1. ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു കാളയെയോ ഒരു ആടിനെയോ മോഷ്ടിച്ചു അറുക്കുകയാകട്ടെ വിലക്കുകയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്താല് അവന് ഒരു കാളെക്കു അഞ്ചു കാളയെയും, ഒരു ആടിന്നു നാലു ആടിനെയും പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.
ലൂക്കോസ് 19:8

1. When a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it, or sells it, he shall pay five oxen for the ox, and four sheep for the sheep.

2. കള്ളന് വീടു മുറിക്കുമ്പോള് പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു അടികൊണ്ടു മരിച്ചുപോയാല് അവനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു രക്തപാതകം ഇല്ല.

2. If the thief is found breaking in, and is stricken and dies, no blood shall be shed for him.

3. എന്നാല് അതു നേരം വെളുത്തശേഷമാകുന്നു എങ്കില് രക്തപാതകം ഉണ്ടു. കള്ളന് ശരിയായിട്ടു പ്രതിശാന്തി ചെയ്യേണം; അവന് വകയില്ലാത്തവനെങ്കില് തന്റെ മോഷണം നിമിത്തം അവനെ വില്ക്കേണം.

3. If the sun has risen on him, blood is due for him; repaying he shall repay. If he has nothing, then he should be sold for his theft.

4. മോഷണവസ്തുവായ കാളയെയോ കഴുതയെയോ ആടിനെയോ ജീവനോടെ അവന്റെ കൈവശം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചാല് അവന് ഇരട്ടി പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

4. If the stolen thing finding is found in his hand alive, from ox to ass to flock animal, he shall pay double.

5. ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു വയലോ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടമോ തീറ്റിക്കയാകട്ടെ തന്റെ കന്നുകാലിയെ അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടു അതു മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ വയലില് മേയുകയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്താല് അവന് തന്റെ വയലിലുള്ളതില് ഉത്തമമായതും തന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലുള്ളതില് ഉത്തമമായതും പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

5. When a man consumes a field or a vineyard, and he lets his beast loose and it consumes another's field, he shall repay the best of his field and the best of his vineyard.

6. തീ വീണു കാടു കത്തീട്ടു കറ്റക്കൂട്ടമോ വിളവോ നിലമോ വെന്തുപോയെങ്കില് തീ കത്തിച്ചവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

6. When fire breaks out and finds thorns, and shocked grain, or standing grain, or the field is burned up, repaying the one kindling the fire shall repay.

7. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടകാരന്റെ പറ്റില് പണമോ വല്ല സാധനമോ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന് ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കെ അതു അവന്റെ വീട്ടില്നിന്നു കളവുപോയാല് കള്ളനെ പിടികിട്ടി എന്നുവരികില് അവന് ഇരട്ടിപകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

7. When a man gives silver or vessels to his neighbor to keep, and it is stolen from the man's house, if the thief is found, he shall repay double.

8. കള്ളനെ പിടികിട്ടാതിരുന്നാല് ആ വീട്ടുകാരന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വസ്തുവിന്മേല് കൈ വെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നു അറിവാന് അവനെ ദൈവ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

8. If the thief is not found, the master of the house shall be brought to God, to see whether or not he put out his hand to his neighbor's goods.

9. കാണാതെപോയ കാള, കഴുത, ആടു, വസ്ത്രം മുതലായ യാതൊന്നിനെയും സംബന്ധിച്ചു ഇതു എനിക്കുള്ളതു എന്നു ഒരുവന് പറഞ്ഞു കുറ്റം ചുമത്തിയാല് ഇരുപാട്ടുകാരുടെയും കാര്യം ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് വരേണം; കുറ്റക്കാരനെന്നു ദൈവം വിധിക്കുന്നവന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു ഇരട്ടി പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

9. In every matter of trespass, for ox, for ass, for sheep, for clothing, for anything lost of which it is said that it is his, the case of both of them shall come to God. Whom God declares guilty, he shall repay double to his neighbor.

10. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ പക്കല് കഴുത, കാള, ആടു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഒരു മൃഗത്തെ സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന് ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കെ അതു ചത്തുപോകയോ അതിന്നു വല്ല കേടു തട്ടുകയോ ആരും കാണാതെ കളവുപോകയോ ചെയ്താല്

10. When a man gives an ass or an ox to his neighbor; or a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies, or is injured, or is captured, no one seeing it,

11. കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വസ്തുവിന്മേല് അവന് കൈ വെച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയെക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള സത്യം ഇരുപാട്ടുകാര്ക്കും തീര്ച്ച ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഉടമസ്ഥന് അതു സമ്മതിക്കേണം; മറ്റവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.
എബ്രായർ 6:16

11. an oath of Jehovah shall be between them both, that he has not put his hand to his neighbor's goods. And its owner shall take it, and he shall not repay.

12. എന്നാല് അതു അവന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നു കളവുപോയി എന്നു വരികില് അവന് അതിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥന്നു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

12. And if it is indeed stolen from him, he shall repay to its owner.

13. അതു കടിച്ചു കീറിപ്പോയെങ്കില് അവന് അതിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; കടിച്ചു കീറിപ്പോയതിന്നു അവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ.

13. If it is completely torn in pieces, he shall bring it as a witness; he shall not repay that which was torn.

14. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു വായ്പ വാങ്ങീട്ടു ഉടമസ്ഥന് അരികെ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കെ വല്ല കേടു ഭവിക്കയോ ചത്തുപോകയോ ചെയ്താല് അവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം.

14. And when a man borrows from his neighbor, and it is hurt, or dies, its owner not being with it, paying he shall repay.

15. ഉടമസ്ഥന് അരികെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാല് അവന് പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടാ; അതു കൂലിക്കു വാങ്ങിയതെങ്കില് അതിന്നു കൂലിയുണ്ടല്ലോ.

15. If its owner is with it, he shall not repay. If it is hired, it comes for its hire.

16. വിവാഹത്തിന്നു നിയമിക്കപ്പെടാത്ത ഒരു കന്യകയെ ഒരുത്തന് വശീകരിച്ചു അവളോടു കൂടെ ശയിച്ചാല് അവന് സ്ത്രീധനം കൊടുത്തു അവളെ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കേണം.

16. And when a man lures a virgin who is not betrothed, and lies with her, paying he shall pay her dowry for a wife to himself.

17. അവളെ അവന്നു കൊടുപ്പാന് അവളുടെ അപ്പന്നു അശേഷം മനസ്സില്ലെങ്കില് അവന് കന്യകമാരുടെ സ്ത്രീധനത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം പണം കൊടുക്കേണം.

17. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he shall weigh money according to the dowry of virgins.

18. ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരത്തിയെ നീ ജീവനോടെ വെക്കരുതു.

18. You shall not allow a sorceress to live.

19. മൃഗത്തോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

19. Anyone lying with an animal, dying he shall die.

20. യഹോവേക്കു മാത്രമല്ലാതെ വേറെ ദൈവങ്ങള്ക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കുന്നവനെ നിര്മ്മൂലമാക്കേണം.

20. One sacrificing to a god shall be destroyed, unless it is only to Jehovah.

21. പരദേശിയെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുതു ഉപദ്രവിക്കയുമരുതു; നിങ്ങള് മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തു പരദേശികള് ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. You shall not be violent toward an alien. You shall not oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.

22. വിധവയെയും അനാഥനെയും നിങ്ങള് ക്ളേശിപ്പിക്കരുതു.

22. You shall not afflict an orphan or a widow.

23. അവരെ വല്ലപ്രകാരത്തിലും ക്ളേശിപ്പിക്കയും അവര് എന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് ഞാന് അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേള്ക്കും;

23. If you afflict him, if he at all cries to Me, hearing I will hear his cry,

24. എന്റെ കോപവും ജ്വലിക്കും; ഞാന് വാള്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ത്രീകള് വിധവമാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങള് അനാഥരുമായി തീരും.

24. and My anger shall glow, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall become widows, and your sons orphans.

25. എന്റെ ജനത്തില് നിന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള ഒരു ദരിദ്രന്നു പണം വായ്പ കൊടുത്താല് പൊലികടക്കാരനെപ്പോലെ ഇരിക്കരുതു; അവനോടു പലിശ വാങ്ങുകയും അരുതു.

25. If you lend money to My people, the poor with you, you shall not be as a money-lender to him; you shall not put interest on him.

26. നീ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വസ്ത്രം പണയം വാങ്ങിയാല് സൂര്യന് അസ്തമിക്കുംമുമ്പെ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം.

26. If you indeed take the clothing of your neighbor as a pledge, you shall return it to him by the going of the sun,

27. അതുമാത്രമല്ലോ അവന്റെ പുതപ്പു; അതുമാത്രമല്ലോ അവന്റെ ശരീരം മൂടുന്ന വസ്ത്രം; അവന് പിന്നെ എന്തൊന്നു പുതെച്ചു കിടക്കും? അവന് എന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് കേള്ക്കും; ഞാന് കൃപയുള്ളവനല്ലോ.

27. for that is his only covering, that is his covering for his skin. In what shall he lie down? And it shall be, when he cries to Me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

28. നീ ദൈവത്തെ ദുഷിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയെ ശപിക്കയുമരുതു.

28. You shall not revile God, and you shall not curse a ruler among your people.

29. നിന്റെ വിളവും ദ്രാവകവര്ഗ്ഗവും അര്പ്പിപ്പാന് താമസിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ആദ്യജാതനെ എനിക്കു തരേണം.

29. You shall not delay giving the fullness of your crops and the juices of your vintage. You shall give to Me the first-born of your sons.

30. നിന്റെ കാളകളിലും ആടുകളിലും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ; അതു ഏഴു ദിവസം തള്ളയോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; എട്ടാം ദിവസം അതിനെ എനിക്കു തരേണം.

30. So you shall do to your oxen, to your sheep: it shall be seven days with its mother; on the eighth day you shall give it to Me.

31. നിങ്ങള് എനിക്കു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം; കാട്ടുമൃഗം കടിച്ചുകീറിയ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു. നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ നായ്ക്കള്ക്കു ഇട്ടുകളയേണം.

31. And you shall be holy men to Me. And you shall not eat flesh torn in pieces; you shall throw it to the dogs.
