1. യഹോവേ, ക്രോധത്തോടെ എന്നെ ശിക്ഷിക്കരുതേ. ഉഗ്രനീരസത്തോടെ എന്നെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കയുമരുതേ.

1. A Psalme of Dauid for remembrance. O Lord, rebuke mee not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath.

2. നിന്റെ അസ്ത്രങ്ങള് എന്നില് തറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ കൈ എന്റെ മേല് ഭാരമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. For thine arrowes haue light vpon me, and thine hand lyeth vpon me.

3. നിന്റെ നീരസം ഹേതുവായി എന്റെ ദേഹത്തില് സൌഖ്യമില്ല; എന്റെ പാപം ഹേതുവായി എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളില് സ്വസ്ഥതയുമില്ല.

3. There is nothing sound in my flesh, because of thine anger: neither is there rest in my bones because of my sinne.

4. എന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള് എന്റെ തലെക്കുമീതെ കവിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭാരമുള്ള ചുമടുപോലെ അവ എനിക്കു അതിഘനമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For mine iniquities are gone ouer mine head, and as a weightie burden they are too heauie for me.

5. എന്റെ ഭോഷത്വംഹേതുവായി എന്റെ വ്രണങ്ങള് ചീഞ്ഞുനാറുന്നു.

5. My woundes are putrified, and corrupt because of my foolishnes.

6. ഞാന് കുനിഞ്ഞു ഏറ്റവും കൂനിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഇടവിടാതെ ദുഃഖിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു.

6. I am bowed, and crooked very sore: I goe mourning all the day.

7. എന്റെ അരയില് വരള്ച നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ദേഹത്തില് സൌഖ്യമില്ല.

7. For my reines are full of burning, and there is nothing sound in my flesh.

8. ഞാന് ക്ഷീണിച്ചു അത്യന്തം തകര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ഞരക്കംനിമിത്തം ഞാന് അലറുന്നു. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ഞരക്കം നിനക്കു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

8. I am weakened and sore broken: I roare for the very griefe of mine heart.

9. എന്റെ നെഞ്ചിടിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് വശംകെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്റെ വെളിച്ചവും എനിക്കില്ലാതെയായി.

9. Lord, I powre my whole desire before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.

10. എന്റെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാരും കൂട്ടുകാരും എന്റെ ബാധ കണ്ടു മാറിനിലക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരും അകന്നുനിലക്കുന്നു.

10. Mine heart panteth: my strength faileth me, and the light of mine eyes, euen they are not mine owne.

11. എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നവര് കണിവെക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു അനര്ത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര് വേണ്ടാതനം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് ഇടവിടാതെ ചതിവു ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.

11. My louers and my friends stand aside from my plague, and my kinsmen stand a farre off.

12. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് ചെകിടനെപ്പോലെ കേള്ക്കാതെ ഇരുന്നു; വായ്തുറക്കാതെ ഊമനെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

12. They also, that seeke after my life, laye snares, and they that go about to do me euil, talke wicked things and imagine deceite continually.

13. ഞാന് , കേള്ക്കാത്ത മനുഷ്യനെപ്പോലെയും വായില് പ്രതിവാദമില്ലാത്തവനെപ്പോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.

13. But I as a deafe man heard not, and am as a dumme man, which openeth not his mouth.

14. യഹോവേ, നിങ്കല് ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവേ, നീ ഉത്തരം അരുളും.

14. Thus am I as a man, that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofes.

15. അവര് എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സന്തോഷിക്കരുതേ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ കാല് വഴുതുമ്പോള് അവര് എന്റെ നേരെ വമ്പു പറയുമല്ലോ.

15. For on thee, O Lord, do I waite: thou wilt heare me, my Lord, my God.

16. ഞാന് ഇടറി വീഴുമാറായിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ദുഃഖം എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

16. For I said, Heare me, least they reioyce ouer me: for when my foote slippeth, they extol themselues against me.

17. ഞാന് എന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തെ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നു; എന്റെ പാപത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നു.

17. Surely I am ready to halte, and my sorow is euer before me.

18. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോ ജീവനും ബലവുമുള്ളവര്. എന്നെ വെറുതെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. When I declare my paine, and am sory for my sinne,

19. ഞാന് നന്മ പിന്തുടരുകയാല് അവര് എനിക്കു വിരോധികളായി നന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

19. Then mine enemies are aliue and are mightie, and they that hate me wrongfully are many.

20. യഹോവേ, എന്നെ കൈവിടരുതേ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്നോടകന്നിരിക്കരുതേ.

20. They also, that rewarde euill for good, are mine aduersaries, because I follow goodnesse.

21. എന്റെ രക്ഷയാകുന്ന കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ സഹായത്തിന്നു വേഗം വരേണമേ.

21. Forsake me not, O Lord: be not thou farre from me, my God.
