1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of ADONAI came to me:

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മത്സരഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നു; കാണ്മാന് കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലു അവര് കാണുന്നില്ല; കേള്പ്പാന് ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അവര് കേള്ക്കുന്നില്ല; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.

2. 'Human being, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes that can see, but they don't take notice; and they have ears that can hear, but they don't pay attention; because they are a rebellious people.

3. ആകയാല് മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യാത്രക്കോപ്പു ഒരുക്കി പകല്സമയത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പുറപ്പെടുക; അവര് കാണ്കെ നിന്റെ സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു യാത്രപുറപ്പെടുക; മത്സരഗൃഹമെങ്കിലും പക്ഷേ അവര് കണ്ടു ഗ്രഹിക്കുമായിരിക്കും.

3. So you, human being, prepare supplies for exile; and during the daytime, as they watch, go away as if you were going into exile- leave your place, and go somewhere else as they watch. Perhaps they will take notice, even though they are a rebellious house.

4. യാത്രക്കോപ്പുപോലെ നിന്റെ സാമാനം നീ പകല്സമയത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; വൈകുന്നേരത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്നു പോകുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ നീ പുറപ്പെടേണം.

4. Bring out your belongings during the day while they watch, as supplies for exile; and you yourself, while they watch, are to leave as people do who are going into exile.

5. അവര് കാണ്കെ നീ മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരന്നു അതില്കൂടി അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

5. Dig a hole through the wall while they watch, and carry [[your belongings]] out through it.

6. അവര് കാണ്കെ നീ അതു തോളില് ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഇരുട്ടത്തു യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; നിലം കാണാതവണ്ണം നിന്റെ മുഖം മൂടിക്കൊള്ളേണം; ഞാന് നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒരു അടയാളം ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. While they watch, you are to shoulder your pack and carry it out into the dark, with your face covered, so that you can't see the ground; for I am making you a sign for the house of Isra'el.'

7. എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് ചെയ്തു; യാത്രക്കോപ്പുപോലെ ഞാന് എന്റെ സാമാനം പകല്സമയത്തു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, വൈകുന്നേരത്തു ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ടു മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരന്നു ഇരുട്ടത്തു അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, അവര് കാണ്കെ തോളില് ചുമന്നു.

7. So I did as I had been ordered- I brought out my belongings during the day as supplies for exile, and in the evening I dug a hole through the wall with my hand; then I carried my pack out on my shoulder in the dark as they watched.

8. എന്നാല് രാവിലെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

8. In the morning the word of ADONAI came to me:

9. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, മത്സരഗൃഹമായ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം നിന്നോടുനീ എന്തു ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചില്ലയോ?

9. 'Human being, the house of Isra'el, that rebellious house, has asked you what you are doing.

10. ഈ അരുളപ്പാടു യെരൂശലേമിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്ക്കും അവരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാര്ക്കുംന്ന യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും ഉള്ളതു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറക.

10. Tell them that [Adonai ELOHIM] says this prophecy concerns the prince in Yerushalayim and all the house of Isra'el there.

11. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരടയാളമാകുന്നു എന്നു നീ പറക; ഞാന് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവര്ക്കും ഭവിക്കും; അവര് നാടുകടന്നു പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും.

11. Say: 'I am a sign for you. As I have done, so will it be done to them- they will go into exile, into captivity.

12. അവരുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള പ്രഭു ഇരുട്ടത്തു തോളില് ചുമടുമായി പുറപ്പെടും; അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരക്കും; കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിലം കാണാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് മുഖം മൂടും.

12. The prince who is with them will shoulder his pack and leave in the dark. They will dig holes through the wall to carry out their supplies. He will cover his face, so that he won't be able to see the ground with his eyes.

13. ഞാന് എന്റെ വല അവന്റെമേല് വീശും; അവന് എന്റെ കണിയില് അകപ്പെടും; ഞാന് അവനെ കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തു ബാബേലില് കൊണ്ടുപോകും; എങ്കിലും അവന് അതിനെ കാണാതെ അവിടെവെച്ചു മരിക്കും.

13. I will spread my net over him, and he will be caught in my snare. Then I will bring him to Bavel, to the land of the Kasdim. But he will not see it, even though he is going to die there.

14. അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സഹായക്കാരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് നാലു ദിക്കിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാളൂരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

14. I will scatter to every wind all who are in attendance on him to help him, along with all his troops; and I will pursue them with the sword.

15. ഞാന് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിതറിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളില് ചിന്നിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

15. They will know that I am ADONAI when I scatter them among the nations and disperse them among the countries.

16. എന്നാല് അവര് പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളെയും വിവരിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവരില് ഏതാനുംപേരെ വാള്, ക്ഷാമം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിവയില്നിന്നു ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

16. But I will spare a few of them from sword, famine and plague; so that they can tell about all their disgusting practices among the nations where they go; thus they too will know that I am ADONAI.''

17. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. The word of ADONAI came to me:

18. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നടുക്കത്തോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും വിറയലോടും പേടിയോടുംകൂടെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്ക.

18. Human being, shake as you eat your food; tremble anxiously as you drink your water;

19. ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതുയെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅവരുടെ ദേശം അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളുടെയും സാഹസംനിമിത്തം അതിന്റെ നിറവോടു കൂടെ ശൂന്യമായ്പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് പേടിയോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും സ്തംഭനത്തോട വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

19. and say to the people of the land, 'Here is what [Adonai ELOHIM] says concerning those living in Yerushalayim in the land of Isra'el: 'They will eat their bread in anxiety and drink their water in horror; because the land will be desolated from everything that fills it, due to the violence of those living there.

20. ജനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങള് ശൂന്യവും ദേശം നിര്ജ്ജനവും ആയിത്തീരും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

20. The inhabited cities will be laid waste, the land will be desolate, and you will know that I am ADONAI.'''

21. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

21. The word of ADONAI came to me:

22. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, കാലം നീണ്ടുപോകും; ദര്ശനമൊക്കെയും ഒക്കാതെപോകും എന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തു ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലുള്ളതു എന്തു?

22. Human being, don't you have this proverb in the land of Isra'el, 'Time keeps passing, and none of the visions are fulfilled'?

23. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഞാന് ഈ പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലു നിര്ത്തലാക്കും; അവര് യിസ്രായേലില് ഇനി അതു ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായി ഉപയോഗിക്കയില്ല; കാലവും സകല ദര്ശനത്തിന്റെയും നിവൃത്തിയും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക.

23. Therefore tell them that [Adonai ELOHIM] says, 'I will put an end to that proverb; never again will they use it as a proverb in Isra'el.' Tell them, 'The time has come for the fulfillment of every vision.

24. യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തില് ഇനി മിത്ഥ്യാദര്ശനവും വ്യാജപ്രശ്നവും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല.

24. There will no longer be empty visions or falsely optimistic divinations in the house of Isra'el,

25. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; അതു താമസിയാതെ നിവൃത്തിയാകും; മത്സരഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലത്തു തന്നേ ഞാന് വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും നിവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

25. because I am ADONAI. I will speak; and whatever statement I make, it will be accomplished. It will no longer be delayed; for in your days, you rebellious house, I will speak the word and accomplish it,' says [Adonai ELOHIM].'

26. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

26. Again, the word of ADONAI came to me:

27. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹംഇവന് ദര്ശിക്കുന്ന ദര്ശനം വളരെനാളത്തേക്കുള്ളതും ഇവന് പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു ദീര്ഘകാലത്തേക്കുള്ളതും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

27. Human being, look! People from the house of Isra'el are saying, 'The vision he sees concerns the distant future; he is prophesying about a time far off.'

28. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്റെ വചനങ്ങളില് ഒന്നും ഇനി താമസിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

28. Therefore, say to them that [Adonai ELOHIM] says, 'None of my words will be delayed any more, but the word that I speak will be accomplished,' says [Adonai ELOHIM].'
