1. Now I will sing to my Beloved a song of my Beloved concerning His vineyard: My Beloved has a vineyard in a fruitful horn.

2. And He dug it, and cleared it of stones, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in its midst, and also hewed out a wine vat in it. And He waited for it to produce grapes, but it produced rotten grapes.

3. ആകയാല് യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളും യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എനിക്കും എന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ വിധിപ്പിന് .

3. And now, O people of Jerusalem and men of Judah, I ask you, judge between Me and My vineyard.

4. ഞാന് എന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തില് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളതല്ലാതെ ഇനി അതില് എന്തു ചെയ്വാനുള്ളു? മുന്തിരിങ്ങ കായക്കുമെന്നു ഞാന് കാത്തിരുന്നാറെ അതു കാട്ടുമുന്തിരിങ്ങ കായിച്ചതു എന്തു? ആകയാല് വരുവിന് ;

4. What more could have been done to My vineyard that I have not done in it? Who knows? I waited for it to yield grapes, but it yielded rotten grapes.

5. ഞാന് എന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തോടു എന്തു ചെയ്യും എന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കാം; ഞാന് അതിന്റെ വേലി പൊളിച്ചുകളയും; അതു തിന്നു പോകും; ഞാന് അതിന്റെ മതില് ഇടിച്ചുകളയും; അതു ചവിട്ടി മെതിച്ചുപോകും.

5. And now I will make known to you what I will do then to My vineyard. I will take away its hedge, and it will be burned. I will breach its wall, and it will become a trampling ground.

6. ഞാന് അതിനെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതു വള്ളിത്തല മുറിക്കാതെയും കിളെക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കും; പറക്കാരയും മുള്ളും അതില് മുളെക്കും; അതില് മഴ പെയ്യിക്കരുതെന്നു ഞാന് മേഘങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കും.

6. And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned nor hoed; but briers and thorns shall come up. And I will command the clouds from raining rain on it.

7. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹവും അവന്റെ മനോഹരമായ നടുതല യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും ആകുന്നു; അവന് ന്യായത്തിന്നായി കാത്തിരുന്നു; എന്നാല് ഇതാ, അന്യായം! നീതിക്കായി നോക്കിയിരുന്നു; എന്നാല് ഇതാ ഭീതി!

7. For the vineyard of Jehovah of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the man of Judah is His delightful plant. And He waited for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, a cry!

8. തങ്ങള് മാത്രം ദേശമദ്ധ്യേ പാര്ക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം മറ്റാര്ക്കും സ്ഥലം ഇല്ലാതാകുവോളവും വീടോടു വീടു ചേര്ക്കുംകയും വയലോടു വയല് കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

8. Woe to those touching house to house, bringing near field to field until the end of space, and you are made to dwell alone in the middle of the land!

9. ഞാന് കേള്ക്കെ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുവലിയതും നല്ലതുമായിരിക്കുന്ന പല വീടുകളും ആള് പാര്പ്പില്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമാകും നിശ്ചയം.

9. Jehovah of Hosts has sworn in my ears, If not, many houses shall be a waste, large and beautiful ones without one living in them.

10. പത്തു കാണി മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു ബത്തും ഒരു ഹോമര് വിത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു ഏഫയും മാത്രം കിട്ടും.

10. Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of a homer shall yield an ephah.

11. അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു മദ്യം തേടി ഔടുകയും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചു മത്തരായി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു വൈകി ഇരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

11. Woe to those who rise early in the morning to go after fermented drink, tarrying in the twilight while wine inflames them!

12. അവരുടെ വിരുന്നുകളില് കിന്നരവും വീണയും തപ്പും കുഴലും വീഞ്ഞും ഉണ്ടു; എന്നാല് യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ അവര് നോക്കുന്നില്ല, അവന്റെ കൈവേലയെ വിചാരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

12. And the lyre and the harp, the timbrel and flute, and wine are at their feasts; but they do not regard the work of Jehovah; yea, they do not see the work of His hands.

13. അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ ജനം അറിവില്ലായ്കയാല് പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ മാന്യന്മാര് പട്ടിണികിടക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ജനസമൂഹം ദാഹത്താല് വരണ്ടുപോകുന്നു.

13. For this My people go into exile without knowledge, and his men of glory into famine; and his multitude is parched with thirst.

14. അതുകൊണ്ടു പാതാളം തൊണ്ട തുറന്നു, വിസ്താരമായി വായ് പിളര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ മഹിമയും ആരവവും ഘോഷവും അവയില് ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നവരും അതിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.

14. So Sheol has enlarged its appetite, and opened its mouth without measure, and her glory and her multitude, and her uproar, he who exults in her, shall come down in it.

15. അങ്ങനെ മനുഷ്യന് കുനിയുകയും പുരുഷന് വണങ്ങുകയും നിഗളികളുടെ കണ്ണു താഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.

15. And man is bowed down, and man is humbled, and the eyes of the proud are humbled.

16. എന്നാല് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ന്യായവിധിയില് ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കയും പരിശുദ്ധദൈവം നീതിയില് തന്നെത്താന് പരിശുദ്ധനായി കാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

16. But Jehovah of Hosts is exalted in judgment, and God the Holy One is proven holy in righteousness.

17. അപ്പോള് കുഞ്ഞാടുകള് മേച്ചല്പുറത്തെന്നപോലെ മേയും; പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളവരുടെ ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളെ സഞ്ചാരികള് അനുഭവിക്കും.

17. Then the lambs shall feed as in their pasture, and strangers shall eat the waste places of the fatlings.

18. വ്യാജപാശംകൊണ്ടു അകൃത്യത്തെയും വണ്ടിക്കയറുകൊണ്ടു എന്നപോലെ പാപത്തെയും വലിക്കയും

18. Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as with ropes of a cart;

19. അവന് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ വേഗത്തില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കട്ടെ; കാണാമല്ലോ; യിസ്രായേലിന് പരിശുദ്ധന്റെ ആലോചന അടുത്തുവരട്ടെ; നമുക്കു അറിയാമല്ലോ എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

19. who say, Let Him hurry and hasten His work, so that we may see; and let the purpose of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, so that we may know!

20. തിന്മെക്കു നന്മ എന്നും നന്മെക്കു തിന്മ എന്നും പേര് പറകയും ഇരുട്ടിനെ വെളിച്ചവും വെളിച്ചത്തെ ഇരുട്ടും ആക്കുകയും കൈപ്പിനെ മധുരവും മധുരത്തെ കൈപ്പും ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

20. Woe to those who say to evil, good; and to good, evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21. തങ്ങള്ക്കുതന്നേ ജ്ഞാനികളായും തങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ വിവേകികളായും തോന്നുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

21. Woe to those wise in their own eyes, and discerning in their own sight!

22. വീഞ്ഞു കുടിപ്പാന് വീരന്മാരും മദ്യം കലര്ത്തുവാന് ശൂരന്മാരും ആയുള്ളവര്ക്കും

22. Woe to those mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mix fermented drink;

23. സമ്മാനംനിമിത്തം ദുഷ്ടനെ നീതീകരിക്കയും നീതിമാന്റെ നീതിയെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

23. who justify the wicked for a bribe, and turn aside the righteousness of the righteous from him!

24. അതുകൊണ്ടു തീനാവു താളടിയെ തിന്നുകളകയും വൈക്കോല് ജ്വാലയാല് ദഹിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ അവരുടെ വേരു കെട്ടുപോകും; അവരുടെ പുഷ്പം പൊടിപോലെ പറന്നു പോകും; അവര് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു, യിസ്രായേലിന് പരിശുദ്ധന്റെ വചനത്തെ നിന്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. So, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and the flame burns up the chaff; their root shall be like rottenness, and their blossoms shall go up like dust, because they have rejected the Law of Jehovah of Hosts; and despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel.

25. അതുനിമിത്തം യഹോവയുടെ കോപം തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിക്കും; അവന് അവരുടെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി അവരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കും; അപ്പോള് മലകള് വിറെക്കയും അവരുടെ ശവങ്ങള് വീഥികളുടെ നടുവില് ചവറുപോലെ ആയിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യും; ഇതെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും അവന്റെ കോപം അടങ്ങാതെ അവന്റെ കൈ ഇനിയും നീട്ടിയിരിക്കും.

25. On account of this the anger of Jehovah is kindled on His people, and He has stretched out His hand against them, and has struck them; and the mountains quaked, and their dead bodies were as filth in the midst of the streets. In all this His anger does not turn away, but His hand is stretched out still.

26. അവന് ദൂരത്തുള്ള ജാതികള്ക്കു ഒരു കൊടി, ഉയര്ത്തി, ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു അവരെ ചൂളകുത്തിവിളിക്കും; അവര് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു വേഗത്തില് വരും.

26. And He will lift up a banner to distant nations, and will hiss to them from the ends of the earth; and, behold, it shall come with swift speed!

27. അവരില് ഒരുത്തനും ക്ഷീണിക്കയോ ഇടറുകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല; ഒരുത്തനും ഉറക്കം തൂങ്ങുകയില്ല, ഉറങ്ങുകയുമില്ല; അവരുടെ അരക്കച്ച അഴികയില്ല, ചെരിപ്പുവാറു പൊട്ടുകയുമില്ല.

27. None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none will slumber nor sleep; nor shall the waist cloth of their loins be opened, nor the thong of their sandals broken;

28. അവരുടെ അമ്പു കൂര്ത്തും വില്ലു എല്ലാം കുലെച്ചും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കുതിരകളുടെ കുളമ്പു തീക്കല്ലുപോലെയും അവരുടെ രഥചക്രം ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുപോലെയും തോന്നും.

28. whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses' hooves shall appear as flint, and their wheels like a hurricane.

29. അവരുടെ ഗര്ജ്ജനം സിംഹത്തിന്റേതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കും; അവര് ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഗര്ജ്ജിക്കും; അവര് അലറി, ഇരപിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; ആരും വിടുവിക്കയും ഇല്ല.

29. Their roaring shall be like a lion; they shall roar like young lions. Yea, they roar and seize the prey and carry it away; and no one shall deliver.

30. അന്നാളില് അവര് കടലിന്റെ അലര്ച്ചപോലെ അവരുടെ നേരെ അലറും; ദേശത്തു നോക്കിയാല് ഇതാ, അന്ധകാരവും കഷ്ടതയും തന്നേ; അതിന്റെ മേഘങ്ങളില് വെളിച്ചം ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും.

30. And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea; when one looks to the land, and lo, darkness! Distress! And light shall be darkened by its clouds.
