1. മോശെയും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളും അന്നു യഹോവേക്കു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം പാടി ചൊല്ലിയതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു പാട്ടുപാടും, അവന് മഹോന്നതന് കുതിരയെയും അതിന്മേല് ഇരുന്നവനെയും അവന് കടലില് തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
വെളിപ്പാടു വെളിപാട് 15:3

1. Then, sang Moses, and the sons of Israel, this song unto Yahweh, and they spake, saying, I will sing to Yahweh, for he is exalted, exalted, The horse and his rider, hath he cast into the sea.

2. എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ ഗീതവും യഹോവയത്രേ; അവന് എനിക്കു രക്ഷയായ്തീര്ന്നു. അവന് എന്റെ ദൈവം; ഞാന് അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അവന് എന്റെ പിതാവിന് ദൈവം; ഞാന് അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

2. My might and melody, is Yah, And he became mine, by salvation, This, is my GOD, and I will glorify him, The God of my father and I will set him on high.

3. യഹോവ യുദ്ധവീരന് ; യഹോവ എന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം.

3. Yahweh is a warlike one, Yahweh, is his name.

4. ഫറവോന്റെ രഥങ്ങളെയും സൈന്യത്തെയും അവന് കടലില് തള്ളിയിട്ടു; അവന്റെ രഥിപ്രവരന്മാര് ചെങ്കടലില് മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

4. The chariots of Pharaoh and his train, hath he cast into the sea, Yea, the choice of his warriors, were sunk in the Sedgy Sea.

5. ആഴി അവരെ മൂടി; അവര് കല്ലുപോലെ ആഴത്തില് താണു.

5. Roaring deeps, covered them, They went down in the raging depths like a stone.

6. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ബലത്തില് മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ശത്രുവിനെ തകര്ത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

6. Thy right hand, O Yahweh is splendid in power, Thy right hand, O Yahweh dasheth in pieces a foe;

7. നീ എതിരാളികളെ മഹാപ്രഭാവത്താല് സംഹരിക്കുന്നു; നീ നിന്റെ ക്രോധം അയക്കുന്നു; അതു അവരെ താളടിയെപ്പോലെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

7. And in the greatness of thine exaltation, dost thou tear down thine opposers, Thou dost send forth thy wrath, it consumeth them as straw;

8. നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്താല് വെള്ളം കുന്നിച്ചുകൂടി; പ്രവാഹങ്ങള് ചിറപോലെ നിന്നു; ആഴങ്ങള് കടലിന്റെ ഉള്ളില് ഉറെച്ചുപോയി.

8. And with the blast of thy nostrils, heaped up are the waters, Upreared like a mound, are the flowing waves, Roaring deeps are congealed in the heart of the sea.

9. ഞാന് പിന്തുടരും, പിടിക്കും, കൊള്ള പങ്കിടും; എന്റെ ആശ അവരാല് പൂര്ത്തിയാകും; ഞാന് എന്റെ വാള് ഊരും; എന്റെ കൈ അവരെ നിഗ്രഹിക്കും എന്നു ശത്രു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. Said the fee I will pursue overtake divide spoil, Take her fill of them shall my soul, I will bare my sword, root them out shall my hand.

10. നിന്റെ കാറ്റിനെ നീ ഊതിച്ചു, കടല് അവരെ മൂടി; അവര് ഈയംപോലെ പെരുവെള്ളത്തില് താണു.

10. Thou didst blow with thy wind they were covered by the sea, They rolled like lead, into the waters so wide. Who is, like unto thee, among the mighty O Yahweh?

11. യഹോവേ, ദേവന്മാരില് നിനക്കു തുല്യന് ആര്? വിശുദ്ധിയില് മഹിമയുള്ളവനേ, സ്തുതികളില് ഭയങ്കരനേ, അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവനേ, നിനക്കു തുല്യന് ആര്?

11. Who is, like unto thee, Majestic in holiness, To be revered in praises, Doing a marvellous thing?

12. നീ വലങ്കൈ നീട്ടി, ഭൂമി അവരെ വിഴുങ്ങി.

12. Thou didst stretch forth thy right hand, earth swallowed them up.

13. നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത ജനത്തെ ദയയാല് നടത്തി; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തിലേക്കു നിന്റെ ബലത്താല് അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

13. Thou hast led forth in thy lovingkindness, the people which thou hast redeemed, Thou hast guided them in thy might into the home of thy holiness.

14. ജാതികള് കേട്ടു നടങ്ങുന്നു. ഫെലിസ്ത്യനിവാസികള്ക്കു ഭീതിപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. Peoples have heard they tremble, A pang, hath seized the dwellers of Philistia:

15. എദോമ്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് ഭ്രമിച്ചു; മോവാബ്യമുമ്പന്മാര്ക്കും കമ്പം പിടിച്ചു; കനാന്യ നിവാസികളെല്ലാം ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു.

15. Then, were amazed the chiefs of Edom, The mighty ones of Moab, there seizeth them, a trembling, Melted away, have all the dwellers of Canaan:

16. ഭയവും ഭീതിയും അവരുടെമേല് വീണു, നിന് ഭുജമാഹാത്മ്യത്താല് അവര് കല്ലുപോലെ ആയി; അങ്ങനെ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ജനം കടന്നു, നീ സമ്പാദിച്ച ജനം കടന്നു പോയി.

16. There falleth upon them a terror and dread, With the greatness of thine arm, are they struck dumb as a stone, Till thy people pass over O Yahweh, Till the people pass over, which thou hast made thine own:

17. നീ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നൊരുക്കിയ സ്ഥാനത്തു, യഹോവേ, നിന്നവകാശപര്വ്വതത്തില് നീ അവരെ നട്ടു, കര്ത്താവേ, തൃക്കൈ സ്ഥാപിച്ച വിശുദ്ധ മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കല് തന്നേ.

17. Thou bringest them in and plantest them, In the mountain of thine inheritance, Thy dwelling-place to abide in which thou hast made, O Yahweh, A hallowed place O My Lord which thy hands have established.

18. യഹോവ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും രാജാവായി വാഴും.

18. Yahweh, shall reign unto times age-abiding and beyond.

19. എന്നാല് ഫറവോന്റെ കുതിര അവന്റെ രഥവും കുതിരപ്പടയുമായി കടലിന്റെ നടുവില് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നപ്പോള് യഹോവ കടലിലെ വെള്ളം അവരുടെ മേല് മടക്കി വരുത്തി; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോ കടലിന്റെ നടുവില് ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി കടന്നു പോന്നു.

19. For the horses of Pharaoh, with his chariots and his horsemen, entered into the sea, Then did Yahweh bring back upon them the waters of the sea, But the sons of Israel, had gone their way on the dry ground through the midst of the sea.

20. അഹരോന്റെ സഹോദരി മിര്യ്യാം എന്ന പ്രവാചകി കയ്യില് തപ്പു എടുത്തു, സ്ത്രീകള് എല്ലാവരും തപ്പുകളോടും നൃത്തങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ അവളുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

20. Then took Miriam the prophetess, sister of Aaron the timbrel in her hand, and all the women came forth after her with timbrels and dances,

21. മിര്യ്യാം അവരോടും പ്രതിഗാനമായി ചൊല്ലിയതുയഹോവേക്കു പാട്ടുപാടുവിന് , അവന് മഹോന്നതന് കുതിരയെയും അതിന്മേല് ഇരുന്നവനെയും അവന് കടലില് തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

21. And Miriam responded to the men, Sing to Yahweh for he is exalted exalted, The horse and his rider, hath he cast into the sea.

22. അനന്തരം മോശെ യിസ്രായേലിനെ ചെങ്കടലില്നിന്നു പ്രയാണം ചെയ്യിച്ചു; അവര് ശൂര്മരുഭൂമിയില് ചെന്നു, മൂന്നു ദിവസം മരുഭൂമിയില് വെള്ളം കിട്ടാതെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

22. And Moses caused Israel to break up from the Red Sea, and they went out into the desert of Shur, and journeyed three days in the desert and found no water;

23. മാറയില് എത്തിയാറെ, മാറയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പാന് അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അതു കൈപ്പുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു അതിന്നു മാറാ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

23. and, when they came in towards Marah they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter, for this taut, was the name thereof called Marah.

24. അപ്പോള് ജനംഞങ്ങള് എന്തു കുടിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു മോശെയുടെ നേരെ പിറുപിറുത്തു.

24. So the people murmured against Moses saying, What are we to drink?

25. അവന് യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; യഹോവ അവന്നു ഒരു വൃക്ഷം കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. അവന് അതു വെള്ളത്തില് ഇട്ടപ്പോള് വെള്ളം മധുരമായി തീര്ന്നു. അവിടെവെച്ചു അവന് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു ചട്ടവും പ്രമാണവും നിയമിച്ചു; അവിടെവെച്ചു അവന് അവരെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു

25. And he made outcry unto Yahweh, and Yahweh pointed out a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters became sweet, There, he appointed him a statute and regulation And, there, he put him to the proof.

26. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ടു അവന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു ചെയ്കയും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ അനുസരിച്ചു അവന്റെ സകല വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും വരുത്തിയ വ്യാധികളില് ഒന്നും നിനക്കു വരുത്തുകയില്ല; ഞാന് നിന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

26. And he said: If thou, wilt indeed hearken, to the voice of Yahweh thy God, And the thing that is right in his eyes, thou wilt do, And so give ear to his commandments, And keep all his statutes, None of the sicknesses which I laid on the Egyptians, will I lay upon thee, For, I, am Yahweh, thy physician.

27. പിന്നെ അവര് ഏലീമില് എത്തി; അവിടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു നീരുറവും എഴുപതു ഈത്തപ്പനയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് അവിടെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

27. Then came they in to Elim, and there, were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there, by the waters.
