1. TO THE CHOIRMASTER. OF DAVID, THE SERVANT OF THE LORD. Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.

2. തന്റെ കുറ്റം തെളിഞ്ഞു വെറുപ്പായ്തീരുകയില്ല എന്നിങ്ങനെ അവ തന്നോടു തന്നേ മധുരവാക്കു പറയുന്നു.

2. For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.

3. അവന്റെ വായിലെ വാക്കുകള് അകൃത്യവും വഞ്ചനയും ആകുന്നു; ബുദ്ധിമാനായിരിക്കുന്നതും നന്മചെയ്യുന്നതും അവന് വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good.

4. അവന് തന്റെ കിടക്കമേല് അകൃത്യം ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു; കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത വഴിയില് അവന് നിലക്കുന്നു; ദോഷത്തെ വെറുക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

4. He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil.

5. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദയ ആകാശത്തോളവും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത മേഘങ്ങളോളവും എത്തുന്നു.

5. Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.

6. നിന്റെ നീതി ദിവ്യപര്വ്വതങ്ങളെപ്പോലെയും നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് വലിയ ആഴിയെപ്പോലെയും ആകുന്നു; യഹോവേ, നീ മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

6. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD.

7. ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ദയ എത്ര വിലയേറിയതു! മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാര് നിന്റെ ചിറകിന് നിഴലില് ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

7. How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

8. നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലെ പുഷ്ടി അവര് അനുഭവിച്ചു തൃപ്തി പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ആനന്ദനദി നീ അവരെ കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

8. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.

9. നിന്റെ പക്കല് ജീവന്റെ ഉറവുണ്ടല്ലോ; നിന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് പ്രകാശം കാണുന്നു.

9. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.

10. നിന്നെ അറിയുന്നവര്ക്കും നിന്റെ ദയയും ഹൃദയപരമാര്ത്ഥികള്ക്കു നിന്റെ നീതിയും ദീര്ഘമാക്കേണമേ.

10. Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart!

11. ഡംഭികളുടെ കാല് എന്റെ നേരെ വരരുതേ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കൈ എന്നെ ആട്ടിക്കളയരുതേ.

11. Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

12. ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാര് അവിടെത്തന്നേ വീഴുന്നുഅവര് മറിഞ്ഞു വീഴുന്നു; എഴുന്നേല്പാന് കഴിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

12. There the evildoers lie fallen; they are thrust down, unable to rise.
