1. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

2. ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നീ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കേണം.

2. On the first day of the first month, at the new moon, you shall set up the tabernacle of witness,

3. സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം അതില് വെച്ചു തിരശ്ശീലകൊണ്ടു പെട്ടകം മറെക്കേണം.

3. and you shall place [in it] the ark of the testimony, and shall cover the ark with the veil,

4. മേശ കോണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ സാധനങ്ങള് ക്രമത്തില് വെക്കേണം. നിലവിളകൂ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അതിന്റെ ദീപം കൊളുത്തേണം.

4. and you shall bring in the table and shall set forth that which is to be set forth on it; and you shall bring in the lampstand and place its lamps on it.

5. ധൂപത്തിന്നുള്ള പൊമ്പീഠം സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് വെച്ചു തിരുനിവാസവാതിലിന്റെ മിറശ്ശീല തൂക്കേണം.

5. And you shall place the golden altar, to burn incense before the ark; and you shall put a covering of a veil on the door of the tabernacle of witness.

6. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു മുമ്പില് ഹോമയാഗപീഠം വെക്കേണം.

6. And you shall put the altar of burnt offerings by the doors of the tabernacle of witness, and you shall set up the tabernacle round about, and you shall sanctify all that belongs to it round about.

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് തൊട്ടി വെച്ചു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കേണം.

9. അഭിഷേകതൈലം എടുത്തു തിരുനിവാസവും അതിലുള്ള സകലവും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു അതും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം;

9. And you shall take the anointing oil, and shall anoint the tabernacle, and all things in it; and shall sanctify it, and all its furniture, and it shall be holy.

10. ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു യാഗപീഠം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം; യാഗപീഠം അതിവിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. And you shall anoint the altar of burnt offerings, and all its furniture; and you shall sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.

11. തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

12. അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു കഴുകേണം.

12. And you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the doors of the tabernacle of witness, and you shall wash them with water.

13. അഹരോനെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു, എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

13. And you shall put on Aaron the holy garments, and you shall anoint him, and you shall sanctify him, and he shall minister to Me as priest.

14. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ വരുത്തി അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു,

14. And you shall bring up his sons, and shall put garments on them.

15. എനിക്കു പുരോഹിത ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ അപ്പനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരെയും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യേണം; അവരുടെ അഭിഷേകം ഹേതുവായി അവര്ക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിത്യ പൌരോഹിത്യം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

15. And you shall anoint them as you anointed their father, and they shall minister to Me as priests; and it shall be that they shall have an everlasting anointing of priesthood, throughout their generations.

16. മോശെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ചെയ്തു.

16. And Moses did all things whatsoever the Lord commanded him, so did he.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തു.

17. And it came to pass in the first month, in the second year after their going forth out of Egypt, at the new moon, that the tabernacle was set up.

18. മോശെ തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ക്കുംകയും അതിന്റെ ചുവടു ഉറപ്പിക്കയും പലക നിറുത്തുകയും അന്താഴം ചെലുത്തുകയും തൂണ് നാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

18. And Moses set up the tabernacle, and put on the chapiters, and put the bars into their places, and set up the posts.

19. അവന് മൂടുവിരി തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് വിരിച്ചു അതിന്മീതെ മൂടുവിരിയുടെ പുറമൂടിയും വിരിച്ചു; യഹോവാ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

19. And he stretched out the curtains over the tabernacle, and put the veil of the tabernacle on it above as the Lord commanded Moses.

20. അവന് സാക്ഷ്യം എടുത്തു പെട്ടകത്തില് വെച്ചു; പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തി പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മീതെ കൃപാസനം വെച്ചു.

20. And he took the testimonies, and put them into the ark; and he put the poles by the sides of the ark.

21. പെട്ടകം തിരുനിവാസത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു മറയുടെ തിരശ്ശീല തൂക്കി സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം മറെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

21. And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and put on [it] the covering of the veil, and covered the ark of the Testimony, as the Lord commanded Moses.

22. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തു തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തായി മേശവെച്ചു.

22. And he put the table in the tabernacle of witness, on the north side without the veil of the tabernacle.

23. അതിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അപ്പം അടുക്കിവെച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

23. And he put on it the showbread before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

24. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് മോശെക്കു നേരെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തെക്കുവശത്തു നിലവിളകൂ വെക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ദീപം കൊളുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു;

24. And he put the lampstand into the tabernacle of witness, on the side of the tabernacle toward the south.

25. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ തന്നേ.

25. And he put on it its lamps before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

26. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലയുടെ മുന് വശത്തു പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ധൂപപീഠം വെക്കയും അതിന്മേല് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം ധൂപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു;

26. And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of witness before the veil;

27. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

27. and he burned on it incense of composition, as the Lord commanded Moses.

28. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി.

29. And he put the altar of the burnt offerings by the doors of the tabernacle.

30. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവില് അവന് തൊട്ടിവെക്കയും കഴുകേണ്ടതിന്നു അതില് വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

33. അവന് തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റം പ്രാകാരം നിറുത്തി; പ്രാകാരവാതിലിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല തൂക്കി. ഇങ്ങനെ മോശെ പ്രവൃത്തി സമാപിച്ചു.

33. And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar; and Moses accomplished all the works.

34. അപ്പോള് മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തെ മൂടി, യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെച്ചു.

34. And the cloud covered the tabernacle of witness, and the tabernacle was filled with the glory of the Lord.

35. മേഘം സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്മേല് അധിവസിക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു തിരുനിവാസത്തെ നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെക്കു അകത്തു കടപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

35. And Moses was not able to enter into the tabernacle of testimony, because the cloud overshadowed it, and the tabernacle was filled with the glory of the Lord.

36. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും മേഘം തിരുനിവസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു ഉയരുമ്പോള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

36. And when the cloud went up from the tabernacle, the children of Israel prepared to depart with their baggage.

37. മേഘം ഉയരാതിരുന്നാല് അതു ഉയരുംനാള്വരെ അവര് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതിരിക്കും.

37. And if the cloud went not up, they did not prepare to depart, till the day when the cloud went up.

38. യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സകലപ്രയാണങ്ങളിലും അവരെല്ലാവരും കാണ്കെ പകല് സമയത്തു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘവും രാത്രിസമയത്തു അതില് അഗ്നിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

38. For a cloud was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night before all Israel, in all their journeys.
