1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of the LORD came unto me saying:

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോര്പ്രഭുവിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിഗളിച്ചുപോയി; നീ ദൈവമല്ല മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രമായിരിക്കെഞാന് ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാന് സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ ദൈവാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. Thou son of man; Tell the prince of Tyre: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD,(LORDE God) because thou hast a proud heart and hast said: I am a God, I have my seat in the middest of the sea like a God: where as thou art but a man, and not God, and yet standest in thine own conceit, that thou art God:

3. നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു--നീ ദാനീയേലിലും ജ്ഞാനിയല്ലോ; നീ അറിയാതവണ്ണം മറെച്ചുവെക്കാകുന്ന ഒരു രഹസ്യവുമില്ല;

3. Behold, thou thinkest thyself wiser than Daniel, that there is no secrets hid from thee.

4. നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടും വിവേകംകൊണ്ടും നീ ധനം സമ്പാദിച്ചു പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും നിന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെച്ചു;

4. With thy wisdom and thy understanding, thou hast gotten thee great wealthiness, and gathered treasure of silver and gold.

5. നീ മഹാ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു കച്ചവടത്താല് ധനം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ധനംനിമിത്തം ഗര്വ്വിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു--

5. With thy great wisdom and occupying, hast thou increased thy power, and because of thy great riches, thy heart is proud.

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

6. Therefore thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) For so much as thou hast lift up thine heart, as though thou were God:

7. നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിക്കയാല് ഞാന് ജാതികളില് ഉഗ്രന്മാരായ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും; അവര് നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനശോഭയുടെ നേരെ വാളൂരി നിന്റെ പ്രഭയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

7. behold, I will bring enemies upon thee, even the tyrants of the Heathen: These shall draw out their swords upon thy beauty and wisdom, and shall defile thy glory.

8. അവര് നിന്നെ കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കും; നീ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നിഹതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും.

8. They shall cast thee down to the pit, so that thou shalt die in the middest of the sea,

9. നിന്നെ കുത്തിക്കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ കയ്യില് നീ ദൈവമല്ല, മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രം ആയിരിക്കെ, നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ മുമ്പില്ഞാന് ദൈവം എന്നു നീ പറയുമോ?

9. as they that be slain. Let see, if thou wilt say then (before them that slay thee) I am God: where as thou art but a man and not God, in the hands of them that slayeth thee.

10. അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ കയ്യാല് നീ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10. Die shalt thou, even as the uncircumcised in the hands of the enemies: for I myself have spoken it, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

11. യഹോയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

11. Moreover, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

12. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോര് രാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു! നീ മാതൃകാ മുദ്രയാകുന്നു; നീ ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണനും സൌന്ദര്യസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണനും തന്നേ.

12. Thou son of man, make a lamentable complaint over the king of Tyre, and tell him: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Thou art a seal of a likeness, full of wisdom and excellent beauty.

13. നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടമായ ഏദെനില് ആയിരുന്നു; താമ്രമണി, പീതരത്നം, വജ്രം, പുഷ്പരാഗം, ഗോമേദകം, സൂര്യകാന്തം, നീലക്കല്ലു, മാണിക്യം, മരതകം മുതലായ സകലരത്നങ്ങളും നിന്നെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു; നിന്നെ തീര്ത്തനാളില് നിന്നില് ഉള്ള തടങ്ങളുടെയും കൂടുകളുടെയും പണി പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

13. Thou hast been in the pleasure garden of God: thou art decked with all manner of precious stones: with Ruby, Topas, Crystal, Jacinth, Onyx, Jaspis, Sapphire, Smaragde, Carbuncle, and gold. Thy beauty and the holes that be in thee were set forth in the day of thy creation.

14. നീ ചിറകു വിടര്ത്തു മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബ് ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധദേവപര്വ്വതത്തില് ഇരുത്തിയിരുന്നു; നീ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുപോന്നു.

14. Thou art a fair Cherub, stretched wide out for to cover. I have set thee upon the holy mount of God, there hast thou been, and walked among the fair glistering stones.

15. നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച നാള്മുതല് നിങ്കല് നീതികേടു കണ്ടതുവരെ നീ നടപ്പില് നഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു.

15. From the time of thy creation thou hast been right excellent, till wickedness was found in thee.

16. നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ അന്തര്ഭാഗം സാഹസംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞു നീ പാപം ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു എണ്ണി ദേവപര്വ്വതത്തില് നിന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

16. Because of thy great merchandise, thy heart is full of wickedness, and thou hast offended. Therefore will I cast thee from the mount of God (O thou covering Cherub) and destroy thee among the glistering stones.

17. നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗര്വ്വിച്ചു, നിന്റെ പ്രഭനിമിത്തം നീ നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ വഷളാക്കി; ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു, രാജാക്കന്മാര് നിന്നെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

17. Thy heart was proud in thy fair beauty, and thorow thy beauty thou hast destroyed thy wisdom. I will cast thee down to the ground, and that in the sight of kings.

18. നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബാഹുല്യംകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടും നീ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; അതു നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ കാണുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും മുമ്പില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിലത്തു ഭസ്മമാക്കിക്കളയും.

18. Thou hast defiled thy Sanctuary, with the great wickedness of thy unrighteous occupying. I will bring a fire from the middest of thee, to consume thee: and will make thee to ashes, in the sight of all them that look upon thee.

19. ജാതികളില് നിന്നെ അറിയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും നിന്നെ കണ്ടു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശിഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചിട്ടു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

19. All they that have been acquainted with thee among the Heathen, shall be abashed at thee: seeing thou art so clean brought to naught, and comest no more up.

20. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

20. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

21. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സീദോന്നു നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ചു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു

21. Thou son of man, set thy face against Sidon. Prophesy upon it,

22. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസീദോനേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടുവില് എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതില് ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

22. and speak: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Behold O Sidon, I will upon thee, and get me honour in thee: that it may be known, how that I am the LORD, when I punish her, and get me honour in her.

23. ഞാന് അതില് മഹാമാരിയും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളില് രക്തവും അയക്കും; ചുറ്റിലും നിന്നു അതിന്റെ നേരെ വരുന്ന വാള്കൊണ്ടു നിഹതന്മാരായവര് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് വീഴും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

23. For I will send pestilence and blood shedding into her streets, so that those which be slain with the sword, shall lie round about in the middest of her: and they shall know, that I am the LORD.

24. യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ നിന്ദിച്ചവരായി അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരിലുംനിന്നു കുത്തുന്ന പറക്കാരയും നോവിക്കുന്ന മുള്ളും ഇനി അവര്ക്കുംണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

24. She shall no more be a pricking thorn, and an hurting brier unto the house of Israel, nor unto them that lie round about her and hate her: and they shall know, that I am the LORD.

25. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ അവര് ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു. ജാതികള് കാണ്കെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ അവരില് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള്, ഞാന് എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു അവര് പാര്ക്കും.

25. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) When I gather the household of Israel together again from the nations among whom they be scattered: then shall I be sanctified in them, in the sight of the Gentiles, and they shall dwell in the land, that I gave to my servant Jacob.

26. അവര് അതില് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; അതെ, അവര് വീടുകളെ പണിതു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കും; അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരായി അവരെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ഏവരിലും ഞാന് ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തുമ്പോള് അവര് നിര്ഭയമായി വസിക്കും; ഞാന് അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

26. They shall dwell safely therein, build houses, and plant vineyards: Yea safely shall they dwell therein, when I have punished all those, that despise them round about: and then shall they know, that I am the LORD their God.
