1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying:

2. ദീപങ്ങള് നിത്യം കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് നിലവിളക്കിന്നു ഇടിച്ചെടുത്ത തെളിവുള്ള ഒലിവെണ്ണ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണമെന്നു അവരോടു കല്പിക്ക.

2. Commaunde the children of Israel that they bryng vnto thee pure oyle oliue beaten for the lyght, to cause the lampes to burne continually,

3. സാമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലെക്കു പുറത്തു വൈകുന്നേരം മുതല് രാവിലെവരെ കത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹരോന് അതു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിലയില് നിത്യം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആകുന്നു.

3. Without the vayle of witnesse in the tabernacle of the congregation shall Aaron dresse them both euenyng and mornyng before the Lorde alwayes: Let it be a lawe for euer in your generations.

4. അവന് നിത്യവും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്മേല് ദീപങ്ങള് ഒരുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

4. He shall dresse the lampes vpon ye pure candlesticke before ye Lord perpetually.

5. നീ നേരിയ മാവു എടുത്തു അതുകൊണ്ടു പന്ത്രണ്ടു ദോശ ചുടേണം; ഔരോ ദോശ രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ടു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

5. And thou shalt take fine floure, and bake twelue cakes therof, two tenth deales shalbe in one cake.

6. അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് തങ്കമേശമേല് രണ്ടു അടുക്കായിട്ടു ഔരോ അടുക്കില് ആറാറുവീതം വെക്കേണം.

6. And thou shalt set the in two rowes, sixe on a rowe, vpon the pure table before the Lorde.

7. ഔരോ അടുക്കിന്മേല് നിര്മ്മലമായ കുന്തുരുക്കം വെക്കേണം; അതു അപത്തിന്മേല് നിവേദ്യമായി യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായിരിക്കേണം.

7. And put pure frankensence vpon the rowes, that they may be bread of remembraunce, and an offeryng made by fire vnto the Lorde.

8. അവന് അതു നിത്യനിയമമായിട്ടു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു വാങ്ങി ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിരന്തരമായി അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

8. Euery Sabbath he shall put them in rowes before the Lorde euermore, of the chyldren of Israel shall they be offered for an euerlastyng couenaunt.

9. അതു അഹരോന്നും പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഉള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവര് അതു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തു വെച്ചു തിന്നേണം; അതു അവന്നു ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളില് അതിവിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

9. And they shalbe Aarons and his sonnes, which shall eate them in the holy place: For they are most holy vnto hym of the offerynges of the Lorde made by fire, by a perpetuall statute.

10. അനന്തരം ഒരു യിസ്രായേല്യ സ്ത്രീയുടെയും ഒരു മിസ്രയീമ്യന്റെയും മകനായ ഒരുത്തന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ ഈ മകനും ഒരു യിസ്രാല്യേനും തമ്മില് പാളയത്തില്വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠയിട്ടു.

10. And the sonne of an Israelitishe wife, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: And this sonne of the Israelitishe wyfe and a man of Israel stroue together in the hoast.

11. യിസ്രയേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകന് തിരുനാമം ദുഷിച്ചു ശപിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് അവനെ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ശെലോമിത്ത് എന്നു പേര്. അവള് ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ദിബ്രി എന്നൊരുവന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

11. And the Israelitishe womans sonne blasphemed the name of the Lorde, and cursed, and they brought hym vnto Moyses: His mothers name was Selomith, which was the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

12. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് അവനെ തടവില് വെച്ചു.

12. And they put hym in warde, that the minde of ye Lorde might be shewed the.

13. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

13. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying:

14. ശപിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോക; കേട്ടവര് എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ തലയില് കൈവെച്ചശേഷം സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം.

14. Bryng the cursed speaker without the hoast, and let all that hearde hym, put their handes vpon his head, and let all the multitude stone hym.

15. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു നി പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ശപിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കും.

15. And thou shalt speake vnto ye children of Israel, saying: Whosoeuer curseth his God, shall beare his sinne.

16. യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; സഭയൊക്കെയും അവനെ കല്ലെറിയേണം; പരദേശിയാകട്ടേ സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ തിരുനാമത്തെ ദുഷിക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

16. And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lorde, let him be slayne, and all the multitude shall stone hym to death: Whether he be borne in the lande, or a straunger, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lorde, let hym be slayne.

17. മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

17. And he that kylleth any man, let hym dye the death.

18. മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മൃഗത്തിന്നു പകരം മൃഗത്തെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

18. And he that kylleth a beast, let hym make hym good, beast for beast.

19. ഒരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു കേടു വരുത്തിയാല് അവന് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവനോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

19. And yf a man cause a blemishe in his neighbour: as he hath done, so shall it be done to hym.

20. ഒടിവിന്നു പകരം ഒടിവു, കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു, പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് മറ്റേവന്നു കേടുവരുത്തിയതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന്നും വരുത്തേണം.

20. Broke for broke, eye for eye, and tooth for tooth: euen as he hath blemisshed a man, so shall he be blemisshed agayne.

21. മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് അതിന്നു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

21. And he that kylleth a beast, let hym restore it: and he that kylleth a man, let hym dye.

22. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പരദേശിക്കും സ്വദേശിക്കും ഒരു പ്രമാണം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

22. Ye shall haue one maner of lawe, euen for the straunger as well as for one of your owne countrey: for I am the Lorde your God.

23. ദുഷിച്ചവനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുപൊയി കല്ലെറിയേണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ചെയ്തു.

23. And Moyses tolde the childre of Israel, & they brought hym that had cursed out of the hoast, and stoned hym with stones: And the children of Israel dyd as the Lorde commaunded Moyses.
