1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക ചെത്തിക്കൊള്ക; എന്നാല് നീ പൊട്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ മുമ്പിലത്തെ പലകയില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വചനങ്ങളെ ഞാന് ആ പലകയില് എഴുതും.

1. Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Make two more stone tablets like the first two that were broken. I will write the same words on these stones that were written on the first two stones.

2. നീ രാവിലേ ഒരുങ്ങി രാവിലേ തന്നേ സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില് കയറി; പര്വ്വതത്തിന്റെ മുകളില് എന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് വരേണം.

2. Be ready tomorrow morning and come up on Mount Sinai. Stand before me there on the top of the mountain.

3. നിന്നോടു കൂടെ ആരും കയറരുതു. പര്വ്വതത്തിലെങ്ങും ആരെയും കാണരുതു. പര്വ്വതത്തിന് അരികെ ആടുകളോ കന്നുകാലികളോ മേയുകയും അരുതു.

3. No one will be allowed to come with you. No one should even be seen anywhere on the mountain. Even your herds of animals or flocks of sheep will not be allowed to eat grass at the bottom of the mountain.'

4. അങ്ങനെ മോശെ മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക ചെത്തി, അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോല സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില് കയറി; കാല്പലക രണ്ടും കയ്യില് എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോയി

4. So Moses made two more stone tablets like the first ones. Early the next morning Moses went up Mount Sinai, just as the Lord had commanded. Moses carried the two stone tablets with him.

5. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മേഘത്തില് ഇറങ്ങി അവിടെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഘോഷിച്ചു.

5. Then the Lord came down to him in a cloud, stood there with Moses and spoke his own name.

6. യഹോവ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കടന്നു ഘോഷിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ, യഹോവയായ ദൈവം, കരുണയും കൃപയുമുള്ളവന് ; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവന് .

6. That is, the Lord passed in front of Moses and said, 'Yahweh, the Lord, is a kind and merciful God. He is slow to become angry. He is full of great love. He can be trusted.

7. He shows his faithful love for thousands of generations. The Lord forgives people for the wrong things they do, but he does not forget to punish guilty people. He will punish not only the guilty people, but also their children, their grandchildren, and their great-grandchildren will suffer for the bad things these people do.'

8. എന്നാറെ മോശെ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു

8. Then Moses quickly bowed to the ground and worshiped the Lord. Moses said,

9. കര്ത്താവേ, നിനക്കു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടെങ്കില് കര്ത്താവു ഞങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നടക്കേണമേ. ഇതു ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം തന്നേ എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യവും പാപവും ക്ഷമിച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ അവകാശമാക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. Lord, if you are pleased with me, please go with us. I know that these are stubborn people, but forgive us for the bad things we did. Accept us as your people.'

10. Then the Lord said, 'I am making this agreement with all of your people. I will do amazing things that have never before been done for any other nation on earth. The people with you will see that I, the Lord, am very great. They will see the wonderful things that I will do for you.

11. ഇന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ക; അമോര്യ്യന് , കനാന്യന് , ഹിത്യന് , പെരിസ്യന് , ഹിവ്യന് , യെബൂസ്യന് എന്നിവരെ ഞാന് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയും.

11. Obey what I command you today, and I will force your enemies to leave your land. I will force out the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

12. നീ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളോടു നീ ഒരു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാന് കരുതിക്കൊള്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാല് അതു നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു കണിയായിരിക്കും.

12. Be careful! Don't make any agreement with the people who live in the land where you are going. If you make an agreement with them, it will bring you trouble.

13. നിങ്ങള് അവരുടെ ബലി പീഠങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തകര്ത്തു അശേരപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയേണം.

13. So destroy their altars, break the stones they worship, and cut down their idols.

14. അന്യദൈവത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കരുതു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമം തീക്ഷ്ണന് എന്നാകുന്നു; അവന് തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ള ദൈവം തന്നേ.

14. Don't worship any other god. I am Yahweh Kanah�the jealous Lord. That is my name. I hate for my people to worship other gods.

15. ആ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളോടു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്കയും അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു അവര് പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാര്ക്കും ബലി കഴിക്കുമ്പോള് നിന്നെ വിളിക്കയും നീ ചെന്നു അവരുടെ ബലികള് തിന്നുകയും

15. 'Be careful not to make any agreements with the people who live in that land. If you do this, you might join them when they worship their gods. They will invite you to join them, and you will eat their sacrifices.

16. അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാരില്നിന്നു നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഭാര്യമാരെ എടുക്കയും അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാര് തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യിക്കയും ചെയ്വാന് ഇടവരരുതു.

16. You might choose some of their daughters as wives for your sons. Those daughters serve false gods. They might lead your sons to do the same thing.

17. ദേവന്മാരെ വാര്ത്തുണ്ടാക്കരുതു.

17. Don't make idols.

18. പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവം നീ ആചരിക്കേണം. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ആബീബ് മാസത്തില് നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം; ആബീബ് മാസത്തിലല്ലോ നീ മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്നതു.

18. Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread. For seven days eat the bread made without yeast as I commanded you before. Do this during the month I have chosen, the month of Abib, because that is the month you came out of Egypt.

19. ആദ്യം ജനിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ആടുകളുടെയും കന്നുകാലികളുടെയും കൂട്ടത്തില് കടിഞ്ഞൂലായ ആണ്ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

19. A woman's first baby always belongs to me. Even the first animals that are born from your cattle or sheep belong to me.

20. എന്നാല് കഴുതയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം. വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം. നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ആദ്യജാതനെ ഒക്കെയും വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം. വെറുങ്കയ്യോടെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരരുതു.

20. If you want to keep a donkey that is the first born, then you can buy it with a lamb. But if you don't buy that donkey with a lamb, you must break the donkey's neck. You must buy back all of your firstborn sons from me. No one should come before me without a gift.

21. ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം; വിതകാലമോ കൊയ്ത്തുകാലമോ ആയാലും സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം.

21. 'You will work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. You must rest even during the times of planting and harvesting.

22. കോതമ്പുകെയ്ത്തിലെ ആദ്യഫലോത്സവമായ വാരോത്സവവും ആണ്ടറുതിയില് കായ്കനിപ്പെരുനാളും നീ ആചരിക്കേണം.

22. 'Celebrate the Festival of Weeks. Use the first grain from the wheat harvest for this festival. And in the fall celebrate the Festival of Harvest.

23. സംവത്സരത്തില് മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരേണം.

23. 'Three times each year all your men must go to be with the Lord God, the God of Israel.

24. ഞാന് ജാതികളെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ അതൃത്തികളെ വിശാലമാക്കും; നീ സംവത്സരത്തില് മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെല്ലുവാന് കയറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിന്റെ ദേശം മോഹിക്കയില്ല.

24. When you go into your land, I will force your enemies out of that land. I will expand your borders�you will get more and more land. You will go before the Lord your God three times each year. At that time no one will try to take your land from you.

25. എന്റെ യാഗരക്തം പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പത്തോടുകൂടെ അര്പ്പിക്കരുതു. പെസഹപെരുനാളിലെ യാഗം പ്രഭാതകാലംവരെ വെച്ചേക്കരുതു.

25. 'When you kill an animal and offer its blood as a sacrifice, you must not include anything that has yeast in it. 'Don't let any of the meat from the Passover meal remain until morning.

26. നിന്റെ നിലത്തിലെ ആദ്യവിളവിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം. കോലാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ അതിന്റെ തള്ളയുടെ പാലില് പാകം ചെയ്യരുതു.

26. Give the Lord the very first crops that you harvest. Bring them to the house of the Lord your God. 'Never cook a young goat in its mother's milk.'

27. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടുഈ വചനങ്ങളെ എഴുതിക്കൊള്ക; ഈ വചനങ്ങള് ആധാരമാക്കി ഞാന് നിന്നോടും യിസ്രായേലിനോടും നിയമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

27. Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Write everything that I have told you. This is the agreement that I made with you and the Israelites.'

28. അവന് അവിടെ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാതെയും വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാതെയും നാല്പതു പകലും നാല്പതു രാവും യഹോവയോടു കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവന് പത്തു കല്പനയായ നിയമത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ പലകയില് എഴുതിക്കൊടുത്തു.

28. Moses stayed there with the Lord for 40 days and 40 nights. Moses did not eat any food or drink any water. And he wrote the words of the agreement (the Ten Commandments) on the two stone tablets.

29. അവന് തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിമിത്തം തന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പ്രകാശിച്ചു എന്നു മോശെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ പലക രണ്ടും കയ്യില് പടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോള് അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

29. When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, he carried the two stone tablets of the Agreement. Because he had talked with the Lord, his face was shining, but he did not know it.

30. അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് എല്ലാവരും മോശെയെ നോക്കിയപ്പോള് അവന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അതു കൊണ്ടു അവര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലുവാന് ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.

30. Aaron and all the people of Israel saw that Moses' face was shining bright. So they were afraid to go near him.

31. മോശെ അവരെ വിളിച്ചു; അപ്പോള് അഹരോനും സഭയിലെ പ്രമാണികള് ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങി വന്നു; മോശെ അവരോടു സംസാരിചു.

31. But Moses called to them. So Aaron and all the leaders of the people went to him. Moses talked with them.

32. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു. സീനായി പര്വ്വതത്തില്വെച്ചു യഹോവ തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും അവന് അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു.

32. After that, all the Israelites came near Moses, and he gave them the commands that the Lord had given him on Mount Sinai.

33. മോശെ അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവന് തന്റെ മുഖത്തു ഒരു മൂടുപടം ഇട്ടു.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:13

33. When Moses finished speaking to the people, he put a covering over his face.

34. മോശെ യഹോവയോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ സന്നിധാനത്തില് കടക്കുമ്പോള് പുറത്തു വരുവോളം മൂടുപടം നീക്കിയിരിക്കും; തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു അവന് പുറത്തുവന്നു യിസ്രയേല്മക്കളോടു പറയും.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:7-16

34. Any time Moses went before the Lord to speak with him, Moses took off the covering. Then Moses would come out and tell the Israelites what the Lord commanded.

35. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മോശെയുടെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെ അവനോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അകത്തു കടക്കുവോളം മൂടുപടം പിന്നെയും തന്റെ മുഖത്തു ഇട്ടുകൊള്ളും.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:13

35. The people would see that Moses' face was shining bright, so he would cover his face again. He kept his face covered until the next time he went in to speak with the Lord.
