1. ഇനി സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള നമ്മുടെ സമാഗമനവും സംബന്ധിച്ചു ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു

2. that ye be not mouyd soone fro youre witt, nether be aferd, nether bi spirit, nether bi word, nether bi epistle as sent bi vs, as if the dai of the Lord be nyy.

3. ആരും ഏതുവിധേനയും നിങ്ങളെ ചതിക്കരുതു; ആദ്യമേ വിശ്വാസത്യാഗം സംഭവിക്കയും നാശയോഗ്യനും അധര്മ്മമൂര്ത്തിയുമായവന് വെളിപ്പെടുകയും വേണം.

4. that is aduersarie, and is enhaunsid ouer `al thing that is seid God, or that is worschipid, so that he sitte in the temple of God, and schewe hym silf as if he were God.

8. അപ്പോള് അധര്മ്മമൂര്ത്തി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; അവനെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശു തന്റെ വായിലെ ശ്വാസത്താല് ഒടുക്കി തന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയുടെ പ്രഭാവത്താല് നശിപ്പിക്കും.

9. അധര്മ്മമൂര്ത്തിയുടെ പ്രത്യക്ഷത നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നവര്ക്കും സാത്താന്റെ വ്യാപാരശക്തിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം വ്യാജമായ സകലശക്തിയോടും അടയാളങ്ങളോടും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളോടും അനീതിയുടെ സകല വഞ്ചനയോടും കൂടെ ആയിരിക്കും;

9. hym, whos comyng is bi the worching of Sathanas, in al vertu, and signes,

10. അവര് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം സത്യത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു കൈക്കൊള്ളായ്കയാല് തന്നേ അങ്ങനെ ഭവിക്കും.

10. and grete wondris, false, and in al disseit of wickidnesse, to hem that perischen. For that thei resseyueden not the charite of treuthe, that thei schulden be maad saaf. And therfor God schal sende to hem a worching of errour, that thei bileue to leesing,

11. സത്യത്തെ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെ അനീതിയില് രസിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും ന്യായവിധി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു

11. that alle be demed, whiche bileueden not to treuthe, but consentiden to wickidnesse.

12. ദൈവം അവര്ക്കും ഭോഷകു വിശ്വസിക്കുമാറു വ്യാജത്തിന്റെ വ്യാപാരശക്തി അയക്കുന്നു.

12. But, britheren louyd of God, we owen to do thankyngis euermore to God for you, that God chees vs the firste fruytis in to heelthe, in halewing of spirit and in feith of treuthe;

13. ഞങ്ങളോ, കര്ത്താവിന്നു പ്രിയരായ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ ആദിമുതല് ആത്മാവിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിലും സത്യത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിലും രക്ഷെക്കായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തെ എപ്പോഴും സ്തുതിപ്പാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. Therfor, britheren, stonde ye, and holde ye the tradiciouns, that ye han lerud, ethir bi word, ethir bi oure pistle.

15. ആകയാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് ഉറെച്ചുനിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് വാക്കിനാലോ ലേഖനത്താലോ ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്ന പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ മുറുകെ പിടിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

15. And oure Lord Jhesu Crist him silf, and God oure fadir, which louyde vs, and yaf euerlastinge coumfort and good hope in grace, stire youre hertis,

16. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുതാനും നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു നിത്യാശ്വാസവും നല്ല പ്രത്യാശയും കൃപയാലെ നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവവും

16. and conferme in al good werk and word.
