1. എന്നാല് ശക്തരായ നാം അശക്തരുടെ ബലഹീനതകളെ ചുമക്കുകയും നമ്മില് തന്നേ പ്രസാദിക്കാതിരിക്കയും വേണം.

1. We which are strong, ought to beare the infirmities of the weake, and not to please our selues.

2. നമ്മില് ഔരോരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നന്മെക്കായിട്ടു ആത്മിക വര്ദ്ധനെക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കേണം.

2. Therefore let euery man please his neighbour in that that is good to edification.

3. “നിന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നിന്ദ എന്റെ മേല് വീണു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുതു പോലെ ക്രിസ്തുവും തന്നില് തന്നേ പ്രസാദിച്ചില്ല.

3. For Christ also would not please himselfe, but as it is written, The rebukes of them which rebuke thee, fell on me.

4. എന്നാല് മുന്നെഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും നമ്മുടെ ഉപദേശത്തിന്നായിട്ടു, നമുക്കു തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളാല് ഉളവാകുന്ന സ്ഥിരതയാലും ആശ്വാസത്താലും പ്രത്യാശ ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For whatsoeuer things are written aforetime, are writte for our learning, that we through patience, and comfort of the Scriptures might haue hope.

5. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ഐകമത്യപെട്ടു, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തെ ഏകമനസ്സോടെ ഒരു വായിനാല് മഹത്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

5. Now the God of patience and consolation giue you that ye be like minded one towards another, according to Christ Iesus,

6. സ്ഥിരതയും ആശ്വാസവും നലകുന്ന ദൈവം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നു അനുരൂപമായി തമ്മില് ഏകചിന്തയോടിരിപ്പാന് കൃപ നലകുമാറാകട്ടെ.

6. That ye with one minde, and with one mouth may prayse God, euen the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ.

7. അതുകൊണ്ടു ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നായി നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും അന്യോന്യം കൈക്കൊള്വിന് .

7. Wherefore receiue ye one another, as Christ also receiued vs to the glory of God.

8. പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും ലഭിച്ച വാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങളെ ഉറപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

8. Nowe I say, that Iesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision, for the trueth of God, to confirme the promises made vnto the fathers.

9. ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സത്യംനിമിത്തം പരിച്ഛേദനെക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായിത്തീര്ന്നു എന്നും ജാതികള് ദൈവത്തെ അവന്റെ കരുണനിമിത്തം മഹത്വീകരിക്കേണം എന്നും ഞാന് പറയുന്നു.

9. And let the Gentiles prayse God, for his mercie, as it is written, For this cause I wil confesse thee among the Gentiles, and sing vnto thy Name.

10. “അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തി നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തുതി പാടും”

10. And againe he saith, Reioyce, ye Gentiles with his people.

11. എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നവല്ലോ. മറ്റൊരേടത്തു“ജാതികളേ, അവന്റെ ജനത്തൊടു ഒന്നിച്ചു ആനന്ദിപ്പിന്” എന്നും പറയുന്നു. “സകല ജാതികളുമായുള്ളോരേ, കര്ത്താവിനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് , സകല വംശങ്ങളും അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നും പറയുന്നു.

11. And againe, Prayse the Lord, all ye Gentiles, and laude ye him, all people together.

12. “യിശ്ശയിയുടെ വേരും ജാതികളെ ഭരിപ്പാന് എഴുന്നേലക്കുന്നവനുമായവന് ഉണ്ടാകും; അവനില് ജാതികള് പ്രത്യാശവേക്കും”
യെശയ്യാ 11:10

12. And againe Esaias sayth, There shall be a roote of Iesse, and hee that shall rise to reigne ouer the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13. എന്നു യെശയ്യാവു പറയുന്നു. എന്നാല് പ്രത്യാശ നലകുന്ന ദൈവം പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് നിങ്ങള് പ്രത്യാശയില് സമൃദ്ധിയുള്ളവരായി വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതിലുള്ള സകല സന്തോഷവും സമാധാനവുംകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ നിറെക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

13. Nowe the God of hope fill you with all ioye, and peace in beleeuing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the holy Ghost.

14. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ ദയാപൂര്ണ്ണരും സകല ജ്ഞാനവും നിറഞ്ഞവരും അന്യോന്യം പ്രബോധിപ്പിപ്പാന് പ്രാപ്തരും ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. And I my selfe also am perswaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodnes, and filled with all knowledge, and are able to admonish one another.

15. എങ്കിലും ജാതികള് എന്ന വഴിപാടു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാല് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു പ്രസാദകരമായിത്തീരുവാന് ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം പുരോഹിതനായി അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ജാതികളില് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകനായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

15. Neuerthelesse, brethren, I haue somewhat boldly after a sort written vnto you, as one that putteth you in remembrance, through the grace that is giuen me of God,

16. ദൈവം എനിക്കു നല്കിയ കൃപ നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മപ്പെടുത്തുംവണ്ണം ഞാന് ചിലേടത്തു അതിധൈര്യമായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. That I should be the minister of Iesus Christ toward the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God, that the offering vp of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Ghost.

17. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് എനിക്കു ദൈവസംബന്ധമായി പ്രശംസ ഉണ്ടു.

17. I haue therefore whereof I may reioyce in Christ Iesus in those things which pertaine to God.

18. ക്രിസ്തു ഞാന് മുഖാന്തരം ജാതികളുടെ അനുസരണത്തിന്നായിട്ടു വചനത്താലും പ്രവൃത്തിയാലും അടയാളങ്ങളുടെയും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളുടെയും ശക്തികൊണ്ടും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചതു അല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും മിണ്ടുവാന് ഞാന് തുനിയുകയില്ല.

18. For I dare not speake of any thing, which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient in worde and deede,

19. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് യെരൂശലേം മുതല് ഇല്ലുര്യ്യദേശത്തോളം ചുറ്റിസഞ്ചരിച്ചു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം പൂരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. With the power of signes and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God: so that from Hierusalem, and round about vnto Illyricum, I haue caused to abound the Gospel of Christ.

20. ഞാന് മറ്റൊരുവന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേല് പണിയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള ഇടത്തിലല്ല,

20. Yea, so I enforced my selfe to preach the Gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should haue built on another mans foundation.

21. “അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിവുകിട്ടീട്ടില്ലാത്തവര് കാണും; കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവര് ഗ്രഹിക്കും” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുതുപോലെ അത്രേ, സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാന് അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നതു.
യെശയ്യാ 52:15

21. But as it is written, To whome hee was not spoken of, they shall see him, and they that heard not, shall vnderstand him.

22. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നതിന്നു പലപ്പോഴും മുടക്കം വന്നു.

22. Therefore also I haue bene oft let to come vnto you:

23. ഇപ്പോഴോ എനിക്കു ഈ ദിക്കുകളില് ഇനി സ്ഥലമില്ലായ്കയാലും അങ്ങോട്ടു വരുവാന് അനേകസംവത്സരമായി വാഞ്ഛ ഉണ്ടാകകൊണ്ടും,

23. But nowe seeing I haue no more place in these quarters, and also haue bene desirous many yeeres agone to come vnto you,

24. ഞാന് സ്പാന്യയിലേക്കു യാത്ര ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് പോകുന്ന വഴിക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കാണ്മാനും ആദ്യം നിങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചശേഷം നിങ്ങളാല് യാത്ര അയക്കപ്പെടുവാനും ആശിക്കുന്നു.

24. When I shall take my iourney into Spaine, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my iourney, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, after that I haue bene somewhat filled with your company.

25. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് വിശുദ്ധന്മാര്ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രയാകുന്നു.

25. But now go I to Hierusalem, to minister vnto the Saints.

26. യെരൂശലേമിലെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരില് ദരിദ്രരായവര്ക്കും ഏതാനും ധര്മ്മോപകാരം ചെയ്വാന് മക്കെദോന്യയിലും അഖായയിലും ഉള്ളവര്ക്കും ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നി.

26. For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia, to make a certaine distribution vnto the poore Saints which are at Hierusalem.

27. അവര്ക്കും ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നി എന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, അതു അവര്ക്കും കടവും ആകുന്നു; ജാതികള് അവരുടെ ആത്മികനന്മകളില് കൂട്ടാളികള് ആയെങ്കില് ഐഹികനന്മകളില് അവര്ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

27. For it hath pleased them, and their detters are they: for if the Gentiles be made partakers of their spirituall things, their duetie is also to minister vnto them in carnall things.

28. ഞാന് അതു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചു ഈ ഫലം അവര്ക്കും ഏല്പിച്ചു ബോദ്ധ്യം വരുത്തിയ ശേഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിയായി സ്പാന്യയിലേക്കു പോകും.

28. When I haue therefore performed this, and haue sealed them this fruite, I will passe by you into Spaine.

29. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുമ്പോള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹപൂര്ത്തിയോടെ വരും എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

29. And I knowe when I come, that I shall come to you with abundance of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ.

30. എന്നാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ അവിശ്വാസികളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു ഞാന് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന സഹായം വിശുദ്ധന്മാര്ക്കും

30. Also brethren, I beseeche you for our Lord Iesus Christes sake, and for the loue of the spirit, that ye would striue with me by prayers to God for me,

31. പ്രസാദമായിത്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ദൈവവേഷ്ടത്താല് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ മനം തണുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങള് എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് എന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരാടേണം

31. That I may be deliuered from them which are disobedient in Iudea, and that my seruice which I haue to doe at Hierusalem, may be accepted of the Saintes,

32. എന്നു നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും ആത്മാവിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തെയും ഔര്പ്പിച്ചു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

32. That I may come vnto you with ioy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

33. സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേന് .

33. Thus the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
