1. ദൈവം ഇല്ല എന്നു മൂഢന് തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് പറയുന്നു; അവര് വഷളന്മാരായി മ്ളേച്ഛത പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു; നന്മചെയ്യുന്നവന് ആരുമില്ല.
റോമർ 3:10-12

1. To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good.

2. ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമാനുണ്ടോ എന്നു കാണ്മാന് യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ നോക്കുന്നു.

2. Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

3. എല്ലാവരും വഴിതെറ്റി ഒരുപോലെ കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരായിത്തീര്ന്നു; നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നവനില്ല; ഒരുത്തന് പോലുമില്ല.

3. They have all gone aside, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.

4. നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവര് ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ അവര് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു; യഹോവയോടു അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നില്ല.

4. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people [as] they eat bread? They call not upon Jehovah.

5. അവര് അവിടെ അത്യന്തം ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ തലമുറയില് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

5. There were they in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.

6. നിങ്ങള് ദരിദ്രന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ അവന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.

6. Ye have shamed the counsel of the afflicted, because Jehovah [was] his refuge.

7. സീയോനില്നിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രക്ഷവന്നെങ്കില്! യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റുമ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സന്തോഷിക്കയും യിസ്രായേല് ആനന്ദിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
റോമർ 11:26-27

7. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.
