1. ആകയാല് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ സ്നേഹിച്ചു അവന്റെ പ്രമാണവും ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും കല്പനകളും എല്ലായ്പോഴും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

1. Therefore, thou shalt love the LORD thy God and keep his charge and his statutes and his rights and his commandments, always.

2. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ശിക്ഷ, അവന്റെ മഹത്വം, അവന്റെ ബലമുള്ള കൈ, അവന്റെ നീട്ടിയ ഭുജം,

2. And know ye this day; for [I speak] not with your children who have not known and who have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,

3. അവന് മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടും അവന്റെ സകലദേശത്തോടും ചെയ്ത അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങള്, അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്,

3. and his miracles and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh, the king of Egypt and unto all his land,

4. അവന് മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ സൈന്യത്തോടും കുതിരകളോടും രഥങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്തതു, അവര് നിങ്ങളെ പിന് തുടര്ന്നപ്പോള് അവന് ചെങ്കടലിലെ വെള്ളം അവരുടെ മേല് ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി ഇന്നുവരെ കാണുന്നതു പോലെ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചതു,

4. and what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses and to their chariots, how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you and [how] the LORD has destroyed them unto this day,

5. നിങ്ങള് ഇവിടെ വരുവോളം മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവന് നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തതു,

5. and what he did with you in the wilderness until ye came into this place,

6. അവന് രൂബേന്റെ മകനായ എലീയാബിന്റെ മക്കളായ ദാഥാനോടും അബീരാമിനോടും ചെയ്തതു, ഭൂമി വാ പിളര്ന്നു അവരെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്യരുടെയും മദ്ധ്യേ അവര്ക്കുംള്ള സകലജീവികളെയും വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞതു എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ളവ അറിയാത്തവരും കാണാത്തവരുമായ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളോടല്ല ഞാന് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് ഇന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്വിന് .

6. and what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up and their households and their tents and all the substance that [was] in their possession in the midst of all Israel;

7. യഹോവ ചെയ്ത മഹാപ്രവൃത്തികളൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള് കണ്ണാലെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

7. but your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

8. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് ബലപ്പെടുവാനും നിങ്ങള് കൈവശമാക്കുവാന് കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ദേശം ചെന്നടക്കുവാനും

8. Keep, therefore, all the commandments which I command you this day that ye may be strong and enter in and inherit the land, into which ye go to inherit it

9. യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും അവരുടെ സന്തതിക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശമായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള് ദീര്ഘായുസ്സോടിരിപ്പാനുമായി ഇന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടപ്പിന് .

9. and that ye may prolong [your] days in the land, which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that flows with milk and honey.

10. നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാന് ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശം നീ വിട്ടുപോകുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശംപോലെയല്ല; അവിടെ നീ വിത്തു വിതെച്ചിട്ടു പച്ചക്കറിത്തോട്ടംപോലെ നിന്റെ കാലുകൊണ്ടു നനെക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു.

10. For the land, into which thou goest to inherit it, is not as the land of Egypt, from which ye came out, where thou didst sow thy seed and water [it] with thy foot, as a garden of herbs.

11. നിങ്ങള് കൈവശമാക്കുവാന് ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശമോ മലകളും താഴ്വരകളും ഉള്ളതായി ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു പെയ്യുന്ന മഴവെള്ളം കുടിക്കുന്നതും

11. The land, into which ye go to inherit it, is a land of mountains and valleys [and] drinks water of the rain of heaven,

12. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശമാകുന്നു. ആണ്ടിന്റെ ആരംഭംമുതല് അവസാനംവരെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി എപ്പോഴും അതിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

12. a land which the LORD thy God procures; the eyes of the LORD thy God [are] always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

13. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നിങ്ങള് സ്നേഹിക്കയും പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂര്ണ്ണമനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ അവനെ സേവിക്കയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ കല്പനകള് ജാഗ്രതയോടെ അനുസരിച്ചാല്

13. And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day: to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul

14. ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും എണ്ണയും ശേഖരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് തക്കസമയത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടുന്ന മുന് മഴയും പിന് മഴയും പെയ്യിക്കും.
യാക്കോബ് 5:7

14. that I will give [you] the rain of your land in its due season, the early rain and the latter rain, and thou shalt gather in thy grain and thy wine and thine oil.

15. ഞാന് നിന്റെ നിലത്തു നിന്റെ നാല്ക്കാലികള്ക്കു പുല്ലും തരും; നീ തൃപ്തിയാകുംവണ്ണം ഭക്ഷിക്കും.

15. And I will send grass in thy fields for thy beasts, and thou shalt eat and be full.

16. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നു ഭോഷത്വം പറ്റുകയും നിങ്ങള് നേര്വഴി വിട്ടു അന്യ ദൈവങ്ങളെ സേവിച്ചു നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാന് സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

16. Keep yourselves, therefore, that your heart not be deceived and ye turn aside and serve other gods and worship them;

17. അല്ലാഞ്ഞാല് യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധം നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചിട്ടു മഴ പെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ആകാശത്തെ അടെച്ചുകളകയും ഭൂമി അനുഭവം തരാതിരിക്കയും യഹോവ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്ന നല്ല ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിങ്ങള് വേഗം നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യും.

17. and [then] the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you and he shut up the heavens, that there be no rain and that the land yield not her fruit, and [lest] ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.

18. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും മനസ്സിലും സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈമേല് അടയാളമായി കെട്ടുകയും അവ നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകള്ക്കു മദ്ധ്യേ പട്ടമായിരിക്കയും വേണം.

18. Therefore, ye shall lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul and bind them for a sign upon your hand that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

19. വീട്ടില് ഇരിക്കുമ്പോഴും വഴി നടക്കുമ്പോഴും കിടക്കുമ്പോഴും എഴുന്നേലക്കുമ്പോഴും നിങ്ങള് അവയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കു അവയെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണം.

19. And ye shall teach them to your children that ye may think of them sitting in thy house and walking by the way, lying down in bed, and rising up.

20. യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളും ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളം ദീര്ഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

20. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house and upon thy gates

21. അവയെ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്റെ കട്ടിളകളിന് മേലും പടിവാതിലുകളിലും എഴുതേണം.

21. that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, upon the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens upon the earth.

22. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന ഈ സകലകല്പനകളും ജാഗ്രതയോടെ പ്രമാണിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ സ്നേഹിക്കയും അവന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും നടന്നു അവനോടു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

22. For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, loving the LORD your God [and] walking in all his ways, to cleave unto him,

23. യഹോവ ഈ ജാതികളെയെല്ലാം നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിങ്ങളെക്കാള് വലിപ്പവും ബലവുമുള്ള ജാതികളുടെ ദേശം നിങ്ങള് കൈവശമാക്കും.

23. then the LORD will drive out all these Gentiles from before you, and ye shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളങ്കാല് ചവിട്ടുന്ന ഇടമൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിര് മരുഭൂമിമുതല് ലെബാനോന് വരെയും ഫ്രാത്ത് നദിമുതല് പടിഞ്ഞാറെ കടല്വരെയും ആകും.

24. Every place upon which the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours, from the wilderness and Lebanon; from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the western sea shall be your border.

25. ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് നില്ക്കയില്ല; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവന് നിങ്ങളെയുള്ള പേടിയും ഭീതിയും നിങ്ങള് ചെല്ലുന്ന സകലദിക്കിലും വരുത്തും.

25. No one shall be able to stand before you; [for] the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he has said unto you.

26. ഇതാ, ഞാന് ഇന്നു അനുഗ്രഹവും ശാപവും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് വെക്കുന്നു.

26. Behold, I set before you this day the blessing and the curse:

27. ഇന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകള് നിങ്ങള് അനുസരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് അനുഗ്രഹവും

27. The blessing if ye hear the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day,

28. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകള് അനുസരിക്കാതെ ഇന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന വഴിയെ വിട്ടുമാറി നിങ്ങള് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അന്യദൈവങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലുന്നു എങ്കില് ശാപവും വരും.

28. and the curse if ye will not hear the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

29. നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാന് ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ കടത്തിയശേഷം ഗെരിസീംമലമേല്വെച്ചു അനുഗ്രഹവും ഏബാല്മലമേല്വെച്ചു ശാപവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണം.
യോഹന്നാൻ 4:20

29. And it shall come to pass when the LORD thy God has brought thee in unto the land where thou goest to inherit it that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim and the curse upon mount Ebal,

30. അവ ഗില്ഗാലിന്നെതിരായി മോരെ തോപ്പിന്നരികെ അരാബയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന കനാന്യരുടെ ദേശത്തു യോര്ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ പടിഞ്ഞാറല്ലോ ഉള്ളതു.

30. which are on the other side of the Jordan, by the way of the west, in the land of the Canaanite, who dwells in the plain over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh.

31. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് യോര്ദ്ദാന് കടന്നുചെന്നു അതിനെ അടക്കി അവിടെ പാര്ക്കും.

31. For ye shall pass the Jordan to go in to inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you, and ye shall possess it and dwell therein.

32. ഞാന് ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് വെക്കുന്ന എല്ലാചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നിങ്ങള് പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടക്കേണം.

32. Keep yourselves, therefore, to do all the statutes and rights which I set before you this day.:
