാല് ഞാന് കുറ്റക്കാരനല്ല എന്നു ഞാന് ഇന്നേ ദിവസം നിങ്ങളോടു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

26. I tell you this day that I am clean and free from the blood of all men.

27. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലോചന ഒട്ടും മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ ഞാന് മുഴുവനും അറിയിച്ചുതന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

27. I told you all the truth about God.

28. നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേയും താന് സ്വന്തരക്തത്താല് സമ്പാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭയെ മേയ്പാന് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിങ്ങളെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷരാക്കിവെച്ച ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടം മുഴുവനെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

28. Keep a careful watch over yourselves and over the church. The Holy Spirit has made you its leaders. Feed and care for the church of God. He bought it with His own blood.

29. ഞാന് പോയ ശേഷം ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തെ ആദരിക്കാത്ത കൊടിയ ചെന്നായ്ക്കള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് കടക്കും എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

29. Yes, I know that when I am gone, hungry wolves will come in among you. They will try to destroy the church.

30. ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ തങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ വലിച്ചുകളവാനായി വിപരീതോപദേശം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്നും എഴുന്നേലക്കും.

30. Also men from your own group will begin to teach things that are not true. They will get men to follow them.

31. അതു കൊണ്ടു ഉണര്ന്നിരിപ്പിന് ; ഞാന് മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം രാപ്പകല് ഇടവിടാതെ കണ്ണുനീര് വാര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ബുദ്ധിപറഞ്ഞുതന്നതു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

31. I say again, keep watching! Remember that for three years I taught everyone of you night and day, even with tears.

32. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആത്മികവര്ദ്ധന വരുത്തുവാനും സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുംകൂടെ അവകാശം തരുവാനും കഴിയുന്ന ദൈവത്തിലും അവന്റെ കൃപയുടെ വചനത്തിലും ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ ഭരമേല്പിക്കുന്നു.

32. 'And now, my brothers, I give you over to God and to the word of His love. It is able to make you strong and to give you what you are to have, along with all those who are set apart for God.

33. I have not tried to get anyone's money or clothes.

34. എന്റെ മുട്ടിനും എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ളവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഞാന് ഈ കൈകളാല് അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു എന്നു നങ്ങള് തന്നേ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

34. You all know that these hands worked for what I needed and for what those with me needed.

35. ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രയത്നം ചെയ്തു പ്രാപ്തിയില്ലാത്തവരെ സാഹായിക്കയും, വാങ്ങുന്നതിനെക്കാള് കൊടുക്കുന്നതു ഭാഗ്യം എന്നു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുതാന് പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്കയും വേണ്ടതു എന്നു ഞാന് എല്ലാം കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

35. In every way I showed you that by working hard like this we can help those who are weak. We must remember what the Lord Jesus said, 'We are more happy when we give than when we receive.' '

36. ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവന് മുട്ടുകുത്തി അവരെല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

36. As he finished talking, he got down on his knees and prayed with them all.
