1. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇപ്പോള് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഒരു ശിക്ഷാവിധിയും ഇല്ല.

1. There is then no damnation to them which are in Christ Jesu, which walk not after the flesh: but after the spirit.

2. ജീവന്റെ ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രമാണം എനിക്കു പാപത്തിന്റെയും മരണത്തിന്റെയും പ്രമാണത്തില്നിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. For the law of the spirit, wherein is(that bringeth) life thorow Jesus Christ hath delivered me(made me free) from the law of sin, and death.

3. ജഡത്താലുള്ള ബലഹീനതനിമിത്തം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു കഴിയാഞ്ഞതിനെ (സാധിപ്പാന് ) ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനെ പാപജഡത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിലും പാപം നിമിത്തവും അയച്ചു, പാപത്തിന്നു ജഡത്തില് ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചു.

3. For what the law could not do inasmuch as it was weak because of the flesh: that performed God, and sent his son in the similitude of sinful flesh, and by sin damned sin in the flesh:

4. ജഡത്തെയല്ല ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്ന നമ്മില് ന്യായ പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ നീതി നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

4. that the righteousness required of the law, might be fulfilled in us, which walk not after the flesh: but after the spirit.

5. ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവര് ജഡത്തിന്നുള്ളതും ആത്മസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവര് ആത്മാവിന്നുള്ളതും ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.

5. For they that are carnal, are carnally minded; and(But) they that are spiritual are ghostly minded.

6. ജഡത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത മരണം; ആത്മാവിന്റെ ചിന്തയോ ജീവനും സമാധാനവും തന്നേ.

6. To be carnally minded is death; and(But) to be spiritually minded is life, and peace:

7. ജഡത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത ദൈവത്തോടു ശത്രുത്വം ആകുന്നു; അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു കീഴ്പെടുന്നില്ല, കീഴ്പെടുവാന് കഴിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

7. because that the fleshly mind is enmity against God: For it is not obedient to(subdued unto) the law of God, neither can be.

8. ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവര്ക്കും ദൈവത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാന് കഴിവില്ല.

8. So then they that are given to the flesh, cannot please God.

9. നിങ്ങളോ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികില് ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരല്ല ആത്മസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരത്രേ, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ആത്മാവില്ലാത്തവന് അവന്നുള്ളവനല്ല.

9. But ye are not given to the flesh; But to the spirit: If so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. If there be any man that hath not the spirit of Christ, the same is none of his.

10. ക്രിസ്തു നിങ്ങളില് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലോ ശരീരം പാപംനിമിത്തം മരിക്കേണ്ടതെങ്കിലും ആത്മാവു നീതിനിമിത്തം ജീവനാകുന്നു .

10. If Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin: But the spirit is life for righteousness' sake.

11. യേശുവിനെ മരിച്ചവരില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചവന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചവന് നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ മര്ത്യശരീരങ്ങളെയും ജീവിപ്പിക്കും.

11. Wherefore if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from death, dwell in you: even he that raised up Christ from death, shall quicken your mortal bodies, be cause that his(this) spirit dwelleth in you.

12. ആകയാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നാം ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ജഡത്തിന്നല്ല കടക്കാരാകുന്നതു.

12. Therefore brethren we are now debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh:

13. നിങ്ങള് ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് മരിക്കും നിശ്ചയം; ആത്മാവിനാല് ശരീരത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ മരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങള് ജീവിക്കും.

13. For if ye live after the flesh, ye must die. But if ye mortify the deeds of the body, by the help of the spirit, ye shall live,

14. ദൈവാത്മാവു നടത്തുന്നവര് ഏവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കള് ആകുന്നു.

14. for as many as are led by the spirit of God, (:they) are the sons of God.

15. നിങ്ങള് പിന്നെയും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ദാസ്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അല്ല; നാം അബ്ബാ പിതാവേ, എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്ന പുത്രത്വത്തിന് ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

15. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear any more, but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba father.(Abba, dear father)

16. നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കള് എന്നു ആത്മാവുതാനും നമ്മുടെ ആത്മാവോടുകൂടെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

16. The same spirit certifieth our spirit that we are the sons of God.

17. നാം മക്കള് എങ്കിലോ അവകാശികളും ആകുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അവകാശികളും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു കൂട്ടവകാശികളും തന്നേ; നാം അവനോടുകൂടെ തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചാലത്രേ.

17. If we be sons, we are also heirs (the heirs I mean of God) and heirs annexed with Christ, if so be that we suffer together, that we may be glorified together.

18. നമ്മില് വെളിപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള തേജസ്സു വിചാരിച്ചാല് ഈ കാലത്തിലെ കഷ്ടങ്ങള് സാരമില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് എണ്ണുന്നു.

18. For I suppose that the afflictions of this life, are not worthy of the glory which shall be shewed upon us.

19. സൃഷ്ടി ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരുടെ വെളിപ്പാടിനെ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. Also the fervent desire(longing) of the creatures abideth looking when the sons of God shall appear

20. സൃഷ്ടി ദ്രവത്വത്തിന്റെ ദാസ്യത്തില്നിന്നു വിടുതലും ദൈവമക്കളുടെ തേജസ്സാകുന്ന സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നുള്ള ആശയോടെ മായെക്കു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു;
ഉല്പത്തി 3:17-19, ഉല്പത്തി 5:29, സഭാപ്രസംഗി 1:2

20. because the creatures are subdued to vanity against their will: but for his will which subdued(subdueth) them in hope.

21. മന:പൂര്വ്വമായിട്ടല്ല, അതിനെ കീഴ്പെടുത്തിയവന്റെ കല്പനനിമിത്തമത്രേ.

21. For the very creatures shall be delivered(free) from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.(children of God)

22. സര്വ്വസൃഷ്ടിയും ഇന്നുവരെ ഒരുപോലെ ഞരങ്ങി ഈറ്റുനോവോടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

22. For we know that every creature groaneth with us also, and travaileth in pain even unto this time.

23. ആത്മാവെന്ന ആദ്യ ദാനം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നാമും നമ്മുടെ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പായ പുത്രത്വത്തിന്നു കാത്തുകൊണ്ടു ഉള്ളില് ഞരങ്ങുന്നു.

23. Not they only, but even we also which have the first fruits of the spirit mourn(groan) in ourselves and wait for the adoption (of the children God) and look for the deliverance of our bodies.

24. പ്രത്യാശയാലല്ലാ നാം രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടിരിക്കുന്നതു. കാണുന്ന പ്രത്യാശയോ പ്രത്യാശയല്ല; ഒരുത്തന് കാണുന്നതിന്നായി ഇനി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

24. For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen is no hope. For how can a man hope for that which he seeth?

25. നാം കാണാത്തതിന്നായി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ അതിന്നായി ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. but and if we hope for that we see not, then do we with(thorow) patience abide for it.

26. അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ആത്മാവു നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതെക്കു തുണനിലക്കുന്നു. വേണ്ടുംപോലെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ. ആത്മാവു തന്നേ ഉച്ചരിച്ചു കൂടാത്ത ഞരക്കങ്ങളാല് നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

26. Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities. For we know not, what to desire as we ought: but the spirit maketh intercession mightily for us with groanings which cannot be expressed with tongue.

27. എന്നാല് ആത്മാവു വിശുദ്ധര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ദൈവഹിതപ്രകാരം പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ആത്മാവിന്റെ ചിന്ത ഇന്നതെന്നു ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നവന് അറിയുന്നു.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 139:1

27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the meaning(mind) of the spirit: for he maketh intercession for the saints according to the pleasure of God.

28. എന്നാല് ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും, നിര്ണ്ണയപ്രകാരം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്ക്കും തന്നേ, സകലവും നന്മെക്കായി കൂടി വ്യാപരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

28. For we know well that all things work(serve) for the best unto them that love God, which also are called of purpose.

29. അവന് മുന്നറിഞ്ഞവരെ തന്റെ പുത്രന് അനേകം സഹോദരന്മാരില് ആദ്യജാതന് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ സ്വരൂപത്തോടു അനുരൂപരാകുവാന് മുന്നിയമിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

29. For those which he knew before, he also ordained before, that they should be like fashioned unto the shape of his son, that he might be the first begotten son among many brethren.

30. മുന്നിയമിച്ചവരെ വിളിച്ചും വിളിച്ചവരെ നീതീകരിച്ചും നീതീകരിച്ചവരെ തേജസ്കരിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

30. Moreover which he appointed(ordained) before, them he also called; and which he called, them also he justified; which he justified,(made righteous) them he also glorified.

31. ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ചു നാം എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? ദൈവം നമുക്കു അനുകൂലം എങ്കില് നമുക്കു പ്രതിക്കുലം ആര്?
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 118:6

31. What shall we then say unto these things? if God be on our side: who can be against us?

32. സ്വന്തപുത്രനെ ആദരിക്കാതെ നമുക്കു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഏല്പിച്ചുതന്നവന് അവനോടുകൂടെ സകലവും നമുക്കു നല്കാതിരിക്കുമോ?

32. which spared not his own son, but gave him for us all: How shall he not with him give us all things also?

33. ദൈവം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ആര് കുറ്റം ചുമത്തും? നീതീകരിക്കുന്നവന് ദൈവം.
യെശയ്യാ 50:8

33. Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's(goddes) chosen? It is God that justifieth:(maketh righteous)

34. ശിക്ഷവിധിക്കുന്നവന് ആര്? ക്രിസ്തുയേശു മരിച്ചവന് ; മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവന് തന്നേ; അവന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്കയും നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

34. who then shall condemn? it is Christ which is dead; Yea rather which is risen again, which is also on the right hand of God and maketh intercession for us.

35. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തില്നിന്നു നമ്മെ വേര്പിരിക്കുന്നതാര്? കഷ്ടതയോ സങ്കടമോ ഉപദ്രവമോ പട്ടിണിയോ നഗ്നതയോ ആപത്തോ വാളോ?

35. Who shall separate us from God's love?(the love of god) shall tribulation? or anguish? or persecution, other hunger? other nakedness? other peril? other sword?

36. “നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളെ ഇടവിടാതെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; അറുപ്പാനുള്ള ആടുകളെപ്പൊലെ ഞങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 44:22

36. As it is written: For thy sake are we killed all day long, and are counted as sheep appointed to be slain.

37. നാമോ നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചവന് മുഖാന്തരം ഇതില് ഒക്കെയും പൂര്ണ്ണജയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

37. Nevertheless in all these things we overcome strongly thorow his help that loved us.

38. മരണത്തിന്നോ ജീവന്നോ ദൂതന്മാര്ക്കോ വാഴ്ചകള്ക്കോ അധികാരങ്ങള്ക്കോ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതിന്നോ വരുവാനുള്ളതിന്നോ ഉയരത്തിന്നോ ആഴത്തിന്നോ മറ്റു യാതൊരു സൃഷ്ടിക്കോ

38. Yea and I am sure that neither death, neither life, neither angel,(angels) nor rule, neither power, neither things present, neither things to come,

39. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തില് നിന്നു നമ്മെ വേറുപിരിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

39. neither height, neither lowth, neither any other creature shall be able to depart us from God's love,(the love of God) which is(shewed) in Christ Jesu our Lord.
