1. മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു മിഗ്ദോലിലും തഹ'നേസിലും നോഫിലും പത്രോസ് ദേശത്തും പാര്ക്കുംന്ന സകല യെഹൂദന്മാരെയും കുറിച്ചു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. Now when Ieremy had ended all ye wordes of ye LORDE God vnto ye people, (for their sakes to whom God had sent him)

2. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിന്മേലും സകലയെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിന്മേലും വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന അനര്ത്ഥം ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ; അവ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ആരും അവയില് വസിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

2. Asarias the sonne of Osias, & Iohana ye sonne of Carea, with all the proude personnes, sayde vnto Ieremy: Thou lyest, the LORDE oure God hath not sent ye to speake vnto vs, that we shulde not go in to Egipte, and dwell there:

3. അതു, അവരോ നിങ്ങളോ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോ അറിയാത്ത അന്യദേവന്മാര്ക്കും ധപൂംകാട്ടുവാനും അവയെ സേവിപ്പാനും ചെന്നു എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവര് ചെയ്ത ദോഷംനിമിത്തമത്രേ.

3. But Baruch the sonne of Nerias prouoketh the agaynst vs, that he might bringe vs in to the captyuyte off the Caldees: that they might slaye vs, and carie vs awaye presoners vnto Babilon.

4. ഞാന് ഇടവിടാതെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരായ എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചുഞാന് വെറുക്കുന്ന ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛകാര്യം നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യരുതെന്നു പറയിച്ചു.

4. So Iohanna the sonne of Carea, and all the captaynes of the hooste, and all the people folowed not the commaundement of the LORDE: Namely, to dwell in the londe off Iuda:

5. എന്നാല് അവര് അന്യദേവന്മാര്ക്കും ധൂപംകാട്ടാതവണ്ണം തങ്ങളുടെ ദോഷം വിട്ടുതിരിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതെയും ചെവി ചായിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നു.

5. But Iohanna the sonne of Carea & all the captaynes of the hooste, caried awaye all the remnaunt in Iuda, that were come together agayne from the Heithen (amoge whom they had bene scatred) to dwell in the londe of Iuda:

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ ക്രോധവും കോപവും ചൊരിഞ്ഞു യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേംവീഥികളിലും ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവ ഇന്നു ശൂന്യവും നാശവും ആയി കിടക്കുന്നു.

6. Men, women, childre, the kynges doughters: all those that Nabusaradan the chefe captayne had left with Godolias the sonne of Ahicam. They caried awaye also the prophet Ieremy, Baruch the sonne of Nerias,

7. ആകയാല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള്ക്കു ശേഷിപ്പായി ആരും ഇല്ലാതാകുംവണ്ണം യെഹൂദയുടെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു പുരുഷനെയും സ്ത്രീയെയും പൈതലിനെയും മുലകുടിക്കുന്ന കുഞ്ഞിനെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നും

7. and so came in to Egipte: for they were not obedient vnto the commaundement of God. Thus came they to Taphnis.

8. നിങ്ങള് വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അന്യദേവന്മാര്ക്കും ധൂപം കാണിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്കൊണ്ടു എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിട്ടു സകല ഭൂജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയില് നിങ്ങള് ശാപവും നിന്ദയും ആയ്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണഹാനിക്കായി ഈ മഹാദോഷം ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്തു?

8. And in Taphnis the worde off the LORDE happened vnto Ieremy, sayenge:

9. യെഹൂദാദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങളും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാര് ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങളും അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാര് ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങളും നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാര് ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങളും നിങ്ങള് മറന്നുപോയോ?

9. Take greate stones in thine hode, and hyde them in the brick wall, vnder the dore off Pharaos house in Taphnis, that all the men of Iuda maye se,

10. അവര് ഇന്നുവരെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ താഴ്ത്തിയില്ല; അവര് ഭയപ്പെടുകയോ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിലും വെച്ച ന്യായപ്രമാണവും ചട്ടങ്ങളും അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കയോ ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.

10. and saye vnto them: Thus saieth the LORDE of hoostes the God of Israel: Beholde, I will sende and call for Nabuchodonosor the kynge of Babilon my seruaunt, and will set his seate vpon these stones that I haue hyd, and he shall sprede his tente ouer them.

11. അതുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് അനര്ത്ഥത്തിന്നായിട്ടു, യെഹൂദയെ മുഴുവനും ഛേദിച്ചുകളവാനായിട്ടുതന്നേ, എന്റെ മുഖം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എതിരായി വെക്കുന്നു.

11. And when he commeth, he shal smyte the lode of Egipte with slaughter, with presonment and with the swearde.

12. മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ചെന്നു പാര്പ്പാന് അവിടെ പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു മുഖം തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദാശിഷ്ടത്തെ ഞാന് പിടിക്കും; അവരെല്ലാവരും മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു അവര് വീഴും; വാള്കൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും അവര് മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; അവര് ആബാലവൃദ്ധം വാള്കൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മരിക്കും; അവര് പ്രാക്കിന്നും സ്തംഭനത്തിന്നും ശാപത്തിന്നും നിന്ദെക്കും വിഷയമായ്തീരും.

12. He shall set fyre vpon the temples of the Egipcias goddes, and burne them vp, & take them selues presoners. Morouer he shall araye himselff wt the lode of Egipte, like as a shepherde putteth on his cote, and shall departe his awaye from thence in peace.

13. ഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിനെ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചതുപോലെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരെയും വാള്കൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും സന്ദര്ശിക്കും.

13. The pilers also of the temple of the Sonne that is in Egipte, shal he breake in peces, and burne the tempels of the Egipcians goddes.
