2. നീ ശക്തിയില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്തു സഹായം ചെയ്തു? ബലമില്ലാത്ത ഭുജത്തെ എങ്ങനെ താങ്ങി?

3. ജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്താലോചന പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു? ജ്ഞാനം എത്ര ധാരാളം ഉപദേശിച്ചു?

3. You give such good advice and share your knowledge with a fool like me!

4. ആരെയാകുന്നു നീ വാക്യം കേള്പ്പിച്ചതു? ആരുടെ ശ്വാസം നിന്നില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു;

4. Who do you think will hear all your words? Who inspired you to speak like this?

5. വെള്ളത്തിന്നും അതിലെ നിവാസികള്ക്കും കീഴെ പ്രേതങ്ങള് നൊന്തു നടുങ്ങുന്നു.

6. The world of the dead lies open to God; no covering shields it from his sight.

7. ഉത്തരദിക്കിനെ അവന് ശൂന്യത്തിന്മേല് വിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ നാസ്തിത്വത്തിന്മേല് തൂക്കുന്നു.

7. God stretched out the northern sky and hung the earth in empty space.

8. അവന് വെള്ളത്തെ മേഘങ്ങളില് കെട്ടിവെക്കുന്നു; അതു വഹിച്ചിട്ടു കാര്മുകില് കീറിപ്പോകുന്നതുമില്ല.

8. It is God who fills the clouds with water and keeps them from bursting with the weight.

9. തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ ദര്ശനം അവന് മറെച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അതിന്മേല് തന്റെ മേഘം വിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. He hides the full moon behind a cloud.

10. അവന് വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെയും ഇരുട്ടിന്റെയും അറ്റത്തോളം വെള്ളത്തിന്മേല് ഒരു അതിര് വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. He divided light from darkness by a circle drawn on the face of the sea.

11. ആകാശത്തിന്റെ തൂണുകള് കുലുങ്ങുന്നു; അവന്റെ തര്ജ്ജനത്താല് അവ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നു.

11. When he threatens the pillars that hold up the sky, they shake and tremble with fear.

12. അവന് തന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു സമുദ്രത്തെ ഇളക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ വിവേകംകൊണ്ടു രഹബിനെ തകര്ക്കുംന്നു.

12. It is his strength that conquered the sea; by his skill he destroyed the monster Rahab.

13. അവന്റെ ശ്വാസത്താല് ആകാശം ശോഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൈ വിദ്രുതസര്പ്പത്തെ കുത്തിത്തുളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. It is his breath that made the sky clear, and his hand that killed the escaping monster.

14. എന്നാല് ഇവ അവന്റെ വഴികളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളത്രേ; നാം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു മന്ദസ്വരമേ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളു. അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ ഇടിമുഴക്കമോ ആര് ഗ്രഹിക്കും?

14. But these are only hints of his power, only the whispers that we have heard. Who can know how truly great God is?
