1. അപ്പോള് പത്തുകൊമ്പും ഏഴു തലയും കൊമ്പുകളില് പത്തു രാജമുടിയും തലയില് നിന്നു കയറുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു.

1. And I stood on the sea sand.(see sonde) And I saw a beast rise out of the sea, having seven heads, and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his head, the name of blasphemy.

2. ഞാന് കണ്ട മൃഗം പുള്ളിപ്പുലിക്കു സദൃശവും അതിന്റെ കാല് കരടിയുടെ കാല്പോലെയും വായ് സിംഹത്തിന്റെ വായ് പോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു. അതിന്നു മഹാസര്പ്പം തന്റെ ശക്തിയും സിംഹാസനവും വലിയ അധികാരവും കൊടുത്തു.
ദാനീയേൽ 7:4-6

2. And the beast which I saw, was like a cat of the mountain, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth(mowth) as the mouth(mowth) of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his seat, and great authority:(auctorite)

3. അതിന്റെ തലകളില് ഒന്നു മരണകരമായ മുറിവേറ്റതുപോലെ ഞാന് കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ മരണകരമായ മുറിവു പൊറുത്തുപോയി; സര്വ്വഭൂമിയും മൃഗത്തെ കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിച്ചു.

3. and I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered at the beast,

4. മൃഗത്തിന്നു അധികാരം കൊടുത്തതു കൊണ്ടു അവര് മഹാസര്പ്പത്തെ നമസ്ക്കുരിച്ചുമൃഗത്തോടു തുല്യന് ആര്? അതിനോടു പൊരുവാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു മൃഗത്തെയും നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

4. and they worshipped the dragon, which gave power unto the beast, and they worshipped the beast saying: who is like unto the beast? who is able to war with him?

5. വമ്പും ദൂഷണവും സംസാരിക്കുന്ന വായ് അതിന്നു ലഭിച്ചു; നാല്പത്തിരണ്ടു മാസം പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പാന് അധികാരവും ലഭിച്ചു.

5. And there was a mouth(mowth) given unto him that spake great things, and blasphemies, and power was given unto him, to continue(do) forty two months.

6. അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെയും അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തെയും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് വസിക്കുന്നവരെയും ദുഷിപ്പാന് ദൈവദൂഷണത്തിന്നായി വായ്തുറന്നു.

6. And he opened his mouth(mowth) unto blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7. വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു അവരെ ജയിപ്പാനും അതിന്നു അധികാരം ലഭിച്ചു; സകല ഗോത്രത്തിന്മേലും വംശത്തിന്മേലും ഭാഷമേലും ജാതിമേലും അധികാരവും ലഭിച്ചു.

7. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to over come them. And power was given him over all kindred, tongue, and nation:

8. ലോകസ്ഥാപനം മുതല് അറുക്കപ്പെട്ട കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ ജീവപുസ്തകത്തില് പേര് എഴുതീട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഭൂവാസികള് ഒക്കെയും അതിനെ നമസ്കരിക്കും.

8. and all that dwell upon the earth worshipped him: whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb, which was killed from the beginning of the world.

9. ചെവിയുള്ളവന് കേള്ക്കട്ടെ.

9. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10. അടിമയാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നവന് അടിമയായിപ്പോകും; വാള്കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുന്നവന് വാളാല് മരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഇവിടെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഹിഷ്ണുതയും വിശ്വാസവും കൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യം.

10. He that leadeth into captivity, shall go into captivity: he that killeth with a sword, must be killed with a sword. Here is the patience, and the faith(fayght) of the saints.(saynctes)

11. മറ്റൊരു മൃഗം ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നു കയറുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു; അതിന്നു കുഞ്ഞാടിന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ രണ്ടു കൊമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതു മഹാ സര്പ്പം എന്നപോലെ സംസാരിച്ചു.

11. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as did the dragon.

12. അതു ഒന്നാമത്തെ മൃഗത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അതിന്റെ അധികാരം എല്ലാം നടത്തി ഭൂമിയെയും അതില് വസിക്കുന്നവരെയും മരണകരമായ മുറിവു പൊറുത്തുപോയ ഒന്നാം മൃഗത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

12. And he did all that the first beast could do in his presence, and he caused the earth, and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13. അതു മനുഷ്യര് കാണ്കെ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു തീ ഇറങ്ങുമാറു വലിയ അടയാളങ്ങള് പ്രവൃത്തിക്കയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് പ്രവൃത്തിപ്പാന് തനിക്കു ബലം കിട്ടിയ അടയാളങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു ഭൂവാസികളെ തെറ്റിക്കുകയും വാളാല് മുറിവേറ്റിട്ടും ജീവിച്ച മൃഗത്തിന്നു പ്രതിമ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാന് ഭൂവാസികളോടു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

13. And he did great wonders, so that he made fire come down from heaven in the sight of men.

14. മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമ സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമയെ നമസ്കരിക്കാത്തവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൊല്ലിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമെക്കു ആത്മാവിനെ കൊടുപ്പാന് അതിന്നു ബലം ലഭിച്ചു.

14. And deceived them that dwelt on the earth, by the means of those signs which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwelt on the earth: that they should make an image unto the beast, which had the wound of a sword, and did live.

15. അതു ചെറിയവരും വലിയവരും സമ്പന്നന്മാരും ദരിദ്രന്മാരും സ്വതന്ത്രന്മാരും ദാസന്മാരുമായ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും വലങ്കൈമേലോ നെറ്റിയിലോ മുദ്ര കിട്ടു മാറും

15. And he had power to give a spirit unto the image of the beast, and that the image of the beast should speak, and should cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, should be killed.

16. മൃഗത്തിന്റെ പേരോ പേരിന്റെ സംഖ്യയോ ആയ മുദ്രയുള്ളവനല്ലാതെ വാങ്ങുകയോ വിലക്കുകയോ ചെയ്വാന് വഹിയാതെയും ആക്കുന്നു.

16. And he made all men,(both) small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hands,(hondes) or in their foreheads.

17. ഇവിടെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യം. ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് മൃഗത്തിന്റെ സംഖ്യ ഗണിക്കട്ടെഅതു ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ സംഖ്യയത്രെ. അതിന്റെ സംഖ്യ അറുനൂറ്ററുപത്താറു.

17. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, other the number of his name.
