2. Hast thou noumbrid the monethis of her conseyuyng, and hast thou knowe the tyme of her caluyng?

3. അവ കുനിഞ്ഞു കുട്ടികളെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു; ക്ഷണത്തില് വേദന കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു.

4. അവയുടെ കുട്ടികള് ബലപ്പെട്ടു കാട്ടില് വളരുന്നു; അവ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകുന്നു; മടങ്ങിവരുന്നതുമില്ല.

7. അതു പട്ടണത്തിലെ ആരവം കേട്ടു ചിരിക്കുന്നു; തെളിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഒച്ച കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

10. കാട്ടു പോത്തിനെ നിനക്കു കയറിട്ടു ഉഴവിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോകാമോ? അതു നിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നിലം നിരത്തുമോ?

10. Whether thou schalt bynde the vnicorn with thi chayne, for to ere, ethir schal he breke the clottis of valeis aftir thee?

11. അതിന്റെ ശക്തി വലുതാകയാല് നീ അതിനെ വിശ്വസിക്കുമോ? നിന്റെ വേല നീ അതിന്നു ഭരമേല്പിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുമോ?

11. Whether thou schalt haue trist in his grete strengthe, and schalt thou leeue to hym thi traueils?

12. അതു നിന്റെ വിത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരുമെന്നും നിന്റെ കളപ്പുരയില് കൂട്ടുമെന്നും നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുമോ?

12. Whether thou schalt bileue to hym, that he schal yelde seed to thee, and schal gadere togidere thi cornfloor?

13. ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷി ഉല്ലസിച്ചു ചിറകു വീശുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ചിറകും തൂവലുംകൊണ്ടു വാത്സല്യം കാണിക്കുമോ?

14. അതു നിലത്തു മുട്ട ഇട്ടേച്ചുപോകുന്നു; അവയെ പൊടിയില് വെച്ചു വിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. which ostrige forsakith hise eirun in the erthe, in hap thou schalt make tho hoot in the dust.

15. കാല്കൊണ്ടു അവ ഉടഞ്ഞുപോയേക്കുമെന്നോ കാട്ടുമൃഗം അവയെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞേക്കുമെന്നോ അതു ഔര്ക്കുംന്നില്ല.

16. അതു തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളോടു തനിക്കുള്ളവയല്ല എന്നപോലെ കാഠിന്യം കാണിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ പ്രയത്നം വ്യര്ത്ഥമായ്പോകുമെന്നു ഭയപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.

19. കുതിരെക്കു നീയോ ശക്തി കൊടുത്തതു? അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തിന്നു നീയോ കുഞ്ചിരോമം അണിയിച്ചതു?

19. Whether thou schalt yyue strengthe to an hors, ether schal yyue neiyng `aboute his necke?

20. നിനക്കു അതിനെ വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ ചാടിക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ ഹുങ്കാരപ്രതാപം ഭയങ്കരം.

20. Whether thou schalt reyse hym as locustis? The glorie of hise nosethirlis is drede.

21. അതു താഴ്വരയില് മാന്തി ഊക്കോടെ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു. അതു ആയുധപാണികളെ എതിര്ത്തുചെല്ലുന്നു.

21. He diggith erthe with the foot, he `fulli ioieth booldli; he goith ayens armed men.

22. അതു കൂശാതെ ഭയത്തെ പുച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; വാളിനോടു പിന് വാങ്ങി മണ്ടുന്നതുമില്ല.

22. He dispisith ferdfulnesse, and he yyueth not stide to swerd.

23. അതിന്നു എതിരെ ആവനാഴിയും മിന്നുന്ന കുന്തവും ശൂലവും കിലുകിലുക്കുന്നു.

23. An arowe caas schal sowne on hym; a spere and scheeld schal florische.

24. അതു ഉഗ്രതയും കോപവും പൂണ്ടു നിലം വിഴുങ്ങുന്നു; കാഹളനാദം കേട്ടാല് അതു അടങ്ങിനില്ക്കയില്ല.

24. He is hoot, and gnastith, and swolewith the erthe; and he arettith not that the crie of the trumpe sowneth.

25. കാഹളനാദം ധ്വനിക്കുന്തോറും അതു ഹാ, ഹാ എന്നു ചിനെക്കുന്നു; പടയും പടനായകന്മാരുടെ മുഴക്കവും ആര്പ്പും ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു മണക്കുന്നു.

27. Whether an egle schal be reisid at thi comaundement, and schal sette his nest in hiy places?

28. അതു പാറയില് കുടിയേറി രാപാര്ക്കുംന്നു; പാറമുകളിലും ദുര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും തന്നേ.

28. He dwellith in stoonys, and he dwellith in flyntis brokun bifor, and in rochis, to whiche `me may not neiye.

29. അവിടെനിന്നു അതു ഇര തിരയുന്നു; അതിന്റെ കണ്ണു ദൂരത്തേക്കു കാണുന്നു.

30. അതിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുകള് ചോര വലിച്ചു കുടിക്കുന്നു. പട്ടുപോയവര് എവിടെയോ അവിടെ അതുണ്ടു.
