1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം

1. I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To thee, O LORD, I will sing praises.

2. ഞാന് ദയയെയും ന്യായത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു പാടും; യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു കീര്ത്തനം പാടും.

2. I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will thou come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3. ഞാന് നിഷ്കളങ്കമാര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് ശ്രദ്ധവേക്കും; എപ്പോള് നീ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും? ഞാന് എന്റെ വീട്ടില് നിഷ്കളങ്കഹൃദയത്തോടെ പെരുമാറും.

3. I will set no base thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside. It shall not cleave to me.

4. ഞാന് ഒരു നീചകാര്യം എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു മുമ്പില് വെക്കുകയില്ല; ക്രമം കെട്ടവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ഞാന് വെറുക്കുന്നു; അതു എന്നോടു ചേര്ന്നു പറ്റുകയില്ല.

4. A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will know no evil thing.

5. വക്രഹൃദയം എന്നോടു അകന്നിരിക്കും; ദുഷ്ടതയെ ഞാന് അറികയില്ല.

5. He who slanders his neighbor secretly, him I will destroy. He who has a high look and a proud heart I will not endure.

6. കൂട്ടുകാരനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഏഷണി പറയുന്നവനെ ഞാന് നശിപ്പിക്കും; ഉന്നതഭാവവും നിഗളഹൃദയവും ഉള്ളവനെ ഞാന് സഹായിക്കയില്ല.

6. My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he shall minister to me.

7. ദേശത്തിലെ വിശ്വസ്തന്മാര് എന്നോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി അവരുടെമേല് ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നിഷ്കളങ്കമാര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നടക്കുന്നവന് എന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കും.

7. He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood shall not be established before my eyes.

8. വഞ്ചനചെയ്യുന്നവന് എന്റെ വീട്ടില് വസിക്കയില്ല; ഭോഷകു പറയുന്നവന് എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കയില്ല.

8. Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of LORD.
