1. ജ്ഞാനമായവള് വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്നില്ലയോ? ബുദ്ധിയായവള് തന്റെ സ്വരം കേള്പ്പിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

1. Doth not wysdome crie? doth not vnderstondinge put forth hir voyce?

2. അവള് വഴിയരികെ മേടുകളുടെ മുകളില് പാതകള് കൂടുന്നേടത്തു നിലക്കുന്നു.

2. Stondeth she not in the hye places in the stretes & wayes?

3. അവള് പടിവാതിലുകളുടെ അരികത്തും പട്ടണവാതില്ക്കലും ഗോപുരദ്വാരത്തിങ്കലും ഘോഷിക്കുന്നതു

3. doth she not crie before the whole cite, & in the gates where men go out & in?

4. പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നു; എന്റെ സ്വരം മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു വരുന്നു.

4. It is you, o ye men (sayeth she) whom I call. Unto you (o ye childre of me) lift I vp my voyce.

5. അല്പബുദ്ധികളേ, സൂക്ഷ്മബുദ്ധി ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; മൂഢന്മാരേ, വിവേകഹൃദയന്മാരാകുവിന് .

5. Take hede vnto knowlege o ye ignoraut, be wyse in herte o ye fooles.

6. കേള്പ്പിന് , ഞാന് ഉല്കൃഷ്ടമായതു സംസാരിക്കും; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളെ തുറക്കുന്നതു നേരിന്നു ആയിരിക്കും.

6. Geue eare, for I wil speake of greate matters, & open my lippes to tell thinges that be right.

7. എന്റെ വായ് സത്യം സംസാരിക്കും; ദുഷ്ടത എന്റെ അധരങ്ങള്ക്കു അറെപ്പാകുന്നു.

7. For my throte shal be talkynge of ye trueth, & my lippes abhorre vngodlynesse.

8. എന്റെ വായിലെ മൊഴി ഒക്കെയും നീതിയാകുന്നു; അവയില് വക്രവും വികടവുമായതു ഒന്നുമില്ല.

8. All the wordes of my mouth are rightuous, there is no frowardnesse ner falsede therin.

9. അവയെല്ലാം ബുദ്ധിമാന്നു തെളിവും പരിജ്ഞാനം ലഭിച്ചവര്ക്കും നേരും ആകുന്നു.

9. They are all playne to soch as wil vnderstode, & right to the that fynde knowlege.

10. വെള്ളിയെക്കാള് എന്റെ പ്രബോധനവും മേത്തരമായ പൊന്നിനെക്കാള് പരിജ്ഞാനവും കൈക്കൊള്വിന് .

10. Receaue my doctryne therfore and not syluer, & knowlege more then fyne golde.

11. ജ്ഞാനം മുത്തുകളെക്കാള് നല്ലതാകുന്നു; മനോഹരമായതൊന്നും അതിന്നു തുല്യമാകയില്ല.

11. For wysdome is more worth then precious stones, yee all the thinges that thou cast desyre, are not to be compared vnto it.

12. ജ്ഞാനം എന്ന ഞാന് സൂക്ഷ്മബുദ്ധിയെ എന്റെ പാര്പ്പിടമാക്കുന്നു; പരിജ്ഞാനവും വകതിരിവും ഞാന് കണ്ടു പിടിക്കുന്നു.

12. I wysdome haue my dwellynge wt knowlege, and prudent councell is myne owne.

13. യഹോവാഭക്തി ദോഷത്തെ വെറുക്കുന്നതാകുന്നു; ഡംഭം, അഹങ്കാരം, ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗം, വക്രതയുള്ള വായ് എന്നിവയെ ഞാന് പകെക്കുന്നു.

13. With me is the feare of the LORDE, and ye eschuynge of euell. As for pryde, disdayne, an euell waye, & a mouth that speaketh wicked thiges, I vtterly abhorre the.

14. ആലോചനയും പരിജ്ഞാനവും എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാന് തന്നേ വിവേകം; എനിക്കു വീര്യബലം ഉണ്ടു.

14. I can geue councell, and be a gyde: I haue vnderstondinge, I haue strength.

15. ഞാന് മുഖാന്തരം രാജാക്കന്മാര് വാഴുന്നു; പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് നീതിയെ നടത്തുന്നു.
റോമർ 13:1

15. Thorow me, kynges reigne: thorow me, prices make iust lawes.

16. ഞാന് മുഖാന്തരം അധിപതിമാരും പ്രധാനികളും ഭൂമിയിലെ ന്യായാധിപന്മാരൊക്കെയും ആധിപത്യം നടത്തുന്നു.

16. Thorow me, lordes beare rule, and all iudges of ye earth execute iudgmet.

17. എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര് എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

17. I am louynge vnto those that loue me, and they that seke me early, shal fynde me.

18. എന്റെ പക്കല് ധനവും മാനവും പുരാതനസമ്പത്തും നീതിയും ഉണ്ടു.

18. Riches & honoure are wt me, yee excellent goodes & rightuousnes.

19. എന്റെ ഫലം പൊന്നിലും തങ്കത്തിലും എന്റെ ആദായം മേത്തരമായ വെള്ളിയിലും നല്ലതു.

19. My frute is better the golde & precious stone, & myne encrease more worth then fyne syluer.

20. എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും വസ്തുവക അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊടുക്കയും അവരുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളെ നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു

20. I walke in ye waye of rightuousnes, & in the strete of iudgment.

21. ഞാന് നീതിയുടെ മാര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും ന്യായത്തിന്റെ പാതകളിലും നടക്കുന്നു.

21. That I maye sende prosperite to those that loue me, & to encrease their treasure.

22. യഹോവ പണ്ടുപണ്ടേ തന്റെ വഴിയുടെ ആരംഭമായി, തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ആദ്യമായി എന്നെ ഉളവാക്കി.

22. The LORDE himself had me in possessio in the begynnynge of his wayes, or euer he begame his workes aforetyme.

23. ഞാന് പുരാതനമേ, ആദിയില് തന്നേ, ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉല്പത്തിക്കു മുമ്പെ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

23. I haue bene ordened fro euerlastige, & fro ye beginnynge or euer the earth was made.

24. ആഴങ്ങള് ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോള് ഞാന് ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞ ഉറവുകള് ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോള് തന്നേ.

24. When I was borne, there were nether depthes ner springes of water.

25. പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചതിന്നു മുമ്പെയും കുന്നുകള്ക്കു മുമ്പെയും ഞാന് ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. Before the foundacions of ye mountaynes were layed, yee before all hilles was I borne.

26. അവന് ഭൂമിയെയും വയലുകളെയും ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ പൊടിയുടെ തുകയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കീട്ടില്ലാത്ത സമയത്തു തന്നേ.

26. The earth and all that is vpon the earth was not yet made, no not the grounde it self.

27. അവന് ആകാശത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചപ്പോള് ഞാന് അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന് ആഴത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തു വൃത്തം വരെച്ചപ്പോഴും

27. For when he made the heauens, I was present: wha he set the depthes in ordre:

28. അവന് മീതെ മേഘങ്ങളെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചപ്പോഴും ആഴത്തിന്റെ ഉറവുകള് തടിച്ചപ്പോഴും

28. whan he hanged the cloudes aboue: whan he fastened the sprynges of the depe:

29. വെള്ളം അവന്റെ കല്പനയെ അതിക്രമിക്കാതവണ്ണം അവന് സമുദ്രത്തിന്നു അതിര് വെച്ചപ്പോഴും ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടപ്പോഴും

29. Whan he shutt the see within certayne bowndes, that ye waters shulde not go ouer their marckes. When he layed the foundacions of the earth,

30. ഞാന് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ശില്പി ആയിരുന്നു; ഇടവിടാതെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് വിനോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ദിനംപ്രതി അവന്റെ പ്രമോദമായിരുന്നു.

30. I was with him, ordringe all thinges, delytinge daylie & reioysynge allwaye before him.

31. അവന്റെ ഭൂതലത്തില് ഞാന് വിനോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രമോദം മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു.

31. As for the roude copase of his worlde, I make it ioyfull, for my delyte is to be amoge the children of men.

32. ആകയാല് മക്കളേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് ; എന്റെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവര് ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാര്.

32. Therfore harken vnto me (o ye children) for blessed are they that kepe my wayes.

33. പ്രബോധനം കേട്ടു ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാരായിരിപ്പിന് ; അതിനെ ത്യജിച്ചുകളയരുതു.

33. O geue eare vnto nurtoure, be wyse, and refuse it not.

34. ദിവസംപ്രതി എന്റെ പടിവാതില്ക്കല് ജാഗരിച്ചും എന്റെ വാതില്ക്കട്ടളെക്കല് കാത്തുകൊണ്ടും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .

34. Blessed is ye man that heareth me, watchinge daylie at my gates, & geuynge attendaunce at the postes of my dores.

35. എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നവന് ജീവനെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു; അവന് യഹോവയുടെ കടാക്ഷം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

35. For who so fyndeth me, fyndeth life, and shal optayne fauoure of the LORDE.

36. എന്നോടു പിഴെക്കുന്നവനോ തനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും മരണത്തെ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

36. But who so offendeth agaynst me, hurteth his owne soule. All they that hate me, are the louers of death.
