1. അരിഷ്ടന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന; അവന് ക്ഷീണിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ സങ്കടത്തെ പകരുമ്പോള് കഴിച്ചതു.

1. A prayer of the afflicted, when he was in woe, and poured out his complaint before the LORD. Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my crying come unto thee.

2. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ നിലവിളി തിരുസന്നിധിയില് വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2. Hide not thy face from me in the time of my trouble incline thine ears unto me when I call, O hear me and that right soon.

3. കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില് നിന്റെ മുഖം എനിക്കു മറെക്കരുതേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് വിളിക്കുന്ന നാളില് വേഗത്തില് എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

3. For my days are consumed away like smoke, and my bones are brent up as it were a fire brand.

4. എന്റെ നാളുകള് പുകപോലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് തീക്കൊള്ളിപോല വെന്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
യാക്കോബ് 1:10-11

4. My heart is smitten down and withered like grass, so that I forget to eat my bread.

5. എന്റെ ഹൃദയം അരിഞ്ഞ പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഭക്ഷണംകഴിപ്പാന് മറന്നുപോകുന്നു.

5. For the voice of my groaning, my bone will scarce cleave to my flesh.

6. എന്റെ ഞരക്കത്തിന്റെ ഒച്ചനിമിത്തം എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് മാംസത്തോടു പറ്റുന്നു.

6. I am become like a pelican in the wilderness, and like an owl in a broken wall.

7. ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വേഴാമ്പല്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; ശൂന്യസ്ഥലത്തെ മൂങ്ങാപോലെ തന്നേ.

7. I wake, and am even as it were a sparrow sitting alone upon the house top.

8. ഞാന് ഉറക്കിളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വീട്ടിന്മുകളില് തനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കുരികില് പോലെ ആകുന്നു.

8. Mine enemies revile me all the day long, they laugh me to scorn, and are sworn together against me.

9. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ഇടവിടാതെ എന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു ചീറുന്നവര് എന്റെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി ശപിക്കുന്നു.

9. I eat ashes with my bread, and mingle my drink with weeping;

10. ഞാന് അപ്പംപോലെ ചാരം തിന്നുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനീയത്തില് കണ്ണുനീര് കലക്കുന്നു;

10. And that because of thine indignation and wrath, for thou hast taken me up, and cast me away.

11. നിന്റെ കോപവും ക്രോധവും ഹേതുവായിട്ടു തന്നേ; നീ എന്നെ എടുത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
യാക്കോബ് 1:10-11

11. My days are gone like a shadow, and I am withered like grass.

12. എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴല് പോലെയാകുന്നു; ഞാന് പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.

12. But thou, O LORD, endurest for ever, and thy remembrance thorowout all generations.

13. നീയോ, യഹോവേ, എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളവന് ; നിന്റെ നാമം തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിലനിലക്കുന്നു.

13. Arise therefore and have mercy upon Sion, for it is time to have mercy upon her, yea, the time is come.

14. നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സീയോനോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും; അവളോടു കൃപ കാണിപ്പാനുള്ള കാലം, അതേ, അതിന്നു സമയം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. And why? thy servants have a love to her stones, and it pitieth them to see her in the dust.

15. നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കും അവളുടെ കല്ലുകളോടു താല്പര്യവും അവളുടെ പൂഴിയോടു അലിവും തോന്നുന്നു.

15. The Heathen shall fear thy name, O LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy majesty.

16. യഹോവ സീയോനെ പണികയും തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തില് പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകയും

16. For the LORD shall build up Sion, and shall appear in his glory.

17. അവന് അഗതികളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കടാക്ഷിക്കയും അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നിരസിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു

17. He turneth him to the prayer of the poor destitute, and despiseth not their desire.

18. ജാതികള് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും നിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെയും ഭയപ്പെടും.

18. This shall be written for those that come after, that the people which shall be born, may praise the LORD.

19. വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന തലമുറെക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇതു എഴുതിവേക്കും; സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള ജനം യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

19. For he looketh down from his Sanctuary, out of the heaven doth the LORD behold the earth.

20. യഹോവയെ സേവിപ്പാന് ജാതികളും രാജ്യങ്ങളും കൂടി വന്നപ്പോള്

20. That he may hear the mournings of such as be in captivity, and deliver the children of death.

21. സീയോനില് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും യെരൂശലേമില് അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

21. That they may preach the name of the LORD in Sion, and his worship at Jerusalem.

22. ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഞരക്കം കേള്പ്പാനും മരണത്തിന്നു നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ വിടുവിപ്പാനും

22. When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms also to serve the LORD.

23. യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമായ ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഭൂമിയെ തൃക്കണ്പാര്ത്തുവല്ലോ.

23. He hath brought down my strength in my journey, and shortened my days.

24. അവന് വഴിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന് എന്റെ നാളുകളെ ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. Yet will I say: O my God, take me not away in the middest of my age: as for thy years, they endure thorowout all generations.

25. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ആയുസ്സിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തില് എന്നെ എടുത്തുകളയരുതേ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 1:10-12

25. Thou LORD in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands.

26. പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തു നീ ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനമായിട്ടു; ആകാശം നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 1:10-12

26. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: they all shall wax old as doth a garment, and as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.

27. അവ നശിക്കും നീയോ നിലനിലക്കും; അവയെല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും; ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ മാറ്റും; അവ മാറിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.

27. But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

28. നീയോ അനന്യനാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല.

28. The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall prosper in thy sight.
