1. നീതിയെ പിന് തുടരുന്നവരും യഹോവയെ അന് വേഷിക്കുന്നവരും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എന് റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിയെടുത്ത പാറയിലേക്കും നിങ്ങളെ കുഴിച്ചെടുത്ത ഖനിഗര്ഭത്തിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കുവിന് .

1. Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD; look unto the rock [from which] ye are hewn and to the hole of the pit [from which] ye are dug.

2. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാമിങ്കലേക്കും നിങ്ങളെ പ്രസവിച്ച സാറായിങ്കലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കുവിന് ; ഞാന് അവനെ ഏകനായിട്ടു വിളിച്ചു അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. Look unto Abraham your father and unto Sarah [that] bore you; for I called him alone and blessed him and multiplied him.

3. യഹോവ സീയോനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവന് അതിന്റെ സകലശൂന് യസ്ഥലങ്ങളെയും ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു, അതിന്റെ മരുഭൂമിയെ ഏദെനെപ്പോലെയും അതിന്റെ നിര്ജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തെ യഹോവയുടെ തോട്ടത്തെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കുന്നു; ആനന് ദവും സന്തോഷവും സ്തോത്രവും സംഗീതഘോഷവും അതില് ഉണ്ടാകും.

3. For the LORD shall surely comfort Zion; he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of singing.

4. എന്റെ ജനമേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; എന്റെ ജാതിയേ, എനിക്കു ചെവിതരുവിന് ; ഉപദേശം എങ്കല് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടും; ഞാന് എന്റെ ന് യായത്തെ വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രകാശമായി സ്ഥാപിക്കും

4. Hearken unto me, my people, and give ear unto me, O my nation: for the law shall proceed from me, and I will uncover my judgment for a light of the peoples.

5. എന്റെ നീതി സമീപമായിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ രക്ഷ പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള് വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു ന് യായം വിധിക്കും; ദ്വീപുകള് എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജത്തില് അവര് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു

5. My righteousness [is] near; my saving health is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me; and on my arm shall they place their hope.

6. നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണു ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു ഉയര്ത്തുവിന് ; താഴെ ഭൂമിയെ നോക്കുവിന് ; ആകാശം പുകപോലെ പോയ്പോകും; ഭൂമി വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകും; അതിനെ നിവാസികള് കൊതുകുപോലെ ചത്തുപോകും; എന്നാല് എന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്നേക്കും ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നീതിക്കു നീക്കം വരികയുമില്ല

6. Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and those that dwell therein shall perish in like manner; but my saving health shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall never perish.

7. നീതിയെ അറിയുന്നവരും ഹൃദയത്തില് എന്റെ ന് യായപ്രമാണം ഉള്ള ജനവും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യരുടെ നിന് ദയെ ഭയപ്പെടരുതു; അവരുടെ ദൂഷണങ്ങളെ പേടിക്കയും അരുതു

7. Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; do not fear the reproach of men, neither be afraid of their revilings.

8. പുഴു അവരെ വസ്ത്രത്തെപ്പോലെ അരിച്ചുകളയും; കൃമി അവരെ കന് പിളിയെപ്പോലെ തിന്നുകളയും; എന്നാല് എന്റെ നീതി ശാശ്വതമായും എന്റെ രക്ഷ തലമുറതലമുറയായും ഇരിക്കും

8. For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my saving health from age to age.

9. യഹോവയുടെ ഭുജമേ ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക; ശക്തി ധരിച്ചുകൊള്ക; പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തും പണ്ടത്തെ തലമുറകളിലും എന്നപോലെ ഉണരുക; രഹബിനെ വെട്ടി മഹാസര്പ്പത്തെ കുത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞതു നീ അല്ലയോ?

9. Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in ages past. [Art] thou not he who cut off the proud [one], and he who smote the dragon?

10. സമുദ്രത്തെ, വലിയ ആഴിയിലെ വെള്ളങ്ങളെ തന്നേ, വറ്റിച്ചുകളകയും വീണ്ടേടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് കടന്നുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തെ വഴിയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതു നീയല്ലയോ?

10. [Art] thou not he who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; he who turned the depths of the sea into a way, that the redeemed might pass over?

11. യഹോവയുടെ വിമുക്തന്മാര് ഉല്ലാസഘോഷത്തോടെ സീയോനിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; നിത്യാനന് ദം അവരുടെ തലയില് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും; അവര് ആനന് ദവും സന്തോഷവും പ്രാപിക്കും; ദുഃഖവും ഞരക്കവും ഔടിപ്പോകും

11. Therefore the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be] upon their head; they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

12. ഞാന് , ഞാന് തന്നേ, നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് ; എന്നാല് മരിച്ചുപോകുന്ന മര്ത്യനെയും പുല്ലുപോലെ ആയിത്തീരുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെയും ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് നീ ആര്?

12. I, [even] I, [am] he that comforts you. Who [art] thou that thou should be afraid of man that is mortal and of the son of man [which] shall be counted as stubble?

13. ആകാശത്തെ വിരിച്ചു ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ ഇട്ടവനായി നിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവായ യഹോവയെ നീ മറക്കയും പീഡകന് നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് ഒരുങ്ങിവരുന്നു എന്നുവെച്ചു അവന്റെ ക്രോധംനിമിത്തം ദിനംപ്രതി ഇടവിടാതെ പേടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതെന് തു?

13. And thou hast already forgotten the LORD thy maker that has stretched forth the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth and hast feared continually every day the fury of the oppressor when he was ready to destroy. But, where [is] the fury of the oppressor?

14. പീഡകന്റെ ക്രോധം എവിടെ? ബദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നവനെ വേഗത്തില് അഴിച്ചുവിടും; അവന് കുണ്ടറയില് മരിക്കയില്ല; അവന്റെ ആഹാരത്തിന്നു മുട്ടുവരികയുമില്ല

14. The prisoner is anxious that he may be loosed and that he should not die in the pit nor that his bread should fail.

15. തിരകള് അലറുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം സമുദ്രത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനായി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാന് ആകുന്നു; സൈന് യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു എന്റെ നാമം

15. And I [am] the LORD thy God that divides the sea and the waves roar; I am thy God; the LORD of the hosts [is] his name.

16. ഞാന് ആകാശത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇടുകയും സീയോനോടുനീ എന്റെ ജനം എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ വായില് ആക്കി എന്റെ കയ്യുടെ നിഴലില് നിന്നെ മറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

16. That has placed my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee with the shadow of my hand, that thou may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth and say unto Zion, Thou [art] my people.

17. യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു അവന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രം കുടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള യെരൂശലേമേ, ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക, എഴുന്നേറ്റുനില്ക്ക; നീ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന് റേ പാനപാത്രപുടം കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

17. Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling [and] wrung [them] out.

18. അവള് പ്രസവിച്ച സകലപുത്രന്മാരിലുംവെച്ചു അവളെ വഴിനടത്തുന്നതിന്നു ഒരുത്തനും ഇല്ല; അവള് വളര്ത്തിയ എല്ലാമക്കളിലുംവെച്ചു അവളെ കൈകൂ പിടിച്ചു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതിന്നു ആരുമില്ല

18. [There is] no one to guide her among all the sons [whom] she has brought forth; neither [is there any] that takes her by the hand of all the sons [that] she has brought up.

19. ഇതു രണ്ടും നിനക്കു നേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നോടു ആര് സഹതാപം കാണിക്കും? ശൂന് യവും നാശവും ക്ഷാമവും വാളും നേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതെങ്ങനെ?

19. These two [things] are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword. Who shall comfort thee?

20. നിന്റെ മക്കള് ബോധംകെട്ടു വലയില് അകപ്പെട്ട മാന് എന്നപോലെ വീഥികളുടെ തലെക്കലെല്ലാം കിടക്കുന്നു; അവര് യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധവും നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭര്ത്സനവും കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

20. Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.

21. ആകയാല് അരിഷ്ടയും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കാതെ ലഹരിപിടിച്ചവളും ആയുള്ളോവേ, ഇതു കേട്ടുകൊള്ക

21. Therefore now hear this, thou afflicted and drunken, but not with wine:

22. നിന്റെ കര്ത്താവായ യഹോവയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവവുമായവന് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രം, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രപുടം തന്നെ, നിന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു എടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി നീ അതു കുടിക്കയില്ല;

22. Thus has thy Lord said, I AM thy God who pleads the cause of his people; Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

23. നിന്നെ ക്ലേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില് ഞാന് അതു കൊടുക്കും അവര് നിന്നോടുകുനിയുക; ഞങ്ങള് കടന്നുപോകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; അങ്ങനെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നവര്കൂ നീ നിന്റെ മുതുകിനെ നിലംപോലെയും തെരുവീഥിപോലെയും ആക്കിവെക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു

23. But I will put it into the hand of those that afflict thee, which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground and as the street to those that went over.:
