1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും ഇയ്യോബിനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. Morouer, God spake vnto Iob and sayde:

2. ആക്ഷേപകന് സര്വ്വശക്തനോടു വാദിക്കുമോ? ദൈവത്തോടു തര്ക്കിക്കുന്നവന് ഇതിന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയട്ടെ.

2. Can he that stryueth with the Allmightie, be at rest? Shulde not he which disputeth with God, geue him an answere?

3. അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് യഹോവയോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു

3. Iob answered the LORDE, sayenge:

4. ഞാന് നിസ്സാരനല്ലോ, ഞാന് നിന്നോടു എന്തുത്തരം പറയേണ്ടു? ഞാന് കൈകൊണ്ടു വായി പൊത്തിക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

4. Beholde, I am to vyle a personne, to answere the, therfore will I laye my hande vpon my mouth.

5. ഒരുവട്ടം ഞാന് സംസാരിച്ചു; ഇനി ഉത്തരം പറകയില്ല. രണ്ടുവട്ടം ഞാന് ഉരചെയ്തു; ഇനി മിണ്ടുകയില്ല.

5. Once or twyse haue I spoken, but I will saye nomore.

6. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റില്നിന്നു ഇയ്യോബിനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്

6. Then spake the LORDE vnto Iob out of the storme, and sayde:

7. നീ പുരുഷനെപ്പോലെ അര മുറുക്കിക്കൊള്ക; ഞാന് നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും; നീ എനിക്കു ഗ്രഹിപ്പിച്ചുതരിക.

7. gyrde vp yi loynes like a man, and tell me the thige that I will axe the.

8. നീ എന്റെ ന്യായത്തെ ദുര്ബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുമോ? നീ നീതിമാനാകേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെ കുറ്റം പറയുമോ?

8. Wilt thou disanulle my iudgment? Or, wilt thou condemne me, yt thou thy self mayest be made rightuous?

9. ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ നിനക്കു ഭുജം ഉണ്ടോ? അവനെപ്പോലെ നിനക്കു ഇടിമുഴക്കാമോ?

9. Is thine arme then like the arme of God? Maketh thy voyce soch a soude as his doth?

10. നീ മഹിമയും പ്രതാപവും അണിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ക. തേജസ്സും പ്രഭാവവും ധരിച്ചുകൊള്ക.

10. Then arme thy self with thine owne power, vp, decke the in thy ioly araye,

11. നിന്റെ കോപപ്രവാഹങ്ങളെ ഒഴുക്കുക; ഏതു ഗര്വ്വിയെയും നോക്കി താഴ്ത്തുക.

11. poure out the indignacion of thy wrath: se that thou cast downe all ye proude,

12. ഏതു ഗര്വ്വിയെയും നോക്കി കവിഴ്ത്തുക; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ അവരുടെ നിലയില് തന്നേ വീഴ്ത്തിക്കളക.

12. loke well, that thou makest all soch as be stubburne, to obeye: treade all the vngodly vnder thy fete,

13. അവരെ ഒക്കെയും പൊടിയില് മറെച്ചുവെക്കുക; അവരുടെ മുഖങ്ങളെ മറവിടത്തു ബന്ധിച്ചുകളക.

13. cast the downe in to the myre, and couer their faces with darcknesse:

14. അപ്പോള് നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാനും നിന്നെ ശ്ളാഘിച്ചു പറയും.

14. Then will I confesse also, that thyne owne right honde hath saued the.

15. ഞാന് നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന നദീഹയമുണ്ടല്ലോ; അതു കാളയെപ്പോലെ പുല്ലുതിന്നുന്നു.

15. Beholde, the cruell beaste (whom I made wt the) which eateth haye as an oxe:

16. അതിന്റെ ശക്തി അതിന്റെ കടിപ്രദേശത്തും അതിന്റെ ബലം വയറ്റിന്റെ മാംസപേശികളിലും ആകുന്നു.

16. lo, how stronge he is in his loynes, and what power he hath in the nauell of his body.

17. ദേവദാരുതുല്യമായ തന്റെ വാല് അതു ആട്ടുന്നു; അതിന്റെ തുടയിലെ ഞരമ്പുകള് കൂടി പിണഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

17. He spredeth out his tale like a Cedre tre, all his vaynes are stiff.

18. അതിന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് ചെമ്പുകുഴല്പോലെയും എല്ലുകള് ഇരിമ്പഴിപോലെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

18. His shynnes are like pipes off brasse, his rygge bones are like staues of yro

19. അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടികളില് പ്രധാനമായുള്ളതു; അതിനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയവന് അതിന്നു ഒരു വാള് കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. First when God made him, he ordened the wyldernesse for him,

20. കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളൊക്കെയും കളിക്കുന്നിടമായ പര്വ്വതങ്ങള് അതിന്നു തീന് വിളയിക്കുന്നു.

20. yt the mountaynes shulde geue him grasse, where all the beastes off the felde take their pastyme.

21. അതു നീര്മരുതിന്റെ ചുവട്ടിലും ഞാങ്ങണയുടെ മറവിലും ചതുപ്പുനിലത്തും കിടക്കുന്നു.

21. He lyeth amoge the redes in the Mosses, the fennes

22. നീര്മരുതു നിഴല്കൊണ്ടു അതിനെ മറെക്കുന്നു; തോട്ടിങ്കലെ അലരി അതിനെ ചുറ്റി നിലക്കുന്നു;

22. hyde him with their shadowe, and the wylowes of the broke couer him rounde aboute.

23. നദി കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകിയാലും അതു ഭ്രമിക്കുന്നില്ല; യോര്ദ്ദാന് അതിന്റെ വായിലേക്കു ചാടിയാലും അതു നിര്ഭയമായിരിക്കും.

23. Lo, without eny laboure might he drynke out the whole floude, and suppe off Iordane without eny trauayle.

24. അതു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ അതിനെ പിടിക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ മൂക്കില് കയര് കോര്ക്കാമോ?

24. Who darre laye honde vpon him openly, and vndertake to catch him? Or, who darre put an hoke thorow his nose, ad laye a snare for him?
