1. അപ്പോള് പത്തുകൊമ്പും ഏഴു തലയും കൊമ്പുകളില് പത്തു രാജമുടിയും തലയില് നിന്നു കയറുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു.

1. I stood on the sand by the sea-shore. There I saw a wild animal coming up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns with a crown on each horn. There were names on each head that spoke bad words against God.

2. ഞാന് കണ്ട മൃഗം പുള്ളിപ്പുലിക്കു സദൃശവും അതിന്റെ കാല് കരടിയുടെ കാല്പോലെയും വായ് സിംഹത്തിന്റെ വായ് പോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു. അതിന്നു മഹാസര്പ്പം തന്റെ ശക്തിയും സിംഹാസനവും വലിയ അധികാരവും കൊടുത്തു.

2. The wild animal I saw was covered with spots. It had feet like those of a bear. It had a mouth like that of a lion. The snakelike animal gave this wild animal his own power and his own throne as king. The wild animal was given much power.

3. അതിന്റെ തലകളില് ഒന്നു മരണകരമായ മുറിവേറ്റതുപോലെ ഞാന് കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ മരണകരമായ മുറിവു പൊറുത്തുപോയി; സര്വ്വഭൂമിയും മൃഗത്തെ കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിച്ചു.

3. One of the heads of the wild animal looked as if it had been killed. But the bad cut given to kill him was healed. The whole world was surprised and wondered about this, and they followed after the wild animal.

4. മൃഗത്തിന്നു അധികാരം കൊടുത്തതു കൊണ്ടു അവര് മഹാസര്പ്പത്തെ നമസ്ക്കുരിച്ചുമൃഗത്തോടു തുല്യന് ആര്? അതിനോടു പൊരുവാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു മൃഗത്തെയും നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

4. They worshiped the snakelike animal for giving this wild animal such power. And they worshiped this wild animal. They said, 'Who is like this wild animal? Who can fight against it?'

5. വമ്പും ദൂഷണവും സംസാരിക്കുന്ന വായ് അതിന്നു ലഭിച്ചു; നാല്പത്തിരണ്ടു മാസം പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പാന് അധികാരവും ലഭിച്ചു.

5. The animal was given a mouth which spoke words full of pride and it spoke very bad things against the Lord. It was given much power for forty-two months.

6. അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെയും അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തെയും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് വസിക്കുന്നവരെയും ദുഷിപ്പാന് ദൈവദൂഷണത്തിന്നായി വായ്തുറന്നു.

6. And it opened its mouth speaking very bad things against God. It spoke against God's name and His house and against those living in heaven.

7. വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു അവരെ ജയിപ്പാനും അതിന്നു അധികാരം ലഭിച്ചു; സകല ഗോത്രത്തിന്മേലും വംശത്തിന്മേലും ഭാഷമേലും ജാതിമേലും അധികാരവും ലഭിച്ചു.

7. It was allowed to fight against the people who belong to God, and it had power to win over them. It had power over every family and every group of people and over people of every language and every nation.

8. Every person on the earth from the beginning of the world whose name has not been written in the book of life of the Lamb Who was killed will worship this animal.

10. അടിമയാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നവന് അടിമയായിപ്പോകും; വാള്കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുന്നവന് വാളാല് മരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഇവിടെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഹിഷ്ണുതയും വിശ്വാസവും കൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യം.

10. Whoever is to be tied and held will be held. Whoever kills with a sword must himself be killed with a sword. Now is when God's people must have faith and not give up.

11. മറ്റൊരു മൃഗം ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നു കയറുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു; അതിന്നു കുഞ്ഞാടിന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ രണ്ടു കൊമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതു മഹാ സര്പ്പം എന്നപോലെ സംസാരിച്ചു.

11. Then I saw another wild animal coming out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb. His voice was like that of the snake-like animal.

12. അതു ഒന്നാമത്തെ മൃഗത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അതിന്റെ അധികാരം എല്ലാം നടത്തി ഭൂമിയെയും അതില് വസിക്കുന്നവരെയും മരണകരമായ മുറിവു പൊറുത്തുപോയ ഒന്നാം മൃഗത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

12. He used the power of the first wild animal who was there with him. He made all the people on earth worship the first wild animal who had received the bad cut to kill him but was healed.

13. അതു മനുഷ്യര് കാണ്കെ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു തീ ഇറങ്ങുമാറു വലിയ അടയാളങ്ങള് പ്രവൃത്തിക്കയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് പ്രവൃത്തിപ്പാന് തനിക്കു ബലം കിട്ടിയ അടയാളങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു ഭൂവാസികളെ തെറ്റിക്കുകയും വാളാല് മുറിവേറ്റിട്ടും ജീവിച്ച മൃഗത്തിന്നു പ്രതിമ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാന് ഭൂവാസികളോടു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

13. The second wild animal did great powerful works. It spoke and made those who did not worship the first wild animal to be killed.

14. മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമ സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമയെ നമസ്കരിക്കാത്തവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൊല്ലിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമെക്കു ആത്മാവിനെ കൊടുപ്പാന് അതിന്നു ബലം ലഭിച്ചു.

14. He fooled the men of the earth by doing powerful works. He did these things in front of the first wild animal. He told those who live on the earth to make a god that looks like the first wild animal. The first wild animal was the one that was cut by the sword but lived.

15. അതു ചെറിയവരും വലിയവരും സമ്പന്നന്മാരും ദരിദ്രന്മാരും സ്വതന്ത്രന്മാരും ദാസന്മാരുമായ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും വലങ്കൈമേലോ നെറ്റിയിലോ മുദ്ര കിട്ടു മാറും

15. The second wild animal was given power to give life to the false god. This false god was the one that was made to look like the first wild animal. It was given power to talk. All those who did not worship it would die.

16. മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പേരോ പേരിന്റെ സംഖ്യയോ ആയ മുദ്രയുള്ളവനല്ലാതെ വാങ്ങുകയോ വിലക്കുകയോ ചെയ്വാന് വഹിയാതെയും ആക്കുന്നു.

16. The second wild animal made every person have a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. It was given to important men and to those not important, to rich men and poor men, to those who are free and to those who are servants.

17. ഇവിടെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യം. ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് മൃഗത്തിന്റെ സംഖ്യ ഗണിക്കട്ടെഅതു ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ സംഖ്യയത്രെ. അതിന്റെ സംഖ്യ അറുനൂറ്ററുപത്താറു.

17. No one could buy or sell anything unless he had the mark on him. This mark was the name of the first wild animal or another way to write his name.
