1. കലഹം ശമിച്ചശേഷം പൌലൊസ് ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു യാത്രപറഞ്ഞു മക്കെദോന്യെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.

1. And after the vprore was ceassed, Paul called the disciples, & toke his leaue of them, and departed, for to go into Macedonia.

2. ആ പ്രദേശങ്ങളില് കൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു അവരെ ഏറിയോന്നു പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു യവനദേശത്തു എത്തി.

2. And whe he had gone ouer those parties, and had geuen them a long exhortation, he came into Grece.

3. അവിടെ മൂന്നു മാസം കഴിച്ചിട്ടു സുറിയെക്കു കപ്പല് കയറിപ്പോകുവാന് ഭാവിക്കുമ്പോള് യെഹൂദന്മാര് അവന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയാല് മക്കെദോന്യവഴിയായി മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാന് നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

3. And [there] abode three monethes. And when the Iewes layde wayte for hym as he was about to sayle into Syria, he purposed to returne through Macedonia.

4. ബെരോവയിലെ പുറൊസിന്റെ മകന് സോപത്രൊസും തെസ്സലോനിക്ക്യരായ അരിസ്തര്ഹൊസും സെക്കുന്തൊസും ദെര്ബ്ബെക്കാരനായ ഗായൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും ആസ്യക്കാരായ തുഹിക്കൊസും ത്രൊഫിമൊസും ആസ്യവരെ അവനോടു കൂടെ പോയി.

4. And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berrea, and of the Thessalonians Aristarcus and Secundus, and Gaius of Derbe and Timotheus, and out of Asia Tychicus and Trophimus.

5. അവര് മുമ്പെ പോയി ത്രോവാസില് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നു.

5. These going before, taried vs at Troas.

6. ഞങ്ങളോ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഫിലിപ്പിയില് നിന്നു കപ്പല് കയറി അഞ്ചു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു ത്രോവാസില് അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് എത്തി, ഏഴു ദിവസം അവിടെ പാര്ത്തു.

6. And we sayled away fro Philippos, after the dayes of sweete bread, & came vnto the to Troas in fiue dayes, where we abode seuen dayes.

7. ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് അപ്പം നുറുക്കുവാന് കൂടിവന്നപ്പോള് പൌലൊസ് പിറ്റെന്നാള് പുറപ്പെടുവാന് ഭാവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു പാതിരവരെയും പ്രസംഗം നീട്ടി.

7. And vpon one of the Sabboth dayes, when the disciples came together for to breake bread, Paul reasoned with the, redy to depart on the morowe, and continued the worde vnto mydnyght.

8. ഞങ്ങള് കൂടിയിരുന്ന മാളികയില് വളരെ വിളകൂ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ യൂത്തിക്കൊസ് എന്ന യൌവനക്കാരന് കിളിവാതില്ക്കല് ഇരുന്നു ഗാഢനിദ്ര പിടിച്ചു.

8. And there were many lyghtes in an vpper chamber, where they were gathered together.

9. പൌലൊസ് വളരെ നേരം സംഭാഷിക്കയാല് നിദ്രാവശനായി മൂന്നാം തട്ടില് നിന്നു താഴെ വീണു; അവനെ മരിച്ചവനായി എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

9. And there sate in a window a certaine young man, named Eutychus, being fallen into a deepe sleepe: And as Paul was long reasonyng, he was the more ouercome with sleepe, and fell downe from the thirde loft, and was taken vp dead.

10. പൌലൊസ് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവന്റെമേല് വീണു തഴുകി ഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവന്റെ പ്രാണന് അവനില് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10. But whe Paul went downe, he fell on hym, and imbraced hym, & saide: make nothyng a do, for his lyfe is in hym.

11. പിന്നെ അവന് കയറിച്ചെന്നു അപ്പം നുറുക്കി തിന്നു പുലരുവോളം സംഭാഷിച്ചു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.

11. And so when he was come vp againe, and had broken bread and eaten, & talked a long while, euen tyll the morning, and so he departed.

12. അവര് ആ ബാലനെ ജീവനുള്ളവനായി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അത്യന്തം ആശ്വസിച്ചു.

12. And they brought the young man alyue, and were not a litle comforted.

13. ഞങ്ങള് മുമ്പായി കപ്പല് കയറ്റി പൌലൊസിനെ അസ്സൊസില് വെച്ചു കയറ്റിക്കൊള്വാന് വിചാരിച്ചു അവിടേക്കു ഔടി; അവന് കാല്നടയായി വരുവാന് വിചാരിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ ചട്ടംകെട്ടിയിരുന്നു.

13. And we went afore to shippe, & loosed vnto Asson, there to receaue Paul: For so had he appoynted, and woulde hym selfe go a foote.

14. അവന് അസ്സൊസില് ഞങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നപ്പോള് അവനെ കയറ്റി മിതുലേനയില് എത്തി;

14. And when he was come to vs to Asso, we toke hym in, and came to Mytilene.

15. അവിടെ നിന്നു നീക്കി, പിറ്റെന്നാള് ഖിയൊസ് ദ്വീപിന്റെ തൂക്കില് എത്തി, മറുനാള് സാമൊസ് ദ്വീപില് അണഞ്ഞു. പിറ്റേന്നു മിലേത്തൊസില് എത്തി.

15. And we sayled thence, and came the next day ouer agaynst Chios: and the next daye we arryued at Samos, and taryed at Trogylliu. The next day we came to Miletum:

16. കഴിയും എങ്കില് പെന്തകൊസ്ത് നാളേക്കു യെരൂശലേമില് എത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു പൌലൊസ് ബദ്ധപ്പെടുകയാല് ആസ്യയില് കാലതാമസം വരരുതു എന്നുവെച്ചു എഫെസൊസില് അടുക്കാതെ ഔടേണം എന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

16. For Paul had determined to sayle ouer by Ephesus, because he would not spend the tyme in Asia. For he hasted, yf it were possible for hym, to kepe at Hierusalem the day of Pentecost.

17. മിലേത്തൊസില് നിന്നു അവന് എഫെസൊസിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു സഭയിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെ വരുത്തി.

17. And from Miletum, he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the Church.

18. അവര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നപ്പോള് അവന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു

18. Which when they were come to hym, he saide vnto them: Ye knowe from the first daye that I came into Asia, after what maner I haue ben with you at all seasons.

19. ഞാന് ആസ്യയില് വന്ന ഒന്നാം നാള് മുതല് എല്ലായ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എങ്ങനെയിരുന്നു എന്നും വളരെ താഴ്മയോടും കണ്ണുനീരോടും യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകളാല് എനിക്കു ഉണ്ടായ കഷ്ടങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ

19. Seruyng the Lorde with all humblenesse of mynde, and with many teares, and temptations whiche came vnto me by the layinges awayte of the Iewes:

20. കര്ത്താവിനെ സേവിച്ചു വന്നു എന്നും പ്രായോജനമുള്ളതു ഒന്നും മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ പരസ്യമായും വീടുതോറും നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയക്കയും ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എന്നും

20. And howe I kept backe nothing that was profitable vnto you, but haue shewed you, and haue taught you openly, and throughout euery house.

21. ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കുള്ള മാനസാന്തരവും നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസവും യെഹൂദന്മാര്ക്കും യവനന്മാര്ക്കും സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചു എന്നും നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. Witnessyng both to the Iewes & also to the Grekes, the repentaunce that is towarde God, and the fayth whiche is towarde our Lorde Iesus.

22. ഇപ്പോള് ഇതാ ഞാന് ആത്മാവിനാല് ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവാനയി യേരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു.

22. And nowe beholde I go bounde in the spirite vnto Hierusale, not knowyng the thynges that shall come vnto me:

23. ബന്ധനങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു പട്ടണം തോറും സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതല്ലാതെ അവിടെ എനിക്കു നേരിടുവാനുള്ള ഒന്നും ഞാന് അറിയുന്നില്ല.

23. But that the holy ghost witnesseth in euery citie, saying that bondes & trouble abyde me.

24. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വിലയേറിയതായി എണ്ണുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ ഔട്ടവും ദൈവകൃപയുടെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുതന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷയും തികെക്കേണം എന്നേ എനിക്കുള്ളു.

24. But none of these thynges moue me, neither is my lyfe deare vnto my selfe, so that I myght fulfyll my course with ioy, and the ministerie whiche I haue receaued of the Lorde Iesu, to testifie the Gospell of the grace of God.

25. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നടന്നവനായ എന്റെ മുഖം നിങ്ങള് ആരും ഇനി കാണ്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

25. And nowe beholde, I am sure that hencefoorth ye al, through who I haue gone preachyng the kyngdome of God, shall see my face no more.

26. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളില് ആരെങ്കിലും നശിച്ചുപോയാല് ഞാന് കുറ്റക്കാരനല്ല എന്നു ഞാന് ഇന്നേ ദിവസം നിങ്ങളോടു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

26. Wherefore, I take you to recorde this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലോചന ഒട്ടും മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ ഞാന് മുഴുവനും അറിയിച്ചുതന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

27. For I haue kept nothyng backe, but haue shewed you all ye counsell of God.

28. നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേയും താന് സ്വന്തരക്തത്താല് സമ്പാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭയെ മേയ്പാന് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിങ്ങളെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷരാക്കിവെച്ച ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടം മുഴുവനെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

28. Take heede therfore vnto your selues, and to all the flocke, ouer the which the holy ghost hath made you ouerseers, to rule the Church of God, which he hath purchased with his owne blood.

29. ഞാന് പോയ ശേഷം ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തെ ആദരിക്കാത്ത കൊടിയ ചെന്നായ്ക്കള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് കടക്കും എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

29. For I knowe this, that after my departyng, shall greeuous wolfes enter in among you, not sparyng the flocke.

30. ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ തങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ വലിച്ചുകളവാനായി വിപരീതോപദേശം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്നും എഴുന്നേലക്കും.

30. Also of your owne selues shall men aryse, speakyng peruerse thynges, to drawe disciples after them.

31. അതു കൊണ്ടു ഉണര്ന്നിരിപ്പിന് ; ഞാന് മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം രാപ്പകല് ഇടവിടാതെ കണ്ണുനീര് വാര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ബുദ്ധിപറഞ്ഞുതന്നതു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

31. Therfore watch, and remember that by the space of three yeres I ceassed not to warne euery one night and day with teares.

32. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആത്മികവര്ദ്ധന വരുത്തുവാനും സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുംകൂടെ അവകാശം തരുവാനും കഴിയുന്ന ദൈവത്തിലും അവന്റെ കൃപയുടെ വചനത്തിലും ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ ഭരമേല്പിക്കുന്നു.

32. And nowe brethren I commende you to God, and to the worde of his grace, which is able to buylde further, and to geue you an inheritaunce among all the which are sanctified.

33. ആരുടെയും വെള്ളിയോ പൊന്നോ വസ്ത്രമോ ഞാന് മോഹിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

33. I haue desired no mans syluer, golde, or vesture.

34. എന്റെ മുട്ടിനും എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ളവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഞാന് ഈ കൈകളാല് അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു എന്നു നങ്ങള് തന്നേ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

34. Yea, ye your selues knowe, that these handes haue ministred vnto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

35. ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രയത്നം ചെയ്തു പ്രാപ്തിയില്ലാത്തവരെ സാഹായിക്കയും, വാങ്ങുന്നതിനെക്കാള് കൊടുക്കുന്നതു ഭാഗ്യം എന്നു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുതാന് പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്കയും വേണ്ടതു എന്നു ഞാന് എല്ലാം കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

35. I haue shewed you all thinges, howe that so labouryng ye ought to receaue the weake, and to remember ye wordes of the Lorde Iesu, howe that he said, it is more blessed to geue, then to receaue.

36. ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവന് മുട്ടുകുത്തി അവരെല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

36. And when he hadde thus spoken, he kneled downe, & prayed with them all.
