1. മാന് നീര്ത്തോടുകളിലേക്കു ചെല്ലുവാന് കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിന്നോടു ചേരുവാന് കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

5. Why am I so sad? Why am I so upset? I tell myself, 'Wait for God's help! You will again be able to praise him, your God, the one who will save you.' In my sadness I say, 'I will remember you from here on this small hill, where Mount Hermon and the Jordan River meet.'

7. നിന്റെ നീര്ച്ചാട്ടങ്ങളുടെ ഇരെച്ചലാല് ആഴി ആഴിയെ വിളിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ഔളങ്ങളും തിരമാലകളുമെല്ലാം എന്റെ മീതെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു.

10. Their constant insults are killing me. They never stop asking, 'Where is your God?'
